"What is the latest development on the blood moon pack?"

"So far they have strengthen their defense and have had more training sessions."

"Hmmmm so Anthony think that will stop me from achieving my plans hahahaha how dumb can he be."

"So what do we do about that girl?"

"Were you able to find out who she is?"

"No my Lord she hidded her scent very well as well as her pack name but if I must say something, she isn't ordinary and my fear is that she might be her."

"Of course it can't, for if it was, you would have felt it and besides we do not know if it's a male or female but nevertheless keep digging we need to be sure she isn't of any trait to us."

"Of course my Lord I will. I will take my leave now." With that he left and another walked in smiling like he just won a trophy.

"So what's making my son this happy??

"Dad our plans are gradually falling into place. I managed to become friends with her and it's causing a rift between them."

"That's good news but remember it's not her we want she is just some weak werewolf it's Carl and Nathan we want and remember no falling for her it will ruin our plans.

"Of course Dad she is actually pretty no doubt but definitely not my speck besides she isn't my mate."

"That's good to know and by the way you need to know what they are up too and I have one more assignment for you."

"What could that be father?

"The werewolf that attacked your mates that faithful night I want you to find out who she is and from which pack she was born to?

"Okay but what is her name and is she of any trait to us??

"I have no clue about her name and if she could interfer in our plans then yes she is a trait and an enemy too."

"Okay father I will do just that but please excuse me I need to rest my head for tomorrow will be a hectic day. good night father."

■■ MIKE'S POV■■

"I got up as early as possible to prepare for school and once I was done I went downstairs for breakfast and later headed for school. I got to school and walked straight to class but she was no where in sight so decided to ask our classmates but since she wasn't the social type no one knew her whereabouts and of course I couldn't ask any of her brothers for they hate me as much as I hate them I guess.

"After classes were over I decided to visit the library to get some books and take home for my today's assignments but then on my way, I bumped into someone."

"Ooh pardon me wasn't looking where I was going to." With that I knelt down to pick up her books

"It's okay Mike." Wait isn't that her voice I looked up from the ground where I was trying to help her gather her books that fell off due to the collide.

"Wao where have you been since morning?

"I had Music lessons through out today that's why sorry for not telling you."

"It's okay was just worried about you." I handed her her books

"Thanks I appreciate. Hope you are coming tonight?

"Of course I won't turn down such an opportunity to spend time with you Kate." She giggled and touched my arm

"Thanks Mike. Okay I will go ahead now see you tonight yeah?

"Of course pretty." She gave me a hug before leaving and truth be told she's a sweet girl how I wish I met her in a different circumstance I would have loved to make her mine I sigh and continued to the library.

"Later that night I got ready and left for Kate's birthday party. I arrived there and it was already crowded but didn't see Kate nor Nathan I guess they are still preparing to come down. I sat and was offered some drinks and appetizers which was quite tastes full. After about 30 minutes our attention was called by Nathan's mom and Dad who stood on a little made stage in the ceremonial hall.

"We all want to welcome you to yet another birthday ceremony. Just a week ago we had this same party for my eldest son and now this one is for my second son and lovely daughter Nathan and Kathleen who just turned 18th. Please put your hands together for Nathan and Kathleen.

"The crowd cheered as Nathan made his way into the ceremonial hall but where is Kathleen. Nathan came in with all his glory looking good I must say. He made his way to his parents as he hugged his Dad likewise his mom.

"I wanna thank you all for coming and trust me words can't express how happy I am right now. This is a new life for me for I know this new age comes with a lot of responsibilities which am ready and up to the task once more thank you all for coming and to my wonderful parents I love you much thank you."

"After Nathan's speech everyone still cheered him up as he made his way to his friends I guess. After a while everyone began wondering where is the birthday girl at and as I looked around I didn't see Carl either hmm what is going on. The lights suddenly went off and dim ones were switch on then a lovely music began playing then I saw a shadow descending the stairs. We all looked closely to discover it was her yes it was Kathleen looking all beautiful wait did I say beautiful? No crash she was looking like the moon goddess herself and talking of the moon goddess though of course she isn't the moon goddess but guys she rocks and she is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. She finally found her way to the stage where her parents were standing as the both gave her a tight hug.

"Good evening to you all and thanks for gracing us with your presence tonight. I actually don't have much to say but I want to say a big thank you to this lovely couple standing beside me. Words can't express how much love and gratitude I have for them for without them I would have been a nobody and thank you all for coming and enjoy the night thank you. Everyone cheered for her as she looked around guess searching for Carl but oops I was wrong because I saw her coming my direction smiling at me."

"Am glad you made Mike thanks."

"I won't miss your special day beautiful and I most say you look extraordinary today you look exceptionally beautiful." Yes that came from my heart she actually is.

"Awwwww thanks Mike don't make blush okay hope you were well attended to?

"Yes I was come I got something for you."

"Ooh really?"

"Yes but it's in my car so come with me for a sec."

"Okay let's go."

She followed me carefully to my car so as not to ruin her beautiful dress. We arrived as I opened the car and brought out a box of an expressive but yet very simple necklace and handed it to her.

"Wao what's this Mike?

"Just open it and see for yourself." She opened it reaviling the pretty necklace.

"Wao Mike this is so beautiful I love it's simplicity thanks so much." Then she caught me off guard as she hugged me so tight which I recipocate the gesture and after a while I released her.

"I'm glad you like my gift."

"No Mike I love your gift can you please put this around my neck?"

"Of course it will be an honor." I did as she asked and trust me seeing her genuinely happy because of my gift made me really happy."

"Thanks once again it's so beautiful.

"You are welcome beautiful come let's go in for we have a party to attend. We both giggled and made our way inside.

"We got inside and she was immediately taken away by her mom to meet and greet some guest so I made my way to the bar for some drinks and as I was cooling off, someone joined me guess who it was hahaha."

"Wao who do we have here it is the birthday boy. Happy birthday Nathan."

"Thanks but no thanks."

"Ooh easy no need getting so rude."

"I might not have a good relationship with my sister Kathleen but that doesn't mean I will let anyone hurt her."

"Hahahaha see who is talking of hurt. Come on Nate we all know you hate her so much and you are fun of hurting her so you should learn to protect her first from yourself before you think of protecting her from someone else and besides I don't mean any harm for she is the sweetest girl I've ever met and won't be capable of hurting her."

"Bla bla bla you can talk all you want but remember that I don't trust you around her and remember I will be watching you have a wonderful evening."

" He left leaving me a little pissed. I don't understand what's happening why is he warning me whereas he himself is not her favorite person...... anyways he can't sense anything and he won't do anything. After taking so many shots I was exhausted and done for tonight but haven't seen her since the time she was taken away so I wonder where she could be and who she is with....I think I should go look for her cuz I need to leave but before I could do that there she was coming towards me."

"Goodness Mike I've been looking all over for you."

"Been here all along kate."

"Hope you aren't mad?

"Come on Kate it is your birthday so it's but normal for you to be busy so I totally understand okay..."

"OMG you are just too sweet and understanding thanks so much Mike."

"Okay I will head home now Dad has been calling."

"Okay I will accompany you to your car let's go." She did as she said and when we arrived my car she gave me another tight hug which I returned ."

"Wao you took me unaware."

"I'm sorry Mike but I let my emotion take the best of me and thanks again for my gift." She said that touching the necklace on her neck."

" Okay enough with the appreciations got to go now take care beautiful." I gave her peck got into my car and drove off.
