CHAPTER SEVEN

Mimi ran into Elliot's room, looking frantic. "Elliot, I need to tell you something," she said, out of breath. Elliot looked up from his book, concerned. "What is it, Mimi?" he asked. Mimi's eyes welled up with tears. "It's about my mom's new clothes. Lillian burned them," she said, her voice shaking. Elliot's expression changed from concern to shock and anger. "What? That's unbelievable," he said, standing up. He quickly walked to Eniola's room, his anger boiling over. "What happened to the clothes I gave to you?" he asked, his voice firm. Eniola looked up at him, confused. "What do you mean? I didn't do anything to them," she said. Elliot's eyes narrowed. "Don't lie to me, Eniola. I know Lillian has been causing trouble. Tell me the truth," he said. Eniola hesitated for a moment before speaking. "Okay, fine. Lillian took the clothes and burned them. But it's not just that. She's been causing trouble for me and Mimi too," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. Elliot's face turned red with anger. "I'll take care of this," he said, storming out of the room. He was determined to put an end to Lillian's troublemaking once and for all. He couldn't believe Lillian would stoop so low.
