Islam is the religion of peace

The word 'Islam is a religion of peace' is very true and real. The naming of our religion Islam comes from the words salam and salam i.e. peace. Salam is the identity and symbol of this religion. Peace is its call and way. This is the religion of peace which Allah has chosen for His servants. ‘Today I have perfected your religion for you, completed My obligation to you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.’ [Surah Al-Maidah: 03] The last Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the last of all the Prophets, was the standard bearer of peace and tranquility. He had a standard and circumcision, he would remind his ummah as soon as he finished his prayer, peace is a blessing of Allah and it is expected and given by Allah. That is why he used to return the salutation Allahumma antas salam wa minkas salam, tabarakata ya jal-jalali wal ikram. Meaning: O Allah! You are peaceful, peace descends from you. Blessed are you, O Mighty and Mighty. '[Muslim 1/216, Abu Dawood 1/221, Tirmidhi 1/6] The Qur’an says, ‘O you who believe! Enter Islam wholeheartedly and do not follow in the footsteps of Satan. Surely he is your open enemy. '[Surat al-Baqara: 208]   It is the duty of the believer to enter Islam fully and to be a novice in practicing and spreading the correct teachings and rules of Islam in all spheres of life. Then, by the will of Allah, there will be complete peace in our lives and the truth and correctness of the word Islam, the religion of peace, will be reflected in reality. Anyone who reviews the life of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) will see that his call was for peace and peace. Before and after the Prophet hood, the main and foremost desire of his life was peace and salutation. He participated in the early stages of life in establishing good character, connecting people to people and establishing peace in society through helping the oppressed. Participated in the establishment of Hilful Fuzul. Similarly, even after prophet hood, he wanted only one thing - kindness and tenderness, peace and peace. His call and attraction is only towards all these. ‘I have sent you as a mercy to the worlds.’ [Surah Ambiya: 107]
