Like any other girls, a prince charming is someone I'd really wanna meet in my life. When I was still Chisuke, I used to be so addicted to the thought of being a princess when we were still a happy family. Although my perspective in life have changed drastically, there was still a tiny bit of spark inside of me that was hoping I'd get sweep off my feet by a dashing prince. Oddly, in my new life, I've never had the desire to meet one. I always thought a prince isn't for me and I already got everything I wanted, so what's there to ask for?
That's right. I don't need a prince. I already have friends. I'm happy now.
..
Am I?
The crowds cheer became louder as Blythe and Taka stood there just looking at each other without uttering a word.
The crowd gathered and greeted the royals, making Blythe lose sight of Taka.
"Blythe? Hey, Blythe?"
"H-Huh?" Blythe snapped back to reality.
"Were you even listening to me? Geez.. You know there's a time and place for you to actually drift through the clouds." Kendra joked, making Blythe giggle.
"You're right. Let's go enjoy the party."
The two continued to meet more people in the party, particularly, authors of books.
"Kendra, dear. It's time to greet the royals." Mrs. O'blenn approached the two.
"Um..Can I take Blythe with me, mother?" Kendra pleaded.
"It's okay, Kendra. I can wait here. Besides, those cupcakes ain't waiting for someone other than me. hehe"
"Are you sure?" Kendra said with a worried look.
"Yes, I am." Blythe said with a smile, making Kendra hug her.
"I'll be back, okay?" Kendra said before she and her mother walked away from Blythe.
"Now, where is that pesky brother of yours?" Mrs. O'blenn said as they both walked away.
Blythe stood in the middle of the crowd, not knowing what to feel. She walked away from the noise and decided to sit in a bench far from the party. Her back where the seal was started to hurt again, this time much painful than before.
"You never leave the crowd before." A voice spoke from behind, making Blythe jolt and the pain go away.
"Taka! I mean.. your highness."
"Shut up. Just call me what you usually call me." Taka said before sitting beside her.
They both sat silently in the bench. Hearing the birds chirping and the faint noise of the party.
"Sorry, I didn't tell you. In my defense, I thought you already knew." Taka said jokingly as he scratched the back of his head but Blythe was still looking down which made him stop smiling.
"We could still be friends, you know." Taka said making Blythe look at him with an excited face.
"For real?" She said, anticipating his approval while not knowing she's already near his face.
"A-Ahuh." Taka nervously replied.
"Thank God. I thought there were social standards where the royals can't be friend with just anyone since you were avoiding me these past few days." Blythe said relieved.
"Maybe I was just busy, you know? hahaha" Taka said suspiciously.
I can't possibly tell her I really was avoiding her. Yet..why do I feel so disappointed that she was relieved when I said we could still be friends..
Taka thought, looking at Blythe who was overjoyed.
"So, friends?" Blythe said as she reached out her hand when she suddenly felt something in her back where the seal is snap.
"Ahuh, frie-" Taka stopped on his tracks when in the blink of his eyes, Blythe was gone.

"Sire, for today's agenda, the orcs requests an audience for their yearly increase in supplies, mainly for food. Lava City is currently having more bandit issues ever since the peace treaty. And..." the secretary paused.
"And..?" the demon king asked in curiosity as the deming queen continued to read her daily book.
"The Flugel prince has come to visit." The king raised his eyebrow while the queen stopped reading.
"Ugh.. what does he want now?"
"The same thing as what he came for last time.. apparently, your highness."
"Tell him that it's not happening." the king ordered.
"Dear, let's think it through.. I mean, he's come all the way from their land, why don't we hear him out?"
"And listen to his nonsense offer!?" the king raised his voice. The room became silent as it took a while for the king to relax. He sighed and leaned on his throne.
"If only my beloved Blythe was here.."
"Forgive the intrusion, your highness."
Every head in the room turned to the balcony where the voice came from.
"Prince Lance!" The secretary bowed.
"I did not permit you to enter the throne room." The king said.
"Please, hear my offer."
"What!!!? YOU DARE ASK ME!!!?" The king said as he stood up in anger but Lance kept his head down in respect.
"Dear, it may be a good time to hear what the boy has to say." The queen held the king to make him calm down. The king sighed and sat back on his throne.
"Thank you, your majesty."
The king rolled his eyes which made the queen pinch his arm. He made a childishly sad face towards her that made her giggle.
"The flugels are entirely grateful that the war is over. Because of this, we no longer have to sneak into the human kingdom for knowledge. We have gathered much information in the past years disguising ourselves as human and entering library after library to get the information needed to use for the war... including an ancient prophecy during the Amon period by a royal fortune teller. This fortune teller has not only helped the human kingdom win countless of battles after the Edon period, he has also helped them cultivate their crops and predict weathers that the entire kingdom may not starve."
"What's your point here, boy?"
"In one of the scriptures regarding the fortune teller, he had a reading regarding a prodigy that will either be the start of a new or the end of this country. In the first few years, everyone prepared for this prodigy, militaries visited house after house who had newborns. After a few more years, it was thought that for the first time, this fortune teller's reading was wrong. The politicians shrugged this off and the information was long forgotten. Until now, we, the flugels have found evidence that your first and only born child is the one in the reading." Lance sneered at the king.
"N-Nonsense! My daughter is but a normal demon girl!"
