Chapter 4

Natalia's alarm buzzed and marked 6:30 am, she slowly got up and walked out to the hallway and knocked on Ramos's door waking him up. Natalia then goes to the bathroom to start to get ready for her interview.

You see an overview of Natalia and Ramos getting ready, eating their breakfast and coffee. They arrived at the underground parking of The Company, Natalia takes out her makeup bag and starts applying it, while Ramos goes over the files.

"You have an interview today with Robert West, he is the wingman of the new CEO Elena Chester" Ramos said.

"Urghh.. I hate putting on makeup, I know Ramos" Natalia said trying to apply some mascara and failing miserably.

"Remember they are going to be very picky about this position due to all the problems they have been having with their previous employees for this position" Ramos said serious.

"I know Ramos I got this" Natalia said while finishing her makeup "How do I look?" Natalia said as she smirked at him.

Ramos stares at her from top to bottom noticing how beautiful Natalia is and even more now with her pencil grey skirt and white button blouse with a silk red and grey scarf her high heels. Her toned legs revealing a tattoo of butterflies on the back of her right calf. Her brunette hair in a messing bun with her black pasta frames glasses.

"I didn't know you have a tattoo?" Ramos sad while chuckling.

"I have a couple actually" She said smacking his shoulder.

"Well you look beautifully decent go get this job" he said while Natalia smiled and nodded.

Natalia got out of the car walking out of the parking and headed towards the main entrance of the building sighing and looking up at the big letters "The Company".

"Well here we go" she said to herself.

Walking in the building towards the information desk, there was a woman taking calls. She stepped close to the desk so she was in eye vision of the receptionist.

"Hello good morning, I'm Natalia Allen and I have an interview with Robert West?" Natalia said smiling showing her perfect smile.

The receptionist nodded and blushed and started typing in her computer. Natalia smirked and started to look around the lobby noticing the lobby area while waiting for the receptionist.

"Yes, Ms. Allen go towards the elevator to the 12th floor there should be a secretary in the lobby in that floor and she will direct you where to go" she said while pointing towards the elevators towards my right.

As Natalia walked in the elevators and waiting for her floor she started to feel a little nervous about the interview but she hid that feeling towards the back of my mind telling herself, "this is what you been waiting for a high undercover case". The elevator stopped at the 12th floor opening the doors, Natalia stepped out of the elevator heading towards the secretary’s desk.

"Hello good morning, my name is Natalia Allen and I have an interview with Robert West?" Natalia said.

She nods, and picks up her phone dialing an extension. Natalia observed her while she spoke.

"Mr. West, I have Natalia Allen for an interview? Ok sir." She says hanging up the phone she looks at me. "He should be with you momentarily you can sit in the waiting area" she said while she pointed towards the chairs in the lounge area.

Natalia nodded and thanked her and headed towards the lounge area, sat down in the couch as Natalia waited. About 5 minutes later a tall fit, muscular man arrives towards the secretary, they started talking briefly and then she pointed towards me. This was my cue to get up from the couch as the man walked towards me.

As he walked towards her, Natalia observed him and he was white skinned with blue piercing eyes, built clean cut. He was a handsome man as he reached Nataia and smiled handing his hands towards her.

"Hello, Robert West" he said as Nataia shook his hand.

"Natalia Allen, nice to meet you Mr. West" Natalia said observing him looking at me from head to toe, making me feel a little uncomfortable.

"Follow me please" he said as he smirked.

Natalia followed him through two glass doors observing the architecture around as she walked. Their futuristic paints all around the hallway as we walked. Reaching at the end of the hallway we arrived to two big dark wooden doors he opened them allowing me to step in, as she stepped in his office she noticed there was a woman leaning in front of the huge wooden desk in the middle of the office reading a file in her hand. She looked up and stared straight into Natalia’s eyes, she was mesmerized by her aqua greenish blue eyes Natalia took a moment to observe her and she was breath taking beautiful, as she stared at me with was what I can tell a polite fake smile and Natalia could not contain herself to look at her glossed plump lips then continued going down on her body which was just perfect, she had to stop herself and looked up at her eyes which were hypnotizing.

This woman was gorgeous ivory skin about 5'7 in height skinny but toned especially her legs Natalia observed as she walked towards her. She could not help herself being a bit intimidated by her but quickly pushed that thought away and remembered the purpose of this interview. She handed out her hand.

"Hello Ms. Allen I'm Elena Chester CEO of The Company, I will be assisting Mr. West with the interviews and selection process for the position chief supervisor for our programming and security systems, Please sit down" she said pointing towards an empty seat.

