Chapter 29I woke up to the sun shining through the sliding doors. Our room was a small suite. It was completely open like a studio, but you could close off and separate the bedroom from the living room and kitchen. The living room had a fireplace which was still smoldering. The bedroom had a large sliding glass door which opened to a deck that overlooked the Pacific Ocean. Cindy was up and just coming back to bed with two cups of coffee. We had slept with the room opened up to view the fire all night. The room and deck hung from a high cliff, giving us complete privacy.
