CHAPTER XIX - AT THE BEACH

It was nice to bring my specialized make up everywhere I go. This was really not good thing to happen. I should take care of myself before Kai would know my secret. What if my brother’s plan was to reveal my true color to Kai? What should I do? My days were getting over today, and I think that I would be in danger if he accidentally know it.

“I have reserved our rooms in a resort near the beach,” my older brother was happily walking and jumping. He really planned all of this. I looked at Haji, thinking that he knew it also.

“I don’t know anything about this. He just called me last night that there was a celebration.” He smiled.

We went to the shower rooms and I was the only one separated from them. I wish that this could end soon before my older brother do such things with trouble.

I saw the black bikinis with a closer look. It was perfectly fit on my body when I wore it. I put the waterproof specialized make up on the exposed areas. I saw myself in the mirror, wearing the black bikinis and I decided to wear white shorts too.

“I don’t want to go out like this.” I sighed. I felt embarrassed at my look. This was my first time wearing this kind of bikinis.

“Sae, where are you?” My older brother was knocking the door.

“I’m here.” I shouted. I shyly went out of the shower room.

“Perfect!” He exclaimed and I saw Kai looking away at me. May be, it was his first time to see me like this.

I ran out of the building and I put my hat on my head. I laughed when my older brother accidentally slipped to the sand. Haji was there to tease him.

“Stupidity strikes!” Haji exclaimed with a boisterous laugh.

I ran to the blanket under an umbrella. I felt the wind blowing my skin and I heard the waves of the beach like a music to my ears. I felt calm with the light of the sun. I closed my eyes and I started to smile. I heard the few steps above me and I quickly sat. It was Kai wearing his white jacket and swimming trunks.

“I think the weather is good.” I smiled at him. He sat near me but he avoided looking at me. I covered my chest because of embarrassment. He should not see my cleavage or else I would be dead.

“Yes, I think so,” he seriously said. “I think that your older brother is proving that we have our relationship like, we already fall in love with each other.” He looked at me without embarassment but I saw his ears turned red. He took a deep breath and exhaled.

“Do you think so?” I asked and he nodded. “May be, Lolo Emman told him our situation at the first time we met.”

“I guess. We should be careful before we were caught cheating our relationship,” he said fiercely. Was he really serious?

“Yes, we should be careful.” I smiled at him.

“But don’t think that I’m falling in love with a stupid like you.” He turned his back at me and he walked away. My tears started rolling down on my cheeks and I wiped them.

Why was I affected to what he said? Did I really fall in love with him? Or was I overthinking about it? I did not understand why he was doing this to me.

I picked a can of soft drinks and I drank it. I realized that it was not soft drinks when I saw the brand, it was a beer. I checked the drinks inside the case and I was surprised that it was a case of beers.

“What happened?” my older brother asked me while catching his breaths. Haji went behind him and he sat beside me.

“These are all beers. How about me?” I asked calmly.

“Did you drink it?” he asked curiously and I nodded.

“Oh, no. You should not drink beers.” Haji looked worried at me. My older brother put his hands on his waist and laughed a little.

“It’s okay. Nothing will happen to her.” my older brother said with a smiling face then, he ran to the beach.

“I’m okay,” I said calmly. I put my head on his shoulder and I clung my arm to his arm.

“Tell me what he told you,” Haji seriously said. He looked at my older brother who was happily swimming at the waves.

“He said that he was not falling in love with me.” I looked down at the can of beer that I was holding. I picked another can of beer and drank it. He stopped me and he drank all of it.

“You should not drink beers,” he said while he was looking away.

“Why?” I asked without hesitation.

“It’s because I don’t want to see you like this. I don’t want to see you hurting yourself because of him,” he sincerely said. I was touched at his words. He was really a gentleman.

“Thank you.” I smiled.

“Just smile when you really meant it,” he said seriously. I moved a little away from him and I looked at his face looking at me too.

“I’m happy to be with you all the time I’m like this,” I happily said and I hugged him so tight.

“I can’t breathe.” He whispered and he added, “Stop this. I won’t let Kai see us like this.” I laid down to the blanket and I laughed.

“Let him see us. It doesn’t bother him anyway. He would just let me to do everything I wanted.” I turned my sad tone to a cheerful voice.

I was busy toasting barbeques and toasting beefs when I saw Kai walking near the seashore then, he stopped for a moment. He seemed to be like thinking deeply. I quickly finished preparing the foods and my older brother was thinking playfully at me. I ignored him and I ran to Kai to invite him for lunch.

“Let’s have our lunch,” I invited while I was catching my breaths. He looked at me with a blush on his face and I realized that my cleavage was exposed. I covered it shyly and he looked away.

“It’s not that big.” I heard him whispering. Was he thinking of bigger breasts than mine? I cleared my throat and I made him looked at me.

“It’s fine. I know that I’m ugly with small breasts but it doesn’t matter anyway.” I confidently said. I held his right wrist and I began to ran with him. “I’m hungry. Let’s eat.”

I fixed my eyeglasses and I sat beside Haji. I started to eat my vegetable salad and he gave me my strawberry milktea. My older brother looked at my milktea and he licked his lower lip.

“Can I take a sip of your strawberry milktea?” he asked me. I know that it was his favorite too.

“I should buy it for you. How about you, Kai?” Haji asked smiling at him.

“Cookies and cream,” he said quickly. Haji ran to the milktea shop and he came back with two milkteas.

“Haji is really a good man,” my older brother proudly said and Haji was annoyed at him.

“Just eat your food,” Haji said quickly and he ate his favorite carbonara. Brother Seravy looked disappointed and he began to eat his food.

I noticed that Kai lost his appetite while looking away at us. Don’t tell me, he was irritated with the comment of my brother, Seravy?

My older brother cleaned the table for us and Haji helped him. They really looked like siblings. I smiled while watching them teasing each other.

I walked near the seashore and I made a small castle. I smiled looking at my finished art of sand. I also made a man and a woman at the door. I took a picture of it and I felt proud of myself for making it perfect.

“Haji, let’s play!” I shouted and he chased me near the seashore.

“They looked good as a couple.” I heard from the two girls behind me. Haji caught me and he got my camera from my hands. He took me pictures with a smile on his face.

I saw my brother pushing Kai at me. He looked serious with a red face. I felt disappointed when his arm brushed on my arm and I remembered what he said to me.

“Smile, Sae!” My older brother shouted and it made me faced the reality that I should not be affected by him. I could do it.

I smiled at the camera while posing with my brother. I hugged him and he was annoyed at me. Kai put his jacket on my shoulders and I was stunned at my place. My brother looked at us, thinking something fishy in his head.

“Let’s have a groufie!” Haji shouted and he requested a girl to take a picture for us.

I clung my arm to my brother’s arm but he pushed me away. I accidentally slipped but Kai caught my waist . His face was close to me and he easily made me to stand up again. He fixed his jacket around my shoulders and he looked away. He seemed to be sweet for a moment that made me smile.

My brother looked at him furiously and he got my wrist to be closer to him. I smiled at the camera while I was pinching his nose.
