The prince kindly led Amelia through the marvelous mansion which looked even larger on the inside than it did on the outside. They both looked around captivated by their surroundings, the sun shone in through the large windows and both of them found themselves gazing at it fondly. "It's beautiful!" The princess stated slightly breathless. "Absolutely." The prince replied back equally breathless. As the colors spread across the sky both the princess and the prince snapped back to reality. Glancing at one another and sharing a smile. "I see why the sun is such a respected part of their culture." The princess mumbled to herself but due to his good hearing skills, the prince caught it and smiled. Not letting the princess know that he could hear her mumbles. "This would be your room." The princess smiled as the prince held open the door for her. She entered the room and gave an appreciative look to the interior design. It was definitely a room designed while keeping in mind the person's comfort. Her luggage was already there she realized while scanning her room. Her eyes landed on the balcony doors and without a second thought, she walked forward using both her hands to throw open the doors with ease, the warm morning breeze making her sigh. The prince followed suit when she motioned for him to come. Slowly holland came to stand beside her staring at the beautiful greenery before them. The princesses room was towards the back of the building and opened onto the beginning of the forest. Whereas it meant danger it also meant peace and quiet and a place to calm herself down if needed. "It's an amazing view." The prince commented. "Agreed." The princess replied smiling at the sky ranging from red to yellow colors. They both stayed silent staring ahead at nature's beauty beneath them finding it soothing to have something to gaze at. Holland's gaze temporarily turned to the princess-who looked absolutely at peace with nature at the moment. He smiled a soft smile, once you met her the rumors went down the drain. She wasn't bad, just full of life in her own way. "I better get going." The prince informed snapping out of his riverine to find the princess grinning at him. "Thank you for all the help." "No problem your highness, it was my pleasure." The princess smiled even wider her white teeth on display, the prince glanced at her canines and making a mental note he took his leave. As the prince closed the door and disappeared from sight the princess got to unpacking her stuff and arranging everything properly before they would be called down for breakfast number 2. They had already eaten breakfast in the morning at 5:00 AM and left at 6:00 AM. And now that it was 11:00 AM they were all hungry again. Meanwhile, the prince retired to his room in order to change and unpack all of his belongings. He had a good idea as to how much space he needed and wanted so he quickly finished his work. The power and agility of a vampire came in handy for him, as soon as he finished he was on his way to Jacks room. "Jack?" "Come in." Prince Jack replied and Holland entered only to find his brother in the middle of writing a letter. "You've begun one already?" Holland questioned a bit surprised by Jacks eagerness to get it over with. "Just want to inform them that I'm not going to spend every breathing second of my life supervising all of them." Holland chuckled closing the door behind him and shaking his head amused at the irony. "As a king that's all your future is filled with." "Exactly. and I don't want to start with the responsibilities so soon." Jack replied staring at the paper. "Though I don't know what to write. we have arrived here, is the only thing my mind can come up with." "I think you should wait till night time then begin writing about the day's details and you can also inform them that you will only write again when something important happens." Jack hummed along in thought. "This is exactly why I asked dad to make you my advisor." Holland chuckled again before sighing and sitting down at Jacks bed. "What about the princess?" Jack questioned making Holland glance at him before turning his gaze to the ceiling. "Everything is fine so far, she isn't that bad." "I second that." Jack muttered knowing that his brother would catch it. "But we don't know how long it will be fine for." Jack continued making Holland sigh. "As much as I hate being a paranoid pessimist, you're right." Jack snorted. "I know I am." "Now you sound like Jace." "What!" Holland let out a low laugh at Jacks expression before dashing out of his room knowing that he would get an earful if he remained. As much as Jack and Jace acted against one another it was easy to see that they were close and trusting towards one another, especially in time of need. He stopped outside of Jaces room deciding to pop in, Jace didn't mind the knock that disturbed the silence around his room and opened his door- rather