The Hybrid's Dangerous Thirst

Braelyn's mother was surprised to see her daughter talking like a mature one at such a small age. Her heart crumbled realising that her little girl was growing up a bit faster than she must because of the things she has been going on through in her life.

But, she smiled looking at her. At least she isn't like her. She is better than her. When she grows up she would definitely not live the life she is living right now. She will definitely find a man who deserves her and live a happy life with her family. She trust her daughter to make the right choice unlike her.

Both the ladies before Braelyn were touched by her words. It is rare to see any five-year-old kid to be talking like this. And just through the words she was speaking, her mother was proud of her.

“Braelyn, I give you my words baby,” mother held both her hands in her hands as she smiled to her and continued to speak out her heart. “I won't be a bad mother. I won't do anything that breaks your heart or make you suffer. I will do my best to work on making your life better than what it is now.”

But deep inside her heart she was afraid that what she saying, she won't do it. She was afraid that she will break her promise to her daughter and that will break her.

Braelyn smiled and cupped her mother's face. She dragged her out from her thoughts as she spoke up. “Mom, just stay with me always. I don't need anything else except for you. You are the only best thing in my life that makes my life better. I'm happy with you momma!”

Braelyn quickly pulled her mother into a tight hug after saying that. She made her mother and the young lady cry with her words as she hugged tight to her mother. She was afraid of what her life would be without her mother by her side. Because all of her life she found her every time she was in need.

The lady wiped her tears and took a deep breath. She didn't expect this all to go much emotional.

The mother got a slight feeling in her mind too about what if someday she has to separate from her daughter. Will she be able to live without her? because her life was never this peaceful as it is now since the day she has born.

Both the mother and daughter were so lost into their emotional thoughts that they ignore and forgot about the young lady standing behind them.

But she cleared her throat as she has not much time to deal with this mother daughter talks and quickly go later to her next work too.

“So, when are you making your daughter sign the exclusive contract with us?” the young lady spoke up dragging their attention to her finally and continued with the topic she came here to talk about. “It will be even better if you come with me now and sign it," she offered to the mother and daughter who cluelessly glanced at each other.

Braelyn's mother has recently heard a lot about such agencies hiring the kids and then training them but put a lot of pressure to them. She was afraid if it will affect Braelyn's health and didn't wanted to let her go.

“Actually, Braelyn is a shy girl, she won't get along well before the camera and an unknown group of people,” her mother explained. “But you offered her something, thank you for that.”

“Yes, thank you for asking for this opportunity but I don't think I to be doing it well,” Braelyn added with her mother.

The lady looked at her guard standing by the car who ran towards her as soon as possible.

“Why is she rejecting this offer?” the lady thought in her mind.

The lady looked at them and added, “Don't worry it mostly happens to many children but once you get into it you will love this.” She tried her best to make them sign it. But they had some other plans in their mind.

“I'm sorry Ms, but I want to be something else,” Braelyn denied her once again. “I want to work on my dream as I grow up!”

“Oh really? is it singing?”

“No, I want to work in a big hotel,” she answered. “Imagine how fun it will be to work in a big hotel where you can eat special food and gets to stay in a big room with a big bed,” she giggled in her innocent soft voice.

“Do you mean to be a hotel manager?” she smiled shakily glancing at her guard. “she wants to manage a big hotel," she said to him.

The guard smiled back shakily at her before glancing back at the girl. Managing the hotel reminded them both about something else.

However, they ain't here to force them to sign the contract and end up in their company. But it was something they really hoped to work out in the end.

“Fine, if you like it truly then I don't have any right to deny you from choosing this path and stop you from doing what makes you happy,” the lady said to Braelyn. I hope you find me to be the one helping whenever you are in need. Do what you like Braelyn."

The lady patted on the top of her head before stepping back from her. She finally gave up on her.

“I have never met any kid like you ever before. Your mother is so lucky to have you in her life,” the lady smiled warmly. “Your mother doesn't need to pay me for what she has stolen,” she looked at her mother who stood surprised before she looked at Btaekyn. “Happy Birthday.”

