Alpha Noah

Chapter Fifteen

Noah stared at me from across the table. He didn't say a word nor did I. I had my arms crossed over my chest and stood there with my head held high. I wasn't going to look weak in front of him. I just rejected him and it felt really good! 

It was too good to be true. 

Suddenly, Noah began to laugh. He laughed so hard that he began to turn red. He would stop laughing, look back at me, then start cracking up again. It was all starting to piss me off. The confident smile that I wore was no longer on my face but instead replaced with a frown. He wiped his eyes from the tears of laughter before speaking. 

"You thought you did something, didn't you?" He asked, "You wear my wedding ring and my mark on your neck and you thought you could reject me? It's too late for that!" He finished before busting into a fit of laughter again. 

I couldn't speak. I couldn't move. I couldn't do anything. I just stood there in embarrassment as he continued to laugh his ass off at me. He would look up, point his fingers, and die of laughter while I stood there and watched like an i***t when in reality I was a fool. 

Noah's laughter slowly stopped and the huge smile was replaced with a straight face, "However, I admire your dedication to get away from me," 

"Noah," I started but I was cut off by him standing up causing the chair that he sat in to fly back into the wall. He made his way over to me before slamming me into the wall. He placed his hands on both sides of my head trapping me. 

"Out!" He yelled causing the staff members in the kitchen to immediately exit the suite. He turned his attention back to me before leaning his head down in the crook of my neck. He blew on the mark that he placed on my neck causing me to close my eyes and bite my lip. I refused to moan. He placed a kiss upon the mark before whispering in my ear, "You're mine and I'm yours! We are stuck together so I suggest you act right!" 

"Get off of me," I whispered. It only caused him to chuckle. 

"You're still being disrespectful? Do I need to teach you a lesson?" He asked before kissing on my neck again. I closed my eyes and sucked in a breath as he continued to attack my neck in kisses. He did this until I was on the edge and right when his tongue caressed the mark on my neck... I pushed him away. I pushed him with all my might sending him flying away from me. He stared at me with wide eyes before marching over to me when suddenly the unthinkable happened. 

It was almost as if I teleported. I was near the wall and then I was near the kitchen. I gasped as I stood there in shock. Noah stood in the exact spot except he was frozen. I could see that his eyes were wide and his mouth was left open. He didn't move and I almost laughed at the awkward position that he was standing in. 

"Ororo," He started, "What the hell did you just do?" 

"I don't know," I answered honestly. 

"Henry!" He yelled. On cue, one of the guards entered the room. He bowed his head at me and then Noah. 

"Yes, your majesty?" He greeted. 

"Call Leroy! We are leaving and returning home! We are cutting this trip short," Noah demanded. Henry nodded before exiting the room quickly. I walked over to Noah and grabbed his arm. 

"What are you doing? Why are we leaving?" 

"We are going home so we can figure out just what the hell that was that you just randomly did!" He shot back.  

"It was nothing! I just went near the kitchen!" 

"Except that wasn't walking but running and quite f*****g fast might I add!" Noah yelled. 

"You're crazy! You should try getting sleep!" I said before dragging him to his room. Noah yanked his arm back pulling me into him. 

"Now you want to be a good wife?" He asked, "We are returning to Gideon and that's final!" 

"Noah," 

"What just happened wasn't normal!" He yelled, "I have seen a lot of things considering the fact that I'm a wolf and an Alpha at that but you are a human! Everything about you is supposed to be ordinary yet you just glided across the room like a damn Disney Princess on ice!" 

"It could've been an adrenaline rush, Noah! I just didn't want you to r**e me!" I exclaimed. 

Noah sighed heavily, "You work on my last nerve, Ororo! There are days where I want to pinch your lips until they just fall off so you could shut the hell up and I may say a lot of mean things to you but I would never r**e you! I only did that to your neck because I knew the effect that it'll have on you," 

"What?" 

"You heard me!" He stated, "We are returning home and I'm going to figure out what it is that's going on with you! I do not want us doing any public appearances because anything could happen," 

"I still think you're overthinking it," I mumbled. 

Noah shrugged me off and began to walk towards his bedroom. He stopped before turning to look at me, "Prepare for departure because we are leaving in 20 minutes!" 

"20 minutes?" I yelled, "I didn't even get to see my family!" 

"There will be a next time but we are getting out of here, Ororo! I do not want to repeat myself again! Go prepare yourself because there's a long flight ahead of you! Make sure you have everything!" 

He didn't say anything else or wait on me to speak because he stepped in his room and slammed the door behind him leaving me to stand in the empty dining room alone, nervous, and confused.
