Jake's POV I finally got her to drink some water. She still has not eaten, and seems to have lost weight because of it. A week has passed and Jessica is finally out of the infirmary but hasn't been able to provide anymore information. I have asked she come see Marlene but Rick won't let her, too afraid Marlene may try to hurt her again. Derrick has been searching for answers to 'flip the switch' back on in Marlene, but those two pieces of sh*it haven't said much more. I am sitting in the room with Mar when a soft knock is heard at the door. Before I could get up to answer it, it slowly started to open. "Jake? are you there?" Jessica's voice is but a whisper.
