Summoning the summoner

Why?

Eric sat on his favorite boulder staring at Lester. Lester looked at him blankly.

"I want someone else!" Eric stated. "Excuse me?" Lester replied.

"I want someone else or something else! There is no way that I was destined to have such a slowpoke as a companion. This matchup was a mistake GO AWAY!"

"Master Eric I assure you I was not chosen as a mistake. I was called upon personally by the almighty. I, like I said before could not make it to the portal in time so he was kind enough to help me get to you this morning." "Hmph" Eric huffed in annoyance "well I don't want you, go away! I'm gonna try and call another one!" "Okay" Lester replied and began to turn around. As he turned around he heard a whisper and replied: "Master Eric you needed something?" "NO GO AWAY" Eric snapped back. Lester tried to take another step and as he moved forward he felt a presence pulling at him "Master Eric are you sure you don't need my assistance?" "YEAH IM SURE STOP INTERRUPTING ME!" As Eric Snapped he threw a rock at Lester "GO AWAY"

Eric Pov

"Why does this sloth keep butting in! I'm trying to call something cool and he won't stop trying to cater to me! Maybe I've been whispering too loud.... I'll try saying it in my mind." ..............

"Master Eric" "UURRRRAAAAAAGGGHHHHH! WHAT THE HECK LESTER!!" "I ALREADY SAID I DONT WANT YOU AS MY COMPANION SO GO AWAY!"

and with that being said Lester cut his link off from Master Eric so that he would no longer hear him summoning him. As the day went on Lester sat on a boulder next to him watching his every attempt and every attempt ended with a fart sound. Eric was growing frustrated and snapped his attention at Lester. "Why are you still here? It's probably why no one is coming because you're still here!" "Master Eric as much as it pains me to whiteness your many failed attempts it would take me far too long to return to the summoners realm Also I was paired with you so leaving you isn't an option but I am helping you by cutting my link off from you so that you may summon as you please." Lester smiled as he finished his last sentence. Eric sighed in annoyance "I'm done I give up on trying to call another summon." "well master eric you did summon more than enough times today? I tried to save you the trouble but ..... you'll see tomorrow."

Eric began to walk towards the house then stopped remembering that Lester was still Back at the boulder. He walked up to Lester and turned his back towards him "Get on."

"master eric is so kind." "yeah hurry up before I change my mind and become unkind." Lester smiled and hopped on his Master's back happily.

Eric hobbled his way into the house as his siblings watched him. His sister still trying hard not to laugh at him and his brother Kai scoffed at him.

Mother came out of the kitchen into the living room "KIDS DINNER IS READY WASH UP AND COME EAT!"

Everyone flocked to the kitchen while Eric hobbled his way to the kitchen his legs shaking. He finally made it to the kitchen and set Lester down on one of the kitchen chairs. Mom already saw how tired Eric was so she quickly made a plate for him so he wouldn't have to carry anything.

Eric went to wash his hands and began to dig in. Before anyone could say anything Eric announced "I don't want to talk about my day with my summon so please don't ask questions" and with that, it was a very silent dinner.

After Eric put his plate away he turned his back towards Lester. "Get on" and hobbled his way up to his room. after he finished preparing for bed he bid Lester goodnight and went to sleep.

The next morning Eric woke up to a Heavy feeling on his chest. He could barely breathe and it felt like he was getting crushed. the weight was getting heavier and heavier by the min. When he was finally able to open his eyes it nearly popped out of its sockets "WHAT THE HECK!!!"
