"What's going on, Professor?!?" Olivia exclaimed while the others listened. Blythe laid in bed, unconscious while Vivien placed her hand on Blythe's forehead to maintain the sleeping spell Blythe was on.
"We'll wait for the principal to get here."
"Professor! Please.. Duke is unconscious and our team is injured. We at least deserve to know the truth." Olivia begged in a shaking voice as the others looked at Slack intently.
"Very well." Slack said and sat in the chair of the room while the others sat across him.
"As you all already know, Miss Ainsley is a demon and a powerful one, too. But she's not just any demon. She is the daughter of the demon king which makes her a demon princess." The people in the room looked horrified like a sudden chill went up their spines.
"After a few weeks from the peace treaty, the demon king and queen personally came knocking to my door." the voice of an old man continued Slack's explaination.
"Principal Aiwell!" Slack exclaimed.
"It's okay, Slack. I'll take it from here." Aiwell said.
"Principal.." Olivia's face looked shaken and confused.
"I'm sorry to have put you all in grave danger. It must have been a terrifying experience to you all." Aiwell said while he pat Olivia's head.
"The demon king and queen begged to let us have her educated in our school. They explained that Miss Ainsley had the powers of a prodigy magic user. They have tried their best changing from tutor after tutor so she could cope with her current level."
"But why would they enroll her in the Academy?" Taka asked.
"Let me get back to the basics of science in this world. In order for a magic user to level up, he has to improve all his attributes first. This allows the body to be capable of carrying the amount of magicules that circulates in the vessels of the user. The greater the amount of magicules is, the harder it is to take under control. In a normal person, the development of the attributes happens first in order to increase the amount of magicules in the body. But in the princess' case, her magicules developed even without increasing her attributes. In theory, if one could not contain or control the magicules, the body self destructs and the 10000 miles radius that goes down with it."
"She's a ticking time bomb." Taka said making the principal nod.
"Thankfully, she's almost up to the limiter. If she gets all her attributes to maximum, then there wouldn't be any problem with her self destructing."
"That would make her the youngest fully developed magic user in the world." Taka said.
"Exactly." Aiwell agreed.
"But why the Academy, principal? Aren't there other Academies that could teach her!?" Vivien rebeled.
"Our Academy was built to deal with this type of situation. Even though the professors are lower in attributes and level compared to her, they have the knowledge of thousands of spells due to the countless of ancient ruins containing treasure scrolls of travelers that have died in those places that were discovered by the Academy's faculty which makes them much powerful than her.. for now. The demon kingdom have very little land in this country due to past ancestors who have lost a lot of lands from the war. The current demon king is the only king that maintained the territories because of his wise decisions during battles. Still, he did not like the idea of harming those that are not part of the war like normal people. If he wanted to, he could have taken back the lands that were stolen from the demons but because of them residing within those lands, he did not bother to. There is very little ground to discover new knowledge leading to a lot of demon races becoming close to extinction because of the lack of cognitive development on how to survive this world. Some of them have even devoted themselves into attacking normal humans as bandits of the demon kingdom. It's the reason guilds were formed in many different towns." Aiwell paused for a while. He noticed a familiar presence and right then, he knew who it was.
"Although.. the demon kingdom has one person who is much like our professors in the Academy. " Aiwell continued like he anticipated that the person he's talking about is coming.
The windows opened and an old man with a pair of wings and horns showed up.
"It's been a long time.. Touya." Aiwell said facing the demon old man.
"Yes, it has been..Geoseppe." Master Touya wielded his sword against the principal. The others panic with a desire to defend their principal. Aiwell held out his hand to let them sit down. He touched Touya's sword as it turned into dark butterflies.
"Still an illusionist, I see." Aiwell said making Touya smirk.
"I came here for the princess. The king asked me to come in their behalf after they heard the news. From the looks of it, you had things under control."
"Yes, well, except for one detail." Aiwell teared down Blythe's back dress, showing a shattered mark on her skin.
"You're the only person I know who is able to cast a seal so strong." he explained.
"Strong.. but not strong enough. This is a broken seal." Touya said.
"A seal.. that would explain it. She never showed any extraordinary skills during class and during field demonstrations. And I couldn't feel the same aura she gives right now before." Taka inserted.
"In any case, I'm gonna reseal it back in hopes that it won't cause damage to anyone again."
"Y-you're gonna continue to hide it!? Are you fcking insane!?! We almost died out there and you still expect her to come to class everyday like she's some normal girl!?!?" Vivien shouted.
The entire room became silent. Even Taka and Kenny couldn't speak up.
"She's not normal, yes. But her heart is pure. Seeing you m******e her people might have been a shock to her. All this time, the king and queen didn't tell her about the downfall of the peace treaty. She thought that peace means everyone should get along but in reality, peace is only achieved when there are lives to offer." Touya explained.
"If you do not wish to take her in, then I'd gladly take her as my student again. It is my king's wish to honor your decisions."
"W-wait." Taka said with all his courage.
"I may still be confused about.. all this. But no matter what anyone says, Voci- I mean, Blythe is still Blythe. I have never once thought she was out to hurt me or anyone else. So, normal or not I wish Blythe to continue studying in the Academy." Taka said.
"M-me, too." Kenny agreed.
