Colden took his position by Olin."Have Fun " Olin said trying to hide the laughter in his voice.

"What are you atlking aout"

"Dont play coy im a man i know what it looks like. you better talk me up with your father if your going to have my sister im getting yours." Olin laughed 

"Okay" Colden laughed 

"Just dont hurt her ok i seen the way shes looking at you"

"I wont"

"Its my shift get some sleep."

Colden tucked down and closed his eyes sleep came and he dreamed of Dani. Colden woke just before sunrise Olin was asleep. Opening the door on the tent he looked in on Dani she was still asleep, He and Olin had taken turns threw the night keeping watch over Dani. now the sun was about to rise he had an idea quietly he went in the tent. "Dani hey dani wake up" He wispered, Dani opened her eyes slowly and looked at him. "hi" she said sleeply. Colden smiled down at her " Come with me i want to show you something" Dani held his hand as the walked threw the silent camp only two others were awake. Colden thought to himself Dagney has been a slave for 12 years everyday she has lived her she wasnt free. Today she leaves this place a free woman once again.

They get to the shore the sky is pink over the water, They sat down in the sand Colden close beside her,"You came here against your will and you were made a slave your whole life here , today you are leaving this place a free woman back with your people this is a new sunrise Odin has made for you, you are free, " They sat in silence and watched the sunrise over the water, Dagney looked up at Colden." Thank you for this Colden, im glad im going home i prayed to the gods everyday that i would go home now thanks to you i am."

Colden looked at Dagney and saw the look on her face that concerned him. "What is wrong?" He asked her brushing the hair that fell across her face.

"I dont know who i am' She began ' Here i was Dani to these people these christians to them i was a christian, Now im going home to Avaldsnes to my norsemen family and faith as Dagney Daughter of Rangvaldr,, What if i cant be what my people expect me to be?"

"Do you practice the Christian faith?" He asked her 

"No, during there services and holidays i would stay in the sellar praying to the allfather practicing my faith the best way i can." 

"You are not christian. You are Norse you are the Daughter of Rangvaldr, A Daughter of Odin The All Father. You dont have to be anything for our people right now you only have to be you and adjust to the new life you will have in Avaldsnes. You dont realize how loved and missed you are. So if you dont know who you are then be both women Dani daughter of Rangvaldr and Thrya a child of Odin."

She looked at him and smiled "I am Dani and thats enough for now"

"There you are," Rangvaldr said from behind them. Colden turn and got to his feet, Dagney looked up at her father as he stroked her cheek. "I went to check on you but you were not in your tent, are you ok my Daughter?"

She smiled "Yes Father i am. Colden thought i would like to see the sunrise on the day i finally go home."par

"He did now, how kind of you Colden." Rangvaldr smiled at him he helped Dagney to her feet and pulled her into a hug, he held her as if he never wanted to let her go. He stroked his hand over her black hair. "It is good to have you in my arms again my Dagney. You are so strong and brave." He cupped her face "Dagney The Brave" He kissed her hair.

Soon we were loading into the boats preparing to sail home. Colden sat beside Dani and Olin. "Are you ready Dagney?" Olin as he wrapped his arm around his sister. Dani smiled at her brother. par

"Dani. I want to be called Dani." She said to her brother and looked to her father for his blessing. He smiled and nodded.

"Lets get Dani home " Rangvaldr yelled as we surged into the water.
