Chapter 2

*TAE*

It has been two months since we have been back and our relationship with our parents and Jadiel had not healed completely. Nothing has changed though we still are the same as when we had left. Yes, we still get into trouble at least once a day. Although our father is close to the Alpha and my brother Jadiel is best buddies with the future Alpha I must differ as Jacob and I are not. We don't really get along with the future Alpha. As a matter of fact, we kind of got in trouble with him for playing an innocent prank on him that takes me to where we are right now.

"You guys need to grow up and quit acting so immature." The future Alpha, Axel, roared. "You guys are 17 already almost 18 for goodness sake." He might be slightly aggravated that his dirty blonde hair is currently blue and I simply rolled my eyes at him. Pfft, he can't take a little prank. "Tae, are you even listening to what I'm saying?" He asked annoyed.

"Yes." I answered bored out of my mind as I felt an elbow on my side. Of course, Jadiel will try to persuade me to pay attention. I love my brother to death, I do, and even after what happened years ago but he still gets on my damn nerves.

"Your time away did not help at all, huh? It's time for you and Jacob to confront the consequences of your actions." I turned to see Jake's eyes widened. Holy mother of Jesus we are in some deep bogus.

"You really want to go there. I've tried to forget that you two are to blame to why Jake and I were sent away in the first place. Why we had to leave our friends behind not our family because they were part of it." I glared at them.

"You guys decided to stay there, Tae, we went to bring you guys back but you guys refused to." Jadiel exclaimed.

"Yes, you guys did after we had been there for months. What you guys finally felt bad that the pestering twins had to be away because they were too much of a burden for the pack." Jake snap at him.

"Should we be thankful that you all felt guilty for sending the 14-year old twins away on their own?" I questioned but before they were able to open their mouth I kept talking. "Well no we are not. As a matter of fact we were hurt but it didn't matter I had Jake and he had me. We have learned that we don't have anyone else other than ourselves to rely on. Now don't come pulling that crap on us because we are not going to take any bullshit." I hissed.

"We apologized we thought it would help you guys become responsible but now we understand that that's just you guys' personality." Jadiel let out a breath as I noticed regret flash through his and Axel's eyes. We nodded. Jake and I have a special connection that no one understands before we say a word we already know what we are visualizing, we don't even need to mind-link to communicate. As soon as Axel and Jadiel stood up we took advantage of our connection to dash out of the pack-house.

"Jacob, Tae, come back here." Axel and Jadiel both growled. We have not turned 18 yet so we still can't shift. If you have not figured it out by now we are werewolves, also known as Lycans, and that is the reason why I was able to play so flawlessly my position in New York. Axel is the future alpha and Jadiel is the future beta. Jake and I are highly athletic so our running is outstanding still it does not compare to a werewolves' speed capacity. Although we can out run a couple of wolfs that are not warriors, enforcers, beta or the alpha. I am so euphoric to meet my wolf soon to be able to shift and outrun everyone. We were about to make it to our parents' house when Jake got tackled and I got swooped off my feet then thrown over someone's shoulder.

"Let me go. Put me down this instance." I said after letting out a small shriek. Yup, even though I'm a prankster and really athletic or sort of a tomboy, I'm still a girl. So I do squeal, shriek, and giggle.

"You shouldn't have run." A husky voice said which I recognized immediately as Axel's. Damn it, why couldn't it be my brother instead. Holy Christ he has a marvelous behind.

"I don't covet your butt put me down. NOW." I said, irritated. His back muscles contracted as he walked and his hands kept me steady in that uncomfortable position of perusing his gorgeous behind. Why do I keep thinking about his gorgeous behind? I wish I could touch it to feel his hard muscly booty. I shook my head to get rid of those naughty thoughts.

"Nop, and you know you desire my butt." He said letting out a chuckle. Ugh arrogant mutt. Now what are they going to do. Wait. Jake?

"No, and where's Jake?" I asked worriedly.

"Oh, don't worry princess he will be your partner in your punishment as in your crimes." I groaned. f*****g s**t, why can't I be a werewolf already? It would have been easier to escape from them. We'll be turning 18 in two weeks I'm utterly ecstatic as most likely I'll be meeting my mate as well hopefully that day.

"Ready?" I heard Axel and Jadiel say in unison? Sumptuous now they are sharing a twin connection or what? Wait though. What are they going to do? Suddenly I was flying and like a wingless animal I began to flailing my arms as if I was trying to fly.

"Wait. Wha-" I was cut off halfway through the word when I felt cold water hitting my skin and goosebumps coursed throughout my whole body. That water was bone-chilling at this time at night and we surely don't live in the freaking west coast near the beach in California. As soon as we reach the surface I heard laughter. Once I opened my eyes, I saw Axel and Jadiel holding their stomach's laughing without control.