“What?” the mother choked for air.

“Are you okay mom?” Braelyn asked in concern looking up at her quickly.

“Yeah, I'm fine. But,” she looked at the tall lady. “you really don't want me to pay you back?” she was amazed. No one has ever let her go before after she was caught stealing money.

The lady shook her head. “It was nice meeting you both. Hope you get to your home safely.”

The Lady ended up with a smirk when her eyes caught a man with a hat standing behind a tree far from them.

“Ms Fairy, it was nice meeting you too,” Braelyn thanked her making the lady look back at her. Braelyn said as she made her mother stand back in her place and hold her hand. “Let's go, mom.”

“Thank you ms!”

The mother thanked the lady too and later both mother and daughter walked out of the park to go back home while the lady looked at them walking away.

However, the young lady stood beside her car and watched both mother and daughter walking away crossing the road and nothing happened to any of them. She was surprised by that. Also, she searched around to see the man in a hat she saw earlier but he was nowhere to be seen in that place.

“Strange,” she mumbled quizzically. “Something is weird going on today. Might be the fortune lady is suddenly making changes in someone's life. But why?” she asked herself.

The young lady was tensed up thinking about fortune which was suddenly changing in both mother and daughter's lives. The time when something big was going to happen was already passed by now and everything was still fine.

“Shall we go to meet her tonight, mam?” her guard asked her.

“Yes, I need to talk to her as soon as possible. She can not let death change its path like this, this will affect the future of everyone. The grim reaper was waiting and now he is disappeared too,” the lady quickly sat into her car as her guard sat too and drive off towards the fortune lady.

You might be thinking about who the fortune lady is. The fortune lady is someone you call lady luck. When she is by your side, everything goes well. She writes your fortune and can change it if she wants unless it's for the betterment of that person.

She has the responsibility to take every decision and write systematically the fortunes of everyone from the day they are born to the day they die. It depends on the files she receives from the afterlife about the person's previous life.

She never makes any mistakes, but if she does someday then in the afterlife kings have the right to punish her. Likewise, there are many other immortal life registration offices secretly running in every corner of the world for every nation.

Human birth and death before getting registered to their government offices, it already gets registered years ago in the registered office of the hidden world. As it is mentioned already, they run the human world too while living with humans and humans don't even recognise them.

Meanwhile, both mother and daughter reached their home safely. While Braelyn was happy with the big chocolate bar in her hands, her mother was still regretting not giving her daughter any gifts, thus on her way home she planned something.

“Baby? I will be going out for work tonight and coming late at night okay? Don't open the door for anyone unless it's me, okay?” the mother explained to her daughter and she nodded.

“Momma will make food for you and make sure you fall asleep before I go. Don't be scared, you will find me beside you when you wake up, okay?” the mother ended up while hugging her daughter.

After eating the food together, she sat beside her daughter and kept patting her back until she fell asleep. The mother sighed in relief and walked out of the house carefully not waking up her daughter. She kept the lights on as her daughter is scared of darkness.

Somewhere in between the great city, there is located a small hotel not well known to humans. It is somewhere in the alleys of downtown, of the great city. There are just a few good humans who know about this hotel and has kept it as a secret throughout their lifetime. But, there are a few bad among good ones too for balancing the world.

Some of them learn about the hidden world and its great hotel as if it's a treasure hidden in a cave and then they begin to disclose the secrets of the hidden world to the human world.

The hidden world is kept as a secret for its and the human world's betterment. If any of the humans wish to go to find out the hotel on their own, with no invitations or with any bad intentions to harm the hotel then the curse is simple.

No matter how hard they try, they couldn't find it. And when it comes to a sinful human who tries to expose the entire hidden world purposely having no good intentions, then they are going to be punished for this.

But, there are some humans who find out about the hidden world and their secrets unknowingly. If they find that hidden world and the hotel not knowing which place is it, then there is something written for sure in their destiny with this place.

In the hidden world, this hotel holds many secrets and mysteries in it. It is supernatural in its own self choosing who her guests and staff must be. And the owner, he is her personal favourite.
