Grace He was propped up against the base of the counter. His shirt was covered in blood, he as pale, his eyes were closed, his jaw was clenched. His hand was pressed to his stomach, right between his floating ribs where blood seeped through his fingers as he tried to breath steadily. There was a huge stain on the carpet where he fell and bloody handprints along with a trail leading to where he was sitting now. I didn’t know what to do.
