"You've been keeping something from me, Emily," I whisper, not wanting to make a scene. "Tell me what it is now before I ask Alvaro to spill the truth to me. This is your last and final chance."
I still couldn't believe what I'd just seen between her and Alvaro. She had some serious explaining to do, and I wasn't about to let this go without a proper explanation first.
She sighs and looks around her nervously, "why can't you trust me for once? I'm telling you that it isn't anything important. Let's not mess this big day up for Ace and Gabriella. It's supposed to be a special day for the two of them, and we are drawing all of the attention to ourselves."
