"Sorry for not telling you big brother." Anan said. "I thought that we can hide this from you, but the fact that someone from Aldaw will show up earlier." Ester explained. "Adlaw? Sorry, I'm getting confused." I said. "I'm sorry big brother, but father told us to keep this from you. People from Aldaw are like our sworn enemies. They worship the Sun God, Apolaki." Anan said. "But I thought that Apolaki and Mayari are both on the same team, like in the stories you told me." I said. "Yes, but it's different for us. Centuries have passed, tribes from the five pillars lived in harmony. To cut the story short, the Sun-born people got greedy with power. Two tribes perished in their search for power that caused both to disappear from history." Ester said. "The Star guided people and the Morning children were those tribes that vanished in civilization. It caused a rift between the remaining clans." Anan continued. "According to the report, people from Adlaw were the ones who attacked you during the selections. They saw two hooded figures wearing the symbol from their tribe." Anan said. "Why would they attack me? I don't have blessings as you said." I asked. "That's what our father is still looking into." Anan answered. "Okay, I understand now. I will listen to what you say." I assured my siblings. "Big brother, we have another problem." Ester said. "Another problem?" I looked at them, puzzled. The two nodded in unison. Rumors spread like wildfire. Everyone was talking about the incident earlier. The fact that I am powerless before and being able to cast a huge spell. Other people won't believe that I was able to do such things. - Apolaki's Shrine, Adlaw. "I heard that the Descendant of Mayari has awakened." The man in his forties said. "Yes, father. I saw it with my own eyes. The sigil of the Moon Goddess appeared on him." The man with Golden eyes answered. "How about the Night's fall?" the man asked. "I saw it in his possession, but the orb is missing." "You must take down the Moon Symphony at once before he fully awakens, or we can't fulfill our ancestors wish." The old man ordered. "Yes, father. I will." The younger man bowed. "Good, if you need to kill him, do not hesitate Apo." Kill. - "Another problem?" I asked. "Yes, big brother." Anan answered. Anan explained to me that the rumor has reached an extent that everyone was talking about. Most people believe that I am the successor of Mayari. What our father feared is that the news will reach the neighboring clans. I will be targeted by assassins and try everything to kill me. That's how harsh the leader of Adlaw is. They want to stop the other tribes to overpower them. Our father also told Anan that they need to confirm if I was chosen by the Moon Goddess. He was instructed to bring me to the oracle at the Mourning Valley. The oracle that lived there serves as the guardian that will determine if the chosen warriors awakened. He serves as the medium that connects the mortal world to God's realm. We need to set off for the journey in a few days. We decided to call it a day. I told my sibling to rest and not to worry about me. I fell asleep as soon as I closed my eyes. A few moments later, I woke up in a familiar place. I am back at the Mayari's realm, but she is nowhere to be seen. I looked around but she is not still there. I decided to walk towards the tree and sat down. Where could she be? "Looking for me, Ayari? Or should I still call you Peter?" she smiled. "You can call me anything you want." I answered, showing a grumpy expression. "I know you have a lot of questions, and I'm sorry for not answering. But I'm glad that you were safe." Mayari said. "Thank you. I know that you were the one that helped me when I was attacked by those bullies." I said and relaxed my face. "It's okay. Since I was the one who brought you here, consider me as your guardian." Mayari said. 'Thank you so much." I said and smiled. "I called you here because I have something important to tell you." She said. "Important?" "Yes, honestly, the seal that trapped the evil king is weakening. I need you to find the remaining descendants and the relics. You already have my weapon and my blessings." She explained. "But how do I find them?" I asked. "I'll give you this. Two days from now there will be a full moon. Open the locket while facing the moon." Mayari instructed. Mayari handed the pendant to me. It was covered with diamonds and topaz. The pattern was the same as her ornaments, moon like. "Okay, I will. Thank you Mayari." I said. Mayari moved closer to me and kissed my forehead. I was surprised by what she did. She just smiled while I gave her a puzzled look. "Time's up. Be safe, my warrior." Mayari said. "Wait, Mayari! I still have questions." I said but no voice came out from my mouth. I felt drowsy after she said that. I feel like I was drifting away and returned to deep sleep.
