Chapter 11

Taelyn's POV

I woke up feeling rested and warm. There was an arm that had me snugged to them. I opened my eyes, noticing Eden right next to me. His demeanor was more relaxed. He had a smile on his face unlike when he's awake and has that Resting b***h Face. I laugh internally. I had the urge to use the restroom, but Eden just embraced me tighter. At some point I thought I was going to pee myself. I kissed his mark. It looked beautiful. He groaned, while his eyes snapped opened. I took advantage of the opportunity and rushed to the bathroom. "Where are you going?" Eden groaned. I made it safely to the bathroom. I felt relieved.

"I had to use the restroom and you wouldn't let me." I said coming out of the bathroom. Eden chuckled. He stood up from the bed in all his naked glory. The next thing I know I'm over his shoulder with him groaning.

"You are going to be the death of me." He muttered, going into the bathroom. He put me down and got the water running.

"Excuse you, are you trying to imply that I smell." I taunted. I glared at him.

"No, but you were fully ravished last night, and we do need to go back to your house soon." Eden emphasized. Oh goddess. Everyone at home is going to know that I was fully marked and mated. I groaned. "Now, lets get cleaned up." He continued, helping me into the shower. The hot water felt so good when it touched my skin. Eden wasn't so content with the water temperature though. I tried turning around and my butt touched his little but not so little friend. Suddenly he was kissing my neck with my back against his chest. It felt so amazing. I could not get enough of him. Three hours later we had gone like 4 more rounds.

"I'm exhausted." I murmured. I couldn't keep my eyes opened. I heard a soft knock in the distance, and I felt Eden shuffling in the bed.

"Love, you need to change so we can go back." I waved my hand at him to dismiss him. "Come on, honey, put your clothes on." I groaned, covering myself with the duvet. Eden chuckled and began to dress me. Ten minutes later I was fully dressed. I opened my eyes abruptly.

"How did you get our clothes?" I asked. I don't remember him leaving. Then I remember the small soft knock.

"Gabriel." He uttered. Oh my goddess Gabriel knows and I'm pretty sure everyone knows now. Eden extended his hand and I held on to it lifting me up from the bed. We walked outside to get into the vehicle. Gabriel was standing there, staring at me with his I know what happened face. I glared at him which made Eden chuckle. "Gabriel, don't upset my mate." Eden implored, holding his smirk back. Gabriel got in the back of the SUV. Eden opened my door and I got in. Eden closed my door and then walked around the vehicle to get in. Apparently, we were two hours away. Five minutes in and I was knocked out. "Darling, we are here." Eden whispered. I fluttered my eyes getting accustomed to the light.

"Someone had a great time last night." Gabriel teased. I was about to say something when Eden opened my door. He helped me out of the Yukon. I became nervous.

"It's going to be okay, love." Eden stated, sensing my tension. I know none of this happened traditionally however how could it if it all began the nontraditional way when that mutt rejected me. I nodded and we headed to the door. We went inside and everyone had decided to be in the living room to torture me.

"Well good morning, love birds." Nic was the first one to say something.

"We are finally blessed with your presence." Jake laughed. Suddenly, everyone had something to say.

"Leave them alone." My father ordered. Everyone chuckled, probably because my face is the color of a tomato. "They just found each other, don't you remem..." My father stopped mid-sentence, staring at my neck. "Taelyn, what is the meaning of that?" My father asked pointing at my neck. Eden's hold tightened around my waist. Everyone was now staring at my neck. I heard everyone gasp. I was about to answer when Eden spoke first.

"Sir, I understand I did not ask for your permission to mark her, however I assure you it all has an explanation." Eden stated. "I was not planning on marking her without your consent especially without marrying her first, simply I did not have the chance to stop my wolf when he felt that Taelyn's safety was at risk." He continued.

"What are you talking about, Alpha?" Jadiel asked.

"Well, when we were at the cabin, we heard some noise outside and it sensed that someone was staring at us. My wolf smelled a familiar scent, and it just took over before I had a chance to react and marked her." Eden stated.

"Who was it?" My father growled. My mother put her hand on my father's back to try to sooth him.

"Axel." Eden hissed. Everyone was in shock. "I don't understand why he's so obsessed with my mate." He growled. Everyone's eyes were on me. Thanks for everything, Eden. I sigh.

"I do not know either." I lied. "Either way I understand that Eden did not mark me according to our tradition, however nothing has been done the traditional way since I was rejected." I grumbled. "I don't understand why its so hard to understand that I want to feel loved and wanted after my rejection. My wolf wasn't going to wait for all the traditional ways." I added. It was true ever since we found out that Eden was our second chance mate, she wasn't happy about me telling Eden that I had to feel swept off my feet. She wanted to pounce at him in the forest as soon as he said that he was our mate. "I was the one who wanted to take things slow, on the other hand Ava was ready to take Eden right there and then." I overshared. Eden grinned. Jake and Jadiel covered their ears. My mother and Nicole giggled. My father was in shock.

