“It seems that we have been called home, and they are going to let these men have a chance at getting their uniforms dirty. Let’s saddle up. The capital is calling us home.” The soldier called out, to the relief of the wolves. Frankly, they all looked pleased to be leaving, and had packed up and left in less than half an hour. Stepping into their positions, praying that the sun would rise earlier and bring the galley sooner, the warriors kept their eyes fixed on the horizon. Thankful eyes of the disguised wolves were fixed upon the galley that had entered the port. The dawn had a royal purple tinge, as if a celestial ceremony was going to celebrate their return home.
