To Surpass Dao chapter 19: The fate of the ice giant catfish

Once Luo Ping obtained the treasure they left the core that seemed intact and the conditions seemed to have already been created. The giant fish seemed to be just patrolling close by waiting for its prey. Once outside the couple could feel that the temperature rises, an illusion created from being in the extremely cold place and entering a sightly cold one. 

The most interesting thing is that they looked at the fish mockingly and Yao seemed to have some greed in her eyes. “Husband, is this what you plan to cook for me?” She asked and Luo Ping just nodded knowing that as body cultivators, quantity also mattered. He suddenly looked at the fish grinning and it seemed to have the thought they had a treasure and looking at them they didn’t give any pressure of an expert so It become more excited and attacked immediately. Instead of the fight taking place, Luo Ping started playing with it and made sure not to hurt the meat. 

Yao seemed impatient and asked, “ Husband why are you playing with the food?” 

Luo Ping said disapprovingly, “ I am just starting the recipe I read somewhere to make it more delicious you just relax beside, the fish will only be cooked once we finish dealing with all forbidden grounds maybe tomorrow. Today there is something good for diner I had captured some time back.”

The giant ice catfish seemed to be suffering from the precise beatings that seemed aimed at softening the meat by Luo Ping. In the end, he decided to end the matter by delivering the final blow. Who knew it ended up leaving the water by breaking through the ice surface and at this region even the sects dared not invade or they would die of extreme coldness. 

Once in the air, it seemed to have suffered a heavy blow and Luo Ping just finished it off before seeing another prey eying them. He kept the fish and observed a huge wolf seemed to have ice crystals from the head to the back.”Yaoer what do you think of  barbecued ice wolf for diner tonight?” The girl standing on his right just replied by saying, “ Whatever husband cooks are the best. Just add that barbecued thing to the wolf”

Patting her head he raised his hand and the snow in the region near the wolf solidified before piercing its head and once it died it wondered how things happened. Processing the fish and the wolf he kept them back in the system storage and added some ice though it seemed unnecessary since they could be preserved even better just like that. 

“Yaoer let’s move to the other place the time we have is limited since some things have to be taken care of quickly.” He held her hand and they disappeared only to reappear some distance close to the next forbidden region. Some seemed normal but once they visited they seemed to obtain numerous treasures. Just like that on the second day in the evening, they appeared at the last forbidden ground and once inside discovered an illusion realm.

“There seems to be something interesting in this place perhaps useful for the soul. Let's keep moving and collect everything before heading for seclusion. This time we might need some time to improve strength even further.” Baoza had managed to purchase some resources before coming to the last grounds. They mainly included foodstuff to feed several armies. They kept moving from shop to shop and the businessmen were left smiling due to having made big business. 

The illusions become useless from the moment they stepped in and they kept talking about some embarrassing stuff from yesterday. “Yaoer if you want to know what I did yesterday we can repeat it today once done with this.” Like some frightened cat she just kept keeping some distance and saying,  “Husband, I suddenly think today you should be gentle I am still tired.”

“OOh! And here I thought you seemed active once shopping for food. You made us purchase everything. Maybe we caused some shortage, after consuming all that some night exercises are important to keep the shape.  Do you want to lose that figure? Not, I will properly carry out our night exercises and even introduce new ones. Who is as caring as me?”

Yao seemed to want to cry, the entire day she remembered how it hurt, even though she likes it, she still suffered a bit in the morning when it came to moving around. “He just said daily exercise upgrade to maintain my shape, is he bullying the young” Yao kept pouting and feeling aggrieved, and eventually they managed to reach the core area. 

Looking around, only to discover some garden and in it, numerous herbs could be seen, they seemed to have an effect of restoring the soul. “Ignore this thing they have no use to us. Let's see the treasure that could cause some illusions in the entire place. I wonder how such a formation came into play though?. Yaoer let's enter and collect that stuff in there before leaving this boring place.” They both seemed exhausted mentally since they had obtained some treasures in the other regions but the value seemed lacking. The only advantage being the spirit herbs that they had accumulated. 

Luo Ping moved into the formation holding her arm and once inside they managed to see some herb that resembled a willow tree but the intense energy fluctuations they had seemed more like life energy than anything else. The entire plant seemed like a treasure and so Luo Ping decided to move it into their home and use it for cultivating the bones. 

Picking the entire ground and the plant in the pond he moved it into the artifact he designed as a house. To be precise, it seemed like a vessel, a ship but taking the shape of a house currently since they had no use for a ship in their current circumstances.