"Nice to meet you Ms. Chester" Natalia said as she sat in the chair Elena pointed at.

Natalia observed how she sat behind the desk, she looked mad or frustrated. Natalia saw Mr. West sitting down next to her as he leaned towards the desk picking up a file. He looked towards Natalia as Ms. Chester put her elbow on the desk putting her hands together just looking at Natalia.

"Well, Ms. Allen I have here that you graduated top of your class at MIT and for the past 4 years you have been working for Eastern Pacific Ports in Florida as Security, Networking and Programming there?" he said.

"That is correct Mr. West, I assisted them to build a new security system and created their programs" Natalia answered.

"Yes I spoke to your direct supervisor who had nothing but splendid things to say about you. My question is why you want to leave them?" Mr. West said.

"The reason for leaving is that I would like more experience in a bigger company where I can excel and gain more experience in a larger network environment. In addition I have heard great things about your company and that you are in need of a good programmer, which I am. In addition I have read about your problems in this department and I am certain that I can help or better yet fix it." Natalia said cockily and observed as Ms. Chester raised her eyebrow observing Natalia silently.

"Nice answer" Mr. West said in a flirting manner eyeing her.

"What makes you different from all the other interviewers that we have had?" Ms. Chester said cutting in a superior manner.

Natalia ignores momentarily Ms. Chester as she scans the room, as she looked around she notices two computers in a desk about 6 feet away from Ms. Chester desk. Then looks back at Ms. Chester directly in her eyes and smiles arrogantly.

"Are those company computers, I mean do they log in your server?" Natalia asked.

"Yes" Ms. Chester answers curiously looking at her.

"Can you log in and let me show you how different I am" Natalia said confidently.

Looking at Ms. Chester, Natalia noticed how she tightened her lips and briefly opening them as she quickly licked them. She closed them rapidly as she didn't want Natalia to notice and she briefly smiled at her. She got up from her desk with her serious look walking towards the desk with the computers and typed the password in one of them and gestured for me to sit down, giving me permission to browse in the computer. As Natalia sat down in front of the computer she started typing away opening and closing programs and going to their configuration to see any slight errors in their programming per say. It took me about 15 minutes to find the first error, which was child's play for Natalia.

The program was missing 4 commas, Natalia added the commas before she was about hit enter to reboot the entire network programs she looked at Ms. Chester and smiled eyeing her she observed a hint of blush very light on her cheeks and she dropped her gazed tightening her jaw and Natalia had her finger over the keyboard to press the "enter" button.

"Done" Natalia said.

"What do you mean done?" Mr. West said

"I fixed one of your problems in your main system program, where your program freezes when you click the tap button on your keyboard correct?" Natalia asked.

Mr. West nods as Ms. Chester is just observing Natalia and the whole conversation. So Natalia finally pressed the enter button and all the computers linked to this program, just shut down throughout the whole building shutting the two computers in front of me and the one on Ms. Chester desk. About 1 min later all the computers started up again. As this was happening there was a knock on the door. The secretary walks in.

"Sorry to interrupt sir but the computers are down and starting up again and everybody is calling that their systems went down." She said.

"It's alright go back to your desk, indicate that they should be restarting" Mr. West said and the secretary leaves the office.

"Mr. West go to the other computer and Ms. Chester you can go to the one I'm using" Natalia said as she got up and gestured her to sit in the computer. Our shoulders slightly brushed and all she could think to herself how this woman is so captivating.

"If you please both of you can press the tap button" Natalia said nodding to them to do so.

When they both press the tap button the computers didn't freeze and they were able to use the button normally as in any other programs or windows.

"As you can see the problem is fixed just a few commas misplaced in the configuration. What makes me different from all the other interviewers is that I haven't even begun to work for The Company and in less than 30 minutes I was able to save you about $5000 give or take, just imagine what I can save and fix working for you." Natalia said smugly and proud.

Natalia is walking out of the company as she walks towards the sidewalk a black SUV pulls up and Natalie gets in looking at the driver’s side seeing Ramos.

"So how did it go?" he asked.

"I got it" Natalia said smirking to him proudly.

Late that afternoon Ramos and Natalia are in the extra room in their apartment setting up a board on the wall. Natalia goes up to the computer and printer in the room and waits as two sheets of paper come out, she picks them up and heads to the board, taping them side by side you see a picture on each sheet and a name. Which read Elena Chester and Robert West with a picture above.
