The same man his mother loved dearly, he watched him put a silver blade through her heart and was laughing at her as she died.

For the part of while growing up without his mother, the people of the Black Saints pack made jest of him and mistreated him greatly. As a result of this, scott grew up hardened and cold. Chapter 1
In the dimly lit room, shrouded in an eerie atmosphere, Isabella Austin sits solemnly, her surroundings echoing with the ominous creak of the wooden floor and the persistent drip of rainwater from the leaky roof. The air is filled with the incessant squeaks of enormous rats scurrying about, though the room appears abandoned. Little does anyone know that this forsaken chamber is where Isabella has been confined by her own family. Isabella, an 18-year-old college student, possesses an enchanting allure with her luscious straight black hair that cascades down to her shoulders and her captivating hazel eyes. Her perfect heart-shaped lips used to brighten the room with a radiant smile, but lately, those smiles have become scarce. She has withdrawn from socializing and has been subjected to a life of torment and cruelty at the hands of her stepmother and stepsister. Isabella's mother had tragically passed away during childbirth, an occurrence that fills her father, David Austin, with anger and resentment. Sharing a college and the same level with her step-sister Hannah, Isabella endures constant persecution from her sibling. Unbeknownst to the rest of the family, Isabella dines alone in her room, isolated from the hypocrites who call themselves her family. The dining table has become a forbidden place for her, and she has accepted this cruelty as her norm. Solitude is preferable to enduring another moment with these wolves in sheep's clothing. Quite literally, they are not an ordinary family—they belong to the Eclipse pack, a family of werewolves who live amongst humans in the city of Kansas. "Bella!!! Where is that wretched child? Why must she make me strain my voice before she responds?" Rose Austin, Isabella's stepmother, exclaims with breathless frustration after an exhaustive search throughout the house. After several minutes, Rose heads to the balcony that overlooks the backyard garden, where she discovers Bella absorbed in her own world, earphones plugged in, and a novel in hand. "Stupid child! You've been sitting here, utterly useless... I've searched the entire house!" Rose berates her, her voice tinged with anger. "I'm so sorry... I... I didn't hear you call my name," Isabella trembles as she speaks, fully aware that her stepmother is a relentless tormentor who will seize any opportunity to create trouble. "My sweet, diligent Hannah is studying for the upcoming exams and deserves her rest. And here you are, pretending to read just to be lazy," Rose yells, her anger simmering. Panting heavily, she adds, "Do you really think I'll fall for your pretenses? If you believe you can evade your chores by pretending to read, you are sorely mistaken!" Rose then orders Isabella to return inside the house and clean the toilets, the rooms, and even Hannah's quarters. Isabella spends her day washing dishes, preparing dinner, and feeling the persistent tug of suicidal thoughts in her heart. Yet, she manages to maintain her composure. When the meal is finally ready, she sets it on the dining table, where her father, David, arrives home from work, casting a scornful gaze upon her. "What are you doing, contaminating my meal with those filthy hands?" he sneers, pointing disdainfully at her wet, moist fingers. "I'm sorry... so sorry, Father... I didn't mean to..." Isabella stammers, but David silences her with a simple raised hand. Bella silently wipes her hands on the apron she wears, retreating to her room with her portion of dinner on a tray. "Just another day in my normal life," Isabella whispers to herself as she hungrily devours it The piercing call of her name echoed through the vast corridors of the imposing mansion, jolting Isabella Austin from her uneasy slumber. With a sinking feeling, she knew all too well that it was Rose, her stepmother, summoning her for yet another round of arduous chores or mindless errands. Frustrated and filled with resentment, Bella grumbled and tossed about on her bed, the disarray of her once beautiful and elegant hair mirroring the chaos within her heart. Her delicate hands hurriedly attempted to tame the unruly tresses, smoothing them down against her scalp. "Let's go," she muttered bitterly to herself, forcing a strained smile to mask the true anguish that consumed her. In a fit of rage, Rose's face contorted with malice as her hand rose swiftly, colliding harshly with Isabella's soft cheek. The resounding clap echoed through the room, leaving a crimson mark as a testament to the brutality inflicted upon the innocent girl. Stunned and tearful, Isabella locked eyes with her stepmother, her voice trembling as she dared to question the cruelty bestowed upon her. "What have I done to deserve such treatment?" she implored, her words cut short by the uncontrollable rush of tears streaming down her cheeks. But mercy or pity were foreign concepts to Rose. Instead, she unleashed a torrent of scathing remarks, berating Isabella for her perceived shortcomings. "Don't you have dishes to wash? We're not your maids in this house, you know... You have to prepare the food and get ready for school!" With those callous orders, Rose turned her back, dismissing Isabella's anguish as she focused on attending to her favored child. Crushed, Isabella crumpled to her knees, her cries of despair echoing through the desolate corridors as her heart overflowed with sorrow. The tears eventually subsided, leaving Isabella's face dry and emotionless. Rising to her feet, she swallowed her pain and forced herself to resume the endless chores imposed upon her by her stepmother. Without respite or solace, she completed each task with robotic precision, her spirit battered but not broken. In a race against time, Isabella hurriedly readied herself for school, her mind so preoccupied with the mounting pressures of her household that she forgot to nourish her own body, forsaking breakfast in her haste. She darted towards her father's car, well aware of the consequences that awaited her if she dared delay him even for a moment. Climbing into the vehicle, she braced herself for the inevitable storm that awaited her. "Nice of you to finally show up after consuming a significant portion of my precious time. If I get sacked or face sanctions at the office, I'll be sure to hold you responsible," David, her father, threatened, his authoritative tone laced with an undercurrent of desperation. While he held a position of power as the acting manager of Sherlock Construction Agencies, he was still vulnerable as an employee, aware that his contract could be terminated at any moment. The burden of responsibility weighed heavily upon him. "I'm sorry, Dad. I had so much to..." Isabella's words were abruptly cut off as her father's voice boomed, drowning out any semblance of explanation. He berated her for her perceived carelessness, assigning blame for her sister's delayed preparations as well. Hannah, sitting quietly in the front seat, chuckled softly, fully aware of her father's favoritism. "You need not concern yourself with her, Dad. She'll only age you prematurely with her constant demands," Hannah chimed in, her voice dripping with superiority. David exhaled audibly before igniting the car's engine, propelling them out of the garage and straight to school. “Hello my little clumsy friend” Elizabeth said as she hugged Isabella from behind.
