CHAPTER FIVE The next day, I was up bright and early, well before the sun rose and before the small, sleepy town of Accord woke up. I had a quick breakfast of bacon and eggs, along with a huge cup of coffee to wake me up quickly. Simon clearly wanted to sleep in, because he was bitching about how early we had to get up. I didn’t pay his complaints that much attention, however, because I suspected that today was going to be a long day and I wanted us to get a head start on it. Plus, there was another, very important reason why we needed to get up this early as well.