"Oh, really? Then why did you send her in a human Academy?..... your highness."
The king couldn't utter a word. The queen held unto the king's arm in fear.
"We are still offering what we placed on the table. In exchange, we will keep your secret. Your daughter's hand... for your secret."
The room became silent and filled with tension when suddenly a rune on the ground appeared and started to ascend light. When the light faded, Blythe sat there in the middle of the intense atmosphere.
Everyone became shocked upon seeing her. Even Blythe, herself, was shocked.
"Hey... mom and dad...hi sir Weber hey- huh?" Blythe looked at Lance as his face looked so familiar to her.
"Whasdufkcol... Oh.. So this fwis ze side effec of telepotweyshon...hehe" She tried to talk before collapsing on the floor.
The queen ran towards her in worry.
"We'll continue this at another time. Weber, assist the flugel to a vacant room. I'm talking about "THE room"." The king winked at his assistant as if relying an hidden message that only his secretary could know.
"Oh...Yes, your highness. Right this way." Weber said, leading Lance to his room.
Lance followed Weber as the palace maids and guards arrived to bring Blythe to her chamber. They walked up a few stairs and finally arrived to the guest room the king was talking about.
"Here you are, your highness." Weber said, leaving the young flugel to enter the room.
When Lance entered, it was a very pleasant room. The king made it sound like it was a horrible one. Lance sighed and sat on the room's couch. He loosen his tie and laid down when his earing on the left ear started to vibrate.
"So, what did he say?"
"Not yet. He hasn't spoken a word about the offer."
"Well, he's cornered eitherway. If the whole kingdom knows about his secret, war will again happen and a possible coup will occur, knowing that the dragon race who has sat on the throne as head of the underworld has deceived the entire kingdom. Even the Elves will protest. If they do accept our offer, The dragon race will descend the throne and our race will rule the kingdom. The King's in a tight position now. So, you better do this right, Lance. I'm counting on you."
"Yes, father." Lance said as the communication ended. He covered his face with his arm and drifted to sleep.
Meanwhile at the other part of the palace, the king and queen looked at Blythe who was still asleep.
"Oh, my baby, she drained all her mana and stamina just to teleport here." The queen said carressing her daughter.
"She already learned teleportation, huh? That means the school is doing her good." the king added.
"Sadly, the first string of the seal on her back snapped. Recently, she's been overpassing her limits. The seal consist of a ring with 8 strings. During the forest attack, she snapped all strings and reaked havoc among the humans..and now she snapped one of them to teleport back here. Why is this girl so reckless?" The king said with a worried look on his face.
"At least she saved us from that situation." the king added.
"I would have crushed that flugel prince's face if Blythe hadn't come." he continued as fire lit on his eyes.
"Oh, dear. What shall we do about that? If we agreed to marry Blythe off, she'll be furious at us." the queen said.
"I wish that was the only thing I would worry if ever that happens. Once we marry her off, the dragon race of the next generation will no longer sit on the throne. The flugel's blood is very strong that whoever they impregnate, the child will always become one of them. I just hope there is a solution to all of this." the king said as the queen leaned on him while she continued to caress Blythe.
A while later, Blythe woke up with the king and queen already gone. Her mana has raised to 30% and stamina to 50%.
I need a hot bath to increase my mana. I feel so sluggish. ugh.
She went to the bath without even thinking about what happened before she got to their palace.
--
After a few hours of sleeping, Lance felt someone touch him all over his body, hearing murmurs around him that irritated him and made him sit up.
"He's finally awake~" A woman with a pair of crystal clear wings, long ears, and unbelievably large chest.
"Good morning, handsome~" another woman said.
Lance stood up and moved away from them. There were at least 5 of them near the couch he was sleeping on.
What the heck are Elf faeries doing here!?
"C'mon young man, lose your virginity to us~"
"Yeah, it'll be the best experience ever~"
They hovered over him, trying to take his clothes off and l*****g him all over. Lance tried to push them away but their grip was so much stronger.
I gotta get away from these crazy faeries.
He whispered a spell under his breath and disappeared from the room and teleported a floor below his room. He fell on one knee from the amount of mana and stamina he lost during the teleportation.
That stupid king hired elf faeries just to seduce me. Damn that old man.
He sighed and looked forward only to see a pair of legs.
Huh? They really followed me here!? Wait.. Aren't elf chests suppose to be... not.. flat..
He met with Blythe's eyes as they both started to turn red. Blythe screamed so loud the palace guards had to rush in and checked up on her.
"Are you okay, Princess?!"
"Yeah, yeah I'm okay ahahaha I just saw a bug that's all. hahaha" Blythe said with a towel around her body and glanced at Lance who was sticking on the upper wall of the room.
"Are you sure?" the guard asked.
"Yes, yes. You guys go back to your work now. hehe" She said as the guards started to leave her room.
"What the heck are you doing here!?" Blythe asked as Lance moved down from above.
"Trust me, it wasn't my intention to see a chopping board in a hot bath." He said as he brushed off dust from his clothes.
"What!?! How dare you!?" She said angrily as Lance just ignored her.
"Why is a flugel even here in the palace, anyway?" Blythe said raising one of here eyebrow.
"Well, princess. I've come to ask for your hand in marriage." He said as he reached out his hand to Blythe who couldn't utter a word after what he said.