"You guys look and smell like wet dogs." Axel said between laughter. Rocking his perfectly sky high crop hairstyle, his penetrating green eyes and those edible, kissable lips. I shook my head clearing those sexually frustrated thoughts away for that pompous mutt. When I finally got out of the pool I was shivering like a damn chihuahua. I helped Jake out of the pool and an idea popped in my head, I smirked gazing at Jake as he nodded. While Axel and Jadiel were still laughing, rolling around the ground we got on top of them wetting them as well. Axel placed his hands on my waist and I relaxed at his touch. What the hell is going on with me?

"I guess we are not the only wet dogs after all." I said giving them a smirk after noticing their shocked expression.

"Axel, what the hell is going on here? Why is that little b***h on top of you?" I heard that disturbing pitchy voice. Yuck. At the same time I heard my brothers growling at her.

"We were playing around Beth." Axel said, in a monotone voice as I got up from him and rolled my eyes. I helped my brothers up from the ground and left quickly before I got in another argument with her having in mind that we always do every time we cross each other's path. Ever since I came back we've being getting into arguments to the point that she has tried to fight me nonetheless I'm not allowed as I haven't shifted yet. Bethany is Axel's girlfriend, they began dating three years ago, he hasn't marked her yet I don't understand what they are waiting for. She has her little group of minions that are always trying to bully me or shove me around, however, it always backfires because they always get in trouble for things I do and for doing such horrid things to someone who has not shifted yet. Axel's father does not fancy Bethany and he always takes my side which does not sit well with her.

*JAKE*

"You guys decided to stay there, Tae, we went to bring you guys back but you guys refused to." Jadiel exclaimed.

"Yes, you guys did after we had been there for months. What you guys finally felt bad that the pestering twins had to be away because they were too much of a burden for the pack." I finally snap not being able to control my anger and feeling Tae's.

"Should we be thankful that you all felt guilty for sending the 14-year old twins away on their own?" Tae questioned irked but before they could answer she continued. "Well, no we are not. As a matter of fact we were hurt but it didn't matter I had Jake and he had me. We have learned that we don't have anyone else other than ourselves to rely on." Yea there were nights were she would cry herself to sleep or those nights I thought it was all my fault we had been sent away and we only had each other to cheer ourselves up. "Now don't come pulling that crap on us because we are not going to take any bullshit." She hissed.

"We apologized we thought it would help you guys become responsible but now we understand that that's just you guys' personality." Jadiel lowered his gaze and I was able to see regret on Axel's eyes and we nodded. Tae and I have a special connection that no one has been able to understand before so they see us sometimes as freaks but that never phase us. We don't need to say a word when we already know what we are visualizing and we don't even need to mind-link to communicate. As soon as Axel and Jadiel stood up we took advantage of our connection to dash out of the pack-house.

"Jacob, Tae, come back here." Axel and Jadiel both growled. I'm hoping to reach the house before they get ahold of us. Yes, my sister and I are very athletic our running is outstanding but we haven't shifted yet so we are still slower than any enforcer, warrior, beta, or alpha. We have been waiting to turn 18 for so long that waiting 2 more weeks is a piece of cake. When we were about 10 feet away I got tackled to the floor by a big dark brown wolf, Jadiel, that prick sent me flying a couple of meters away from Tae. I hope they did not tackle her or they'll face my wrath although I didn't feel any pain through our special connection I don't know what they did to her.

"Where's Tae?" I asked Jadiel as he dragged me somewhere.

"Oh don't worry little brother she'll be there with you handling the consequences." He smirked oh s**t what are they going to do to us? "Ready?" I heard Axel and Jadiel say simultaneously before I was able to react I felt icy water hit my body. Once I came back up to the surface Axel and Jadiel were laughing uncontrollably.

"You guys look and smell like wet dogs." Axel banter still laughing. He was rolling around the ground so was my brother and as I glanced at Tae I knew what she was up to a boon we have against others. She helped me out of the pool before they caught on to what we were planning we dog piled them soaking them in the process.

"I guess we are not the only wet dogs after all." Tae said, smugly.

"Axel, what the hell is going on here?" Ugh that annoying squeaky voice only belongs to one redheaded bimbo. "Why is that little b***h on top of you?" I growled at her and so did Jadiel till this day I don't understand why Axel is dating her.

"We were playing around Beth." Axel huffed annoyed. Tae stood up from him and walked over to help us up from the floor. We were still growling at Bethany who is a pain in the ass. Tae left after helping us so did Jadiel and me, we didn't want to provoke Axel to scold us because of her.