"I guess I wouldn't understand what that feeling is." My father said, beaming at my mother lovingly. "I'm sorry I overreacted honey, I was just surprised to see his mark on your neck and how your smell changed." He added, I groaned. Put me out of my misery. My brothers grumbled covering their ears. Jadiel's phone began ringing.

"Hello." Jadiel answered. "Yes, she's back." There was only one person who could be questioning him about me without him getting all defensive. "Yes, I'll let her know." He stared at me. "Alright, bye." Jadiel put his phone away. He let out a breath pressing the bridge of his nose with his fingers. "Axel wants to speak to you." I arched an eyebrow. I knew there was more. "He's fuming for some reason." I held back my chuckle. I knew why he was fuming; he probably felt the marking and the mating last night.

"I guess, I'll go see what he wants." I was about to exit out the door when Eden grabbed my hand.

"We'll go with you either way we have to get some stuff from the pack house." Eden stated. Gabriel, Luke, Tyler, Eden, and myself exit my parents' home. When we got there, Axel, was outside waiting for me. Fuming did not properly describe how mad he was. We got off the vehicle and he was glaring at everyone.

"Taelyn, I need to speak to you in private." He said, sizing up Eden and the guys. I nodded at them, and they went inside the house. "How dare you." Axel growled. He got close to me and noticed his eyes shift between his and his wolf. "Why would you let that bastard mark you." He continued.

"More like how dare you." I fumed. My blood was boiling. "Why can't you leave me alone. You lost me along time ago, Alpha, or should I remind you the time you rejected me and then claimed Bethany." I sneered.

"I told you to stay with me we could have been together." He sighed.

"You wanted me to be your mistress while you played house with your choice mate? You have some balls, Axel." I snapped. "What would have my parents and brothers think of your idea of having me as your mistress?" I stared at him. "Or you wanted me to not tell anyone while you give them all a fake happy life you are leaving, and I stay on the side seeing how you and Bethany stay together." I was shaken.

"Well, if you are not mine, you are not going to be his." He hissed.

"Are you saying you are going to kill me?" I shuddered.

"No, but I'll make you mine. I wouldn't be able to live without you." He whispered.

"Why don't I just tell my family and your father how you rejected me for Bethany." I hinted. I heard a growl from the door. I stared at Eden in fear. Oh no, now he knows. In a heartbeat Eden was in front of me glaring at Axel.

"So, you are the mutt that rejected my precious mate." Eden hissed. "You are a dead wolf, fucker. The help that I was going to provide you is gone." He added. I placed my hand on his shoulder looking at him. I couldn't let him do that my family lives here. I could not jeopardize their safety for this inconsiderate ex-mate. Axel eyes widened; he knew he was done once Eden took away all the help.

"You can't do that." I pleaded. "My family lives here, what about them?" I whimpered.

"Why are you begging him when I'm your Alpha." This lout has the audacity to say that.

"You are not my Alpha.?" I growled. "An Alpha doesn't stand behind all his warriors frightened to get his pretty little hands hurt while his ex-mate almost gets killed." I huffed. "An alpha does not repeatedly hurt a pack member knowing damn well what he can do to her." I continued.

"Taelyn, enough." Axel growled.

"Did you feel the pain yesterday when Eden marked me and thoroughly ravished me?" I asked. Axel eyes filled with hurt. "That's not even half of the pain I endured before Eden appeared. I went days even weeks without eating or sleeping because I had to live with the pain on my own." I remembered every night crying because I couldn't tell anyone that I had been rejected by our Alpha. "How I had to lie to my family about why I was in the state that I was and who was the asshole that rejected me. I couldn't tell anyone because knowing them they could have gotten themselves killed for disrespecting our beloved Alpha. I couldn't allow them to do that to themselves so what did I do? I stayed quiet. I suffered on my own. I lived every day seeing how you lived your life with your mate, while I died inside slowly, until Eden showed up that day." I continued. "So now you want to tell me that I can't be happy with my mate because you want to claim me without actually claiming me." I divulged. "Well, no Axel you could keep your stupid claim and shove it up your ass." I growled. Axel tried to lung at me, but Eden stopped him with a growl.

"You have 10 minutes to get off my property disrespectful mutt." Axel glared at me then at Eden. Eden smirked.

"Gladly." Eden emphasized. I began to hyperventilate. What in the hell possessed me to speak to Axel like that? Eden grabbed my hand dragging me to my parents' home. How in the hell am I going to tell my family that I just got kicked out by our precious Alpha because I kept running my mouth like if I was immortal. When my parents' home came to view, I began to giggle. "Are you okay, love?" Eden inquired, as he stared at me. I nodded.

"I don't know why I kept running my mouth." I stated. "Why didn't you stop me?" I asked, remembering the amusement in Eden's face. "What am I going to tell my family?" I asked, panicking.

