Hours passed with me just on the ground, tears just pouring out of my eyes, which by now would have turned from my bright green eyes to a dark red with yellow in the center. When my emotions are heightened my eyes change to a different color, just like Maggy’s when she gets scared or is threatened. When I feed, they turn to a dark black all over my whole eye, no white is left just dark emptiness that are meant to terrify my victims even more than they already were. The only good thing about my eyes is I can control any non-supernatural creature to do anything that I say or want them to do. I slowly gather myself up off the ground and dust my clothes off, a big pool of red lay around where my head was on the ground from the blood that pooled out of my eyes. I slowly began to walk home blood staining my face and clothes, I did not have the energy to run home as all my energy was spent crying my eyes out.
The journey home ended up with me taking a detour around Foxworth Hall, the stench of blood still lingering all around as I passed across the street. Cops were still trying to find every piece of blood, skin, or clothing that were scattered all the way across the yard and some pieces as I could see were hanging in trees and up on top of the building. The pieces that I could see could not have been taken up that high by a bear or any type of animal known to the non-supernatural world. The culprit had to be of supernatural ability, most likely werewolves or vampires maybe possibly even a hybrid, whomever had done this definitely made it more difficult for the rest of us to stay hidden among the humans now we will have to lay lower than we already have been. This would cause a major uprising soon with the more of us that found out about this, I had to tell the high coven.
My energy had returned, and I returned home, I took a quick shower and put on some new clothes then immediately headed out to Greg’s house I knocked faintly and timidly. Maggy opened the door with a fiery look in her eyes, “I thought I told you never to come near my son again!”
“I know you did, but I just came back from Foxworth Hall. It is a who not a what that did this, I am only hear because you are part of the high council and that is it, the council needs to know.”
“And how do we know that it was not you? As you clearly stated in front of me this morning, you do not remember anything from last night and Greggory said out loud that it was as if you were in a trance.” I interrupt her before she can put me down any more than she already has, “Then test me for any sign of someone hexing me. We need to know for sure so we can find who really did this BEFORE an uprising begins or the humans discover our existence!”
“Fine! But only for the sake of my family, the rest of the coven, and the council. Come in, but be quiet, no one can know you are here. Quickly go to the basement. NOW!” she said quietly.
I entered the basement using my super speed, a few moments later Maggy followed behind me carrying a spell book and some vials filled with God knows what. “Sit in that circle arms folded, and legs crossed, do not say a word until I ask questions, or I tell you to say something.” I nod approvingly and do as she says. Maggy then opens the vials and dumps them on my head, arms, and legs. She then opens the spell book; the smell of dust and paper fill my nose. Maggy starts speaking in Latin and my head goes light and foggy, I feel something lift off my shoulders and then the world went black.
