Chapter 10: Celebration

Anna Pov

I am so happy because Leo won the game. I am getting ready for the after party which always happens after the match. This time it’s in club, I didn’t want to go but Leo convinced me to go with him. I agreed because I know he will be with me.

I am getting ready in my favorite silver dress. A knock sounded on my door followed by the voice of Leo.

“Are you ready Anna?” he asked.

“Yup just one minute” I replied.

I opened the door and went out my room.

“You are looking gorgeous my girl” he complimented me making me blush.

“My girl?” I asked raising my eyebrow trying to hide my flushed face.

“Yup. My girl, because today in the party you are going as my date. After all I don’t want any guy to flirt with my little princess” he said with half mestivious look but there is a concern in his eyes.

“Thank you. Let’s go” I said changing the topic.

We reached the club and it was full of our school students, loud music was blasting. Everyone is dancing, chatting, flirting and busy in themselves. Leo put his hand on the small of my back possessively, escorting me. He ordered two mocktails for us. We were talking, laughing and dancing enjoying ourselves. Leo’s teammates were coming greeting us and talking. Someone came from Leo’s team telling him that his coach is looking for him. He didn’t want to go leaving me all alone but I assured him that I will be fine sitting on a seat and he should go. After all it’s not good to ignore a teacher.

I sat on the stool and ordered the same drink Leo ordered for me earlier. I was passing my time looking at my surroundings when the bartender came to me with my drink. But this time the drink was tasting a bit different, but I didn’t focused on it that much and drank the whole glass. After some time I started feeling a bit lightheaded. I didn’t know what was happening to me so I took my phone out of my clutch and started calling Leo.

Suddenly someone pulled me in a corridor like place. That place was smelling a bit odd. The person was saying something but I didn’t get a word he said. I was just able to tell that he was trying to touch me in inappropriate way. I tried to push him away but it was like my hands were not working.

“L…L..Leave M..Me” I uttered with great difficulty but it came out so low. I wanted to shout and beat that man but it was like my body was not working.

‘Where are you Leo?’ I thought and uttered “L..Leo h..help”.

It was like someone heard my voice because that man was pulled away from me and I heard some sound which sounded like fighting.

Suddenly someone hugged me close to his chest, my instinct told me to fight. But the comfort in the hug told me that this man was my Leo.

‘Leo you came’ was the last words I thought before losing consciousness.
