Unknown P.O.V. “I don’t care if you have to rip that entire building apart!” I roared into my cell phone, the screen scratched and cracked in places from my claws. I could hear Brianna on the other end sighing. The same damned attitude that her mother had. I let a snarl hold in my chest until I heard a door close on the other end of the line. “Find me that f*****g book!” When Brianna hung up the phone, I groaned and lobbed my phone at the tattered pile of cushions that tried to pass as a sofa. We were living in squalor compared to the run-of-the-mill rogues and lone wolves.
