The Trial Marriage: An Unexpected Fate

CHAPTER 5

Night.

  It was the first night of their married life. Mia was quite uncomfortable due to the sudden change. She was feeling uneasy when she thought that she and Mr. Scott have to share a bed. But there's no way to back off. It's the way she chose herself. She was already married and it’s a common think to sleep together. So, it's useless to think now.

    It's the main bedroom, the master bedroom, the room was huge and well decorated. Mia was on the soft and comfortable bed. She was nervous. Few times later there was a slight knock on the door and the door was opened. It was Mr. Scott. Although she expected him still when she saw him, she became more nervous. She tried hard to stay normal. Who knows he noticed her nervousness or not. He came to Mia's side and said "Why are you still awake? It’s already late."

"I..." Mia tried to say something but she doesn't know what she should say exactly. Should she tell him the truth that she could't sleep because she is nervous that she have to share a bed with him. And she doesn't want this actually she is not mentally prepared for this. And she need some time. But how could she tell him about this all of a sudden. So she chose to be stay quite.

"Go to sleep." Andrew said with his attractive voice.

   Mia nodded her head but still stuck on the bed. He was staring at her. She became too nervous by his staring. How could a person made her this much nervous just by starring, Mia thought in her mind.Few seconds later he suddenly approached towards her, she panicked and immediately closed her eyes. Later she was puzzled... because nothing happened. Then she slowly opened her eyes just to see what's going on. And when Mia opened her eyes, she saw Mr. Scott standing in front of her with a pillow in his hand. There was a faint smile on his lips.

"What?" Mr. Scott raised his eyebrows and asked with his sexy voice.

"Ah... nothing." Mia shook her head and said. Mia was all embarrassed. Mia's face became all red due to this sudden embarrassment. She did't have any courage to look at Mr. Scott, so she held her head down and didn't look up at Mr. Scott at all.

There was a long silent after this.

"Well, I'm going to another room to sleep." Mr. Scott broke the awkward silence and said this.

"If you need anything you can call me."

"O..okay." Mia nodded her head and replied.

Then he left the room.

After he left Mia closed the door immediately and sighed.

Again, she sat on the bed. "God...what you think all day long Mia Swift.." Mia said to herself.

 Mia thought he was going to kiss her but it turned out that he approached towards her because his pillow was next to her. Andrew Scott left the bedroom to leave Mia alone in the room which impressed Mia. Well Mia didn't expect him to do this. So she became a quite impressed on him. 

"Well.. that's a relief." Mia said to herself and sighed in her heart.

Mia lay down on the big bed, it was really very soft and comfortable. It didn't take long for Mia fall asleep on the soft and comfortable bed.

 Next morning when Mia woke up it was 7 O'clock by the sound of her alarm clock. After cleanup she opened the door and saw a well dressed  maid was standing there, it was like she was waiting for Mia. When the maid saw Mia came out, she immediately greeted her with a smile.

"Good morning, Miss." She bowed to Mia and greeted her politely.

"Good morning!" Mia also replied with a polite smile.

"Miss, Sir is waiting for you in the breakfast table." She said.

"Please come with me."

"Okay." Mia replied and follow her lead.

The maid leaded her the way to the breakfast table. Mr. Scott was sitting on the main chair; his face was fully covered by the newspaper. The maid leads me to the chair next to him.

   When Mia took her seat, Mr. Scott put down the newspaper and looked at her.

 "Good morning!" Andrew first greeted Mia.

"Good morning... Mr. Scott." Mia also replied him with a sweet smile.

"Did you sleep well last night? “he asked.

"Yes, I did." Mia nodded.

   In between their conversation the breakfast arrived. It was another maid who prepared the table for us. Mia wonder how many workers are there in this mansion. The size of the mansion is huge. The total area of this mansion is ten times bigger than the house where Mia used to live.

   Several dishes are served, she ate peacefully although the dishes were not her type.

After breakfast they headed to their destination. Mr. Scott gave Mia lift to her company because her company was in the way to Coscott company. Mia's company is a small company, in front of the Coscott company her company is nothing. But still she loves her company and job. Because this company helped her a lot when she was just a nobody in this country.