"I agree." Lance spoke up that made Touya look and raise his eyebrows as if he knew Lance.
"I don't know her much, but I also sense she's a sweet girl. And I'd like to get to know her better." Olivia said.
"A-Are you all...fcking crazy?" Vivien said as she walked out of the room, uncasting the spell. Aiwell sighed in grief but shrugged it off and looked at Olivia.
"Olivia, I entrust your team with the task to watch over Blythe." Aiwell said.
"Thank you. I hope you all take care of her." Touya bowed down to the team who were still unsure about the possibilities.
"Hypnotic sleep. Continuous cast." Touya casted making Blythe's sleeping spell continue without constantly holding her forehead.
"You should all rest. It has been a long night for all of you." Aiwell said making everyone leave the room and go to their bedrooms.
Aiwell and Touya stared at the bright moon with their hands behind their back.
"You didn't tell them about her special skill." Touya started.
"The trauma they felt at the forest have shaken their trust for the girl. If I continued any further and told them about her skill, they wouldn't be able to accept her like they did now. And they wouldn't be able to help us make her understand that humans are not the enemy." Aiwell explained.
"The girl still doesn't know how dangerous she is nor how to control her special ability. The bandits are after her because there's still a possibility she'll turn her sword against the humans. That's why our job is to make her understand that humans are just like the demons she has grown up with." He continued.
"That's very wise for an old man like you." Touya joked.
"Heh. You're one to talk."
"All that aside, you felt it too, right?" Aiwell continued and asked.
"Yes. The dark presence that lingered around her indicates that they are on the move."
"They thought about it so well. Sending her here unconscious was their first move and I doubt she went to the forest alone. They must have planned this to happen."
"I have blocked all entrances from her mind that have become an opening for them. But I can't guarantee that they won't find a way to enter it again."
"I will have to increase the security of the Academy and strengthen our barriers. But there's something else I wanna do to make sure they could not follow us. Old friend, I need you to do something." Aiwell faced Touya who already knows what he wants.
--
Morning came much sooner than expected. Everyone looked gloomy but their wounds have slowly healed thanks to Taka's special ability. The plants that he can summon not only helps him during battle but they also have healing abilities. While the healing still takes time, it shortens the duration of the process and leaves no scar to trace.
The carriage was ready and everyone had went inside. Blythe and Duke's unconscious body stayed with Olivia on a separate ride.
"The spell I casted will withdraw itself once she is already in her chamber. When she wakes up, she will not remember the time she spent here. Please take good care of the princess." Touya begged.
"We will." Olivia swore.
"Slack, take care of them." Aiwell commanded Slack who nodded in response.
"I'll be visiting a friend in town so you guys go ahead." Aiwell told the students.
When the carriages started moving, Touya whispered a spell that affected the entire ride. He looked at Aiwell who nodded to initiate their plan. Touya started sprinting while following the carriage but made a right turn through the forest when they were far enough from the villa. He continued running through the thick forest until he was much further from the main road. He stopped and felt someone following him. He looked around to see if his eyes could catch it when suddenly a sword was wielded upon his neck which he dodged quickly.
"My, my old man." A beautiful woman stood before him holding the sword that came near his neck. His eyebrows furrowed realizing what he was dealing with.
A foxtail rebel? That's awefully unique for foxtails.
Touya thought to himself.
[ Foxtails : Part of the demon kingdom in the higher rank of the Hierarchy. 3rd next to the Flugels. Known to be the most loyal race of the demons. ]
"What do you want with the girl, fox?" he asked.
"Me? Oh, nothing at all." she said making a clueless face.
"I'm only following orders." she continued. She said before charging at Touya who dodged the attack.
Touya summoned his sword, fighting back against the woman. Their swords glistened in the forest as it collided with each other.
"I must say, you fooled me quite good with that spell of yours. Really smart move." She complimented Touya who was running around the forest. He stopped every attack the woman tried.
"For an old man, you're not so bad at all." the woman said gazing at Touya who tried to stop her from slicing off his head.
"What do you say about joining our rebellion, that way we could catch up sometime, hm?" the woman continued.
"Over my dead body. Flame guard. " Touya casted, surrounding his sword with fire and tried to hit the fox girl who dodged and smiled at him like a maniac.
"Hot. here's some ice for that burn, dear. Freezing field!" The woman fought back with icicles raining down on Touya. He tried to dodge every single one but eventually got hit his right leg. Touya desperately stood up. He whispered a spell that the woman could not hear. She walked closer to Touya as if she knew she was winning the battle.
"Oh? Are trying to cast without me knowing what it is? hahahahaha That's very hila-" The woman stopped. Suddenly, she couldn't control her own body.
"You wanna know what's really hilarious?" Touya said with a smirk on his face.
"The part where you thought you had played me." Touya continued.

"Not giving up, are we?" Maria said with a s******c smile.
Suddenly, all the strings were cut off by a blade so fast, they could tell what kind of blade it was.
"Sorry, I took long." Aiwell said holding his sword.
"Tsk. Aiwell." Maria's expression changed to an irritated one.
"We'll see each other next time, pumpkin~ Toodles~" Maria said as she disappeared into thin air. Touya wanted to run after her, but Aiwell stopped him.
