Chapter 27I woke up and looked over at the clock. It was 10:00 a.m. I had slept almost 11 hours. I hadn’t slept that much in years. It had been four very stressful days, and I was extremely tired last night. I lay there on top of the sheets feeling a cool breeze coming through the open French doors. The coolness of the morning air was heavenly. It was bright outside and already warming up. It was going to be another hot day. I first thought about Cindy, wondering if she is ok.
