Dani turned to Keld, "what did you say to him." Looking down at her as if he was think about his answer. She stepped closer to him."I asked you a question Earl Keld"

"I am a jeleous man Dani, and it is plain to see that there was something between you and my nephew more than friendship. I do not care what happened in the past it is the past. what I care about is what our future will bring. I do not judge you or him but i ask you to please be a faithful wife to me and i will be faithful to you. I understand you do not love me, But i hope some day you will. May the Gods Allow."

Shocked by his words Dani shook her head her life was planned by the gods and she had no say so she had no choice but to agree because only the gods knew what her life would be."I understand" she finally said "And i Promise to be a good and faithful wife to you."

"That is all i ask"

"I must ask, will you do something for me."

"Anything"

"Teach me to fight"

"Teach you" Shocked Keld looked at her did she not know how to fight.

"Yes, I want to be able to protect myself and my people. ive spent to much of my life being afriad and weak."

"I will always protect you"

"I understand but i still want to learn."

"Okay i will teach you."

"Good."

Grabbing her arm they turned and walked back to the hall as they walked threw the door to the table her mother and brother was sitting at. Smiling at her mother she kissed her head." I think i want to plan my dress." Thrya eyes lit up " Oh that sounds wonderful". after a while the celebration died down Dani walked to the sires hut. 

"Who has come to see me?"

"Dagney"

"Ive been expecting you lost one"

"lost one?"

"Yes, even though you are home you are still lost, you have lost your way"

"will i find it"

"Yes "

"Will i be happy with Earl Keld?"

"You mean will you love him?"

"Yes"

"Or is it the smith you truely love"

"Please i just need to know dont play riddles with me sire"

"YES"

"Yes what?, Keld ill be happy or will my heart belong to Colden?"

"Yes"

"Both?"  "no"

"Which one"

"No more answers"

Confused by what the sire told her Dani walked from the hut. Her life has meaning says the sire but what. She would marry Keld and she would be happy but does her heart belong to Colden or should she let him go like her mother said and find her happiness with Keld. she looked into the stars looking for a sign anything. 

The night was cold and snow was falling as she walked to the house. As she entered the hall she saw Keld sitting by the fire with a drink in his hand she thought he had went to sleep. Walking up he looked up and saw her, he stood as she approched guesturing her to sit with him."Thirsty?" she nodded her reply he walked over and grabbed her a golden chalase with what looks like wine. Handing it to her as he returned to his seat.par

"I thought you retired for the night" he looked at her

"I thought you were to"

"No i cant sleep, i have a lot on my mind."

"Oh what ever could it be?" She grined 

"Oh you know the normal, War, wedding, running a village Earl stuff." his smile reached his eyes as he let out a small laugh.

"What excites you more being an Earl or going to war?"

"Marrying you has to be the top one, then being Earl im not to excited about the battle."

"Marrying me is number one? Why?"

"From the moment i saw you Dani i knew you would change my life, there is no lie ive been looking for a woman to share my life with and have some sons and daughters. i just never thought the gods would bless me with such a beauty."

"HA the gods blessed you with a damaged mess who doesnt know who she is or what she wants."

"I dont see a damaged woman, I see a woman who needs help and some one to help guide her to finding out who she is."

She looked at him unsure of what to say he had said everything she was feeling, she took a long drink closing her eyes. " Im scared" Catching him off gaurd he looked at her.

"Of what?"

"You, Myself, Everything im not brave."

"you have no reason to be afraid of me. and i will protect you from everything that you need me to but i can not protect you from your self. No matter how much i wish i could."

"Thank you, this life is going to take some getting used to."

"it will be a good life i promise"

"You cant promise that."

She smiled at him and thought to herself i can make it work i can try to be happy, i can forget my feelings for Colden cant i? She looked at Keld this man who wanted her and wanted to give her a life safe and succure.