harshly - for Holland. He sighed as he spotted the prince standing outside and gestured for him to enter. "Everything okay with the princess?" He questioned almost immediately. "My my both the eldest seem to be extremely concerned for her." "She's an oblivious being stuck with 12 vampires, in my opinion being a little worried is expected." "The others couldn't care any less." Holland replied sitting down at the riveting chair. "They aren't the ones who need to watch over kids." "You know they hate being called kids." Holland replied rolling his eyes playfully at Jace's usual habit. "All the more reason to remind them of their current situation." Holland huffed as both of them fell into silence. "I bet Jack being the impatient moron he is, has already started writing the letter." Holland nodded making Jace sigh. "Is it just me or are you hungry as well?" "Famished actually." Holland replied making Jace nod. "We need to talk to the guards for the arrival of food, and regarding some other matters." "Let's go then." Jace nodded standing up followed by Holland, they exited the room and walked towards the massive carpeted staircase. "This place is large enough to hold nearly a hundred people." They heard Joshua's voice speak up from the living room as they stood above the place in the middle curve of the rectangular stairs. "Still smaller than the palace though." Brian remarked making Derek roll his eyes at his twins' attitude. "That's why mum called it a mansion, genius." Joshua replied. "Don't take that tone with me." Brian scolded as Joshua stuck his tongue out. "Or what?" He questioned challengingly. "Drop it already." Jacob spoke up rolling his eyes, annoyed from their bickering. His tired eyes caught the 2 princes on the stairs and he snorted. "Decided to make your appearance Your Highnesses." Jace rolled his eyes while Holland sighed. To think that Jacob would reconsider acting like that when he knew there was another royal present would be a mistake. "We're just going to check for food." Holland informed even though he didn't need to and from the look that Jace threw towards him, he knew that Jace would've left them be and then snubbed them when they came whining for food. "Finally making yourself useful I see." Prince Landon rolled his eyes kicking Jacobs foot making the latter glare at him as he spoke. "Shut up, your whining is annoying." "Whining?!" Brian and Joshua snickered making Jacob turn his glare to them. "Grow up you guys." Lance complained entering the room making Landon roll his eyes. "Look who's talking." He remarked in a perky voice making the brothers laugh while Lance snorted. "Glad to know you finally revealed your inner female." Lance retorted making everyone else in the room burst out laughing as prince Landon chose to ignore. "Sorry to interrupt your highnesses But is there any letter that needs to be sent? The second shift for mail delivery will be in the evening." "We don't have any letters yet, but we want to ask you a few questions. If you don't mind." The guard nodded in prince Holland's direction and prince Jace stepped forward to interrogate him. "How are we supposed to get the food supply?" "Through the portal, it opens at 8:00 AM, 2:00 PM, 8:00 PM and 2:00 AM." "Where does the portal open?" "That information we aren't supposed to give away." "Alright then, if we have to ask anything else will you be here?" Lance questions folding his arms in front of him and the guard nods. "Yes sir, we will all be there in the guard house around 15 minutes away from here." Prince Jace sighed before nodding. "Thank you very much you can take your leave now." "Thanky-." "When are we supposed to deliver the letters?" The guard got cut off as princess Amelia showed up through the other entrance into the living room holding 4 letters in her hands. Prince jack stared at the letters as if they were aliens- which wasn't that uncommon either the realms occasionally ended up with alien visitors who were facilitated properly- his reasoning for surprise was that he hadn't even been able to write a word in his letter whereas the princess had already filled four letters which she had labeled and sealed perfectly. "We can send them now and in the evening as well your highness." "Here you go then, thank you." Nodding his head the guard took his leave, the princess turned around and caught the confused stare of prince jack. "Is something the matter?" "Uhh... no... no, it's nothing." "Doesn't look like nothing." One of her eyebrows rose as she crossed her arms before her in question staring the prince down. The prince stood astonished from the attitude the princess had suddenly shown before clearing his throat and replying. Of course after much contemplation. "Will you help me write the letter to our elders?" Prince holland and prince Jace stared at jack in shock while the other princes present in the room acted confused. "Did Jack just... ask for help?"
