‘Asher, let’s skip dinner and go for a run.’ I need a run to release the built up anger I am feeling towards this whole situation with Hazel and the f*****g contract.
I mind-link Hunter and tell him to lead the dinner with the new members and I’ll meet them another time. I just needed a run.
Hunter sighs through the mind-link. ‘Alright, but Gregory is bringing his new mate, Benji. I thought you wanted to talk to her about her research?’
‘f**k, that’s right. Let’s do this, push back dinner one hour so I can get a run in. I need to let out some frustration because of f*****g Hazel.’ I ran to the front of the packhouse.