"Love, relax everything is going to be fine. Either way you were leaving with me to my pack soon." Eden pulled me closer to him. He tried to go into the house, and I just stood there, wasting precious minutes. I finally gave in and went inside. Everyone was having a great time probably still gossiping about my love life. Everyone snapped their eyes towards us, and tears just began to flow down my cheeks.

"What's wrong Tae?" Jake asked. I couldn't stop my tears.

"Axel." I said through tears. "He kicked me out of the pack." I blurted out.

"What." My father roared. "Why did he do that?" He said dashing to the door.

"Wait." I implored. I couldn't have my father killed because of me. "It was my fault." I uttered.

"No, it wasn't." Eden growled. "It was his own doing. That mutt had that and more coming for doing what he did to Taelyn." I panicked. I stared at Eden imploring for him to not tell them.

"What is he talking about?" Jadiel urged.

"For what he did yesterday." I quickly scoffed. "I want you all to let this go. This was my own doing therefore I don't want any of you getting hurt because of me." I continued. "I'll be leaving with Eden and you all can always go visit me." We heard the doorbell. My heart began beating extremely fast. My father opened the door and I felt relieved when I saw Taylor, Gabriel, and Luke.

"Everything is packed in the Yukon, waiting on you boss." Luke stated. I looked at every one and I knew I was going to miss them.

"I need to grab some stuff before we go." I said, heading towards the stairs. My mother, Nicole, and Adanelly followed me. As we headed upstairs all the men went into my father's office. I came out of my room to get something when I heard the door. I walked downstairs not trying to get to the door, but I eventually did. I slowly opened the door and saw Axel standing there staring at me. Did I go over the 10 minutes? I probably did and he is here to banish me from this world forever.

"Tae, I'm so sorry about what I said earlier." He muttered. "I didn't mean what I said but jealousy got the best of me." He continued. No, he doesn't get to do this. He doesn't get to dictate what is okay and what is not even if he's an Alpha.

"No, Axel, we can't continue playing this game." I replied. "Someone is going to get burnt and that won't be me. You said what you said and I'm following your wish I just needed to say goodbye to my family." I mumbled.

"Please, Tae, don't go. I need you to stay here with me." Axel pleaded.

"Are you going to tell my family that you are the one who rejected me?" I c****d an eyebrow. I knew damn well that he wasn't going to say anything to anyone.

"You know I can't do that; I have a commitment with Bethany and my son." Axel sigh. I knew it he is the same coward he has been since he found out I was his mate.

"Then there's nothing else to discuss, keep your choice mate and leave me alone. You've done enough and you will never have the balls to admit to my family that you rejected me." I growled.

"What!" My father growled. "You are the pup that rejected my daughter?" My father questioned. "What kind of Alpha are you? Does your father know about this?" My father took a dangerous step towards Axel, and I had to step in front of him before he got himself in trouble. At this point everyone was heading towards us.

"What's going on?" My mother inquired.

"You have no right to treat my daughter the way you did. I'll make sure your father and mother hear about this." My father continued.

"Stay out of this, Max, if you want to stay in this pack." Axel growled.

"Don't you dare." I growled at Axel. Eden pulled me towards him.

"I'm the Alpha of this pack and I get to decide what is best for it. That includes my choice of mate, Max." Axel sneered. Everyone caught on to what was going on. I was trying to avoid a blood bath all these years for everything to go down the drain because of my stupid ex-mate. "If one of you doesn't like it then there's the door, I won't stop you." Axel continued.

"Stop." I yelled. "I'm leaving like you requested now leave them alone. Don't punish them for my disgrace of being your mate. They'll continue their life with the pack, and I'll be gone." I sigh.

"Your time has been up, leave or you'll regret it." Axel growled before leaving my parents' home.

"All this time, the mutt that rejected you has been under our nose." Jake roared.

"I don't have time to discuss this anymore." I said, remembering Axel's words. "We have to go, please do not do anything stupid." I stared at Jake. "Nic don't let Jadiel do anything stupid either and Mom please take care of my dad." I began sobbing.

"I can't stay here after what happened." Jadiel stated.

"Neither can I." Jake roared. "What kind of twin would I be if I stayed under the orders of that stupid mutt." My life and their life took an unexpected turn, and I was the only one to blame.

"I can't let you all throw your life away like that." I sobbed. Eden seemed like he was mind-linking someone.

"We don't care, Tae. We cannot forget and stay here after everything." My father uttered. What are they going to do? If it was up to me, I would take them to Eden's pack with me but I'm not Luna yet so I cannot decide on that. Eden cleared his throat.

"You all are more than welcomed to join my pack." I stared at Eden. He better not be lying to me. "I'm sure Tae is going to be ecstatic to have everyone with her at our pack. I Jumped in excitement thankfully Eden held me if not I would have fallen on my ass.

"We have to get going but we will wait for you all at the border." I stated, grabbing my bag from Nic. "Diesel that includes you."
