46. Misunderstanding

“Who dared to make you like this, Anna? Is it you or my policies torturing you? I absolutely never wanted to return to the white world like you wanted. I'm comfortable like this and I hope you feel the same as me. What has your mother been missing all this time taking care of you? Have you ever been hungry all day? You just need to sit back and do your thing, Anna. No other. Who taught you to complain like that, Anna? You really are being a crybaby and I really don't like that. Your mother is a strong and firm person in doing things. If you see me often hurting other people and torturing them, it's not without reason. Life is so harsh that if we want to survive, we must be able to suppress others so that they do not appear on the surface. Don't think that what mom is doing is because she's mean or cruel to them. You have to think that they are the bad guys we need to get rid of. We don't maintain it on this earth, so that our goals and ideals are truly achieved. Did you know that your mother has aspirations to become a Queen? This aspiration is not an easy goal because many people want to block my intention. Now mom asks you if you have goals and they get in the way of you what do you do? Are you going to just sit back and accept your defeat like that? I can't do that, Anna. I can't be what you think because being a queen was my childhood dream. Not a momentary dream. Please underline that because I want you to know and understand why your mother is considered evil by others. Maybe what Minah said is true, that all this time you have had a very painful life. You are shunned by friends just because your mother is considered a bad person. When that happens you should act like what mom did. You should have followed in your mother's footsteps because the young blood of the mother's blood flows the same."

Ana shook her head. She did not think that at this time her mother came to her room and chose to spit out all of his heart to her. All this time, Ana knew that her mother was silent when she saw her cry. There was no desire to calm her down even when her friends insulted and mocked and hurt her, her mother showed no reaction at all. This makes you feel like someone else is not Sarah's child. But once again Anna could only remain silent while regretting that she was not the same as her friends.

"Tell mother, then do you still want mother to return to the right path? If that happens, I hope you can get out of this house and no longer interfere with my life. Don't ever think of me as your mother and when that happens then the first person I have to be full of is you."

Anna's throat tightened at her mother's words. She never expected that a mother would reveal something this unexpected. When she is hurt and her mother does not care at all, she will not feel disappointed but when she is crying and her mother already thinks she is not her child then that is the disaster she will get.

Sarah was still looking at Anna with her sharp eyes. Her teeth chattered to suppress the turbulent feeling in her heart. She really regrets having had a child like Anna. All this time she wanted her to have a brave daughter like herself and that was only in her dreams.

Anna just looked down for a moment, then she looked back at her mother who was still staring at her from her position. Anna had absolutely no idea who told her mother about her current feelings. As for Minah, Anna didn't believe it at all. She already considers Minah as her own mother more than Sarah because all Anna knows all this time the only one who cares about her is Minah. Others simply don't want to know how she feels.

“Behave as a daredevil. You are my descendants. Biological descendants born from my womb. Don't ever think that you are a stepdaughter so that you feel like you can be a hindrance."

"I'm still going to be like this, Mom. I will still pray that you will get guidance from God to be able to return to the right path. Even if you are still covered by black clouds, I hope that someday God will make it easy for me to influence all your feelings."

"God damn it. You really are an ignorant child. Useless child and ungrateful child for this effort your mother gave you. Never regret because after this we are enemies.”

“You may think of me as an enemy but deep in my heart. I am not disobedient to you. I was acting like a dutiful  daughter to her mother. I hope that mother can survive the torments of hell someday when we die and face the almighty. If my mother thinks that I am a rebellious child, I will accept it sincerely and I will still be a child like this who has a soft and kind heart. Even though mom sees me as an enemy. I will still think of myself as a person I should respect and respect. The person I have to save. Don't let your mother's behavior bring an accident to her own mother. I do not want that to happen."

Without answering Anna's statement, Sarah turned her body and left her daughter's room to her own room while continuing to grumble. Everyone who saw Sarah's behavior could only lower their heads without daring to look at the employer who was currently experiencing turmoil. Anger peaked that Sarah had never raised even though she often cursed.

Seeing her subordinates lower their heads without seeing their faces, Sarah clenched her fists and then smacked them into the air making a loud sound that startled them all. Sarah's men lay down below. They always did that when Sarah was on a rampage so as not to be hit by the magic power coiling in the air.

"Hahaha you guys are just like ana. A loser who hasn't even stepped into the battlefield yet. Get down, bow and obey before you guys actually fight me. Just watch out if you conspire with my son to bring me down. I will never forgive you at all. Bear in mind that. I know where you guys are when I talk to my son. You're eavesdropping on our conversation and later you'll spread it to the outside community that Sarah and her daughter are fighting?"

Sarah's eyes bulged like they were about to fall out of place especially when she saw all the maids still in their position on the floor. They didn't flinch as if they didn't care about the threat at all. There was no plea for mercy like they used to do all this time. This irritated Sara even more and she kept banging her hands in the air. Several tiles in the yard floated like a tornado looking for prey as if they were going to crush anyone in front of them.

Anna, who heard the commotion in the living room, immediately came out of the room and witnessed a scene that made her breathless.

"I'm mad at me, not at them. Why do you vent your anger on those who are completely innocent? If you really want to throw a tantrum at me. Don't be shy because I will accept everything without evading at all.”

Hearing her son's words, Sarah just left the room without a word. Her heart really burned realizing how badly she had been hurt because she had a child who could not support her career and goals.

Seeing her mother gone, Anna then stepped up to the maids. She tries to help them get up and get back to where they were at so as not to add to her mother's anger.

When Anna was helping one of the maids, suddenly someone ran from the front. No one knew what was happening outside that made the soldiers who were still holding full weapons in their hands run over to the people who were still lying down.
