To Surpass Dao chapter 17: Hot Forbidden region treasures

The quality of treasures in this region seemed also more and the more Luo Ping collected the more ideas he developed on their use. “ Yaoer’ it seems once we move through all the forbidden regions we can start cultivating a new technique. The limit of the soul growth our bodies can tolerate has been reached but once the body is made even stronger than moving most techniques to the fifth realm or even higher becomes a possibility.” Luo Ping said as they kept moving. 

“The temperature in this place is too hot and a good place for body tampering it is a shame the effect is nonexistent for us. Let’s continue moving foward and see the number of medicinal herbs that can be collected here.” Luo Ping kept alert even though they both were strong, some unexpected situations can always occur.

He kept moving until arriving at a distance of six killometers from the center. The treasures collected in this forbidden zone seemed more than the previous one. Luo Ping kept moving and observed the center with anticipation because he had hoped to get higher quality spirit herbs.

Luo Ping however had an impatient dao companion that immedietly looked through the region at the center but this time seemed to only see something that seemed like a formation. She hurriedly informed him, but he told her to be patient something that seemed to make her pout. 

She acted wronged but Luo Ping ignored her and kept moving to observe the herbs present and packing those he deemed more useful. He started approaching the region and even obtained herbs that seemed to have surpassed the level of this world. The intelligence on them seemed to have just started forming so he kept them before they attempted escaping and entered the zone. 

The temperature in the zone seemed like it was boiling, and some information seemed inscribed on the ground.  Baoza looked through it and ignored it as he brought Yao and managed to enter some concealed space. The heat seemed to sneak from there and inside he managed to see some drop of blood that kept displaying the phenomenon of a phoenix. He had already predicted the place could be a region keeping the remains of an ancient bird. The phoenix also seemed just right to add to his collection. 

He observed it and realized the drop of blood seemed to be hiding in the place since it had developed some sentience. He obliterated it without caring about its issues. Baoza also never planned to associate with other people’s karma so after putting it in the system storage and observing it carefully. He removed some of the will attached to it, to push the one that absorbed it to completing certain conditions then absorbed it. 

After all those years without using the system points they had pilled up so in succession he kept increasing the phoenix bloodline and due to the system, everything happened low key, and once completed he also managed to have another bloodline at level 10. 

The superior blood could offer him more benefits than even the Phoenix clan, but Luo Feng had his own plans about developing strength using bloodlines, and the more superior bloodline he got in the future the better. He then kept thinking of the outcome if he combined his three bloodlines, he then decided to push such thoughts aside first.

He observed around and indeed some red spiritual herbs that seemed to contain very high temperature send into the storage space before leaving. 

The items obtained from the two regions have some use and the most important seemed to be to visit more places to obtain the right balance in herbs before attempting to refine pills. The region had been cleaned out and just like the previous region they moved out unnoticed to the third one. 

The region also seemed cold but it came from under the water thus the entire town seemed to experience very low temperatures and some sects that practice Ice techniques mostly female seemed to occupy the region. Reaching the region they kept moving in the sky and observed the situation and due to the cold region, even snowfall seemed to be treated as a normal routine. 

The cold temperatures kept increasing the more one got close to the ocean and thus they landed just near the ocean. They observed and got a clear direction. It seemed in this region the more powerful the ice arts were the more the sects moved further into the lake region. The surface had been frozen for millenniums so they felt safe staying there. 

Once they reached the region the sects were located, they could see numerous youths lingering around. Most of them seemed like men that came to observe flowers. The fashionable dressing of both Yao and Luo Ping seemed less interesting than beauty. The most important thing is that someone with high cultivation could discern that they had some cultivation talent but currently they preferred to walk around without any fluctuations. 

Luo Ping looked around and found the most likely opening for the region but it had frozen. The entire ocean actually is an entrance to a forbidden region and Luo Ping seemed unaware of that after scanning the region he then made up his mind to just blast their way in. Suddenly some lady dressed in sect clothes seemed to approach them since she found them amusing. They practically ignored them and seemed to be looking for something that could be deemed very vexing for the woman so she decided to use her beauty and cause some problems.

She then talked to Yao smiling, “ This junior sister why not join our sect. I can see that your talent for cultivation is not bad.”

Luo Ping could already see through her so he just replied without even glancing at her, “ We are not joining. Our aptitude might not even qualify to be handyman disciples.” The woman actually had been ignored even during the speech and she couldn’t take it so she continued smiling before saying,

“How can that be this Junior sister is obviously talented and shouldn’t you let her make her choice.”  Luo Ping smiled and seemed to have found something.
