When I woke up, Blaze wasn’t present on the bed, but his place was still warm, which meant he had just left a few minutes ago. I got up and stretched my body. I could feel the refreshed energy in my body.
After getting up, I quickly locked the door and opened my wardrobe for any recent updates from the boss. And true to my intuition, there was a notification about an emergency meeting tonight. I checked the time, and it was already half past five, which meant I had two hours to think of a valid excuse to leave this mansion.
