Chapter 20 It was going to be a great day. The all felt it, and nothing was going to dampen their spirits. The storm had lasted several hours after, and some of the remnants could still be seen on the land. This was kind of odd to Carlos, since he’d expected everything to clear up once his mother left. It didn’t matter though. Perhaps the rain was to signify a new beginning, one where he could come back home and share the land with Beto.
