Dani Hasnt been on a boat sense the day she was taken from Avaldsnes and the sea was not kind. The first few days at sea Dani's stomach turned and she emptied the conteints. And now was unable to think of food. "How much longer its been weeks" she asked her brother Olin. 

"Not much maybe 2 more days, Depending on the weather." 

"The sea has been fair for the past few days the waters calm Odin is good to us, I will release a raven " Rangvaldr said to them as he walked to the cage with the birds opening it

Dani looked to her father she admired him he was strong and kind with his children and his people. Hours passed sense her father released the raven the afternoon sky grew dark the sea thrashed violently tossing the long boats over the water. Colden rushed over to her with a rope he started tieing it around her waist "Hold on to me okay." Colden went to tie the rope to the sail when the boat tipped to the side Dagney hit the ice cold water and was sumerged by the waves as she struggled to get to the surface but the crashing waves drug her down she clawed at the water before the darkness took her.

Dagney gasped for air as she opened her eyes Olin and Coden were hovering over her, she was back in the boat it was still raining and she looked around she saw her father pulling a young man into the boat "Are you okay" Colden said as he sat her up.

"Yes im okay, what happened?"

"The boat capsized you and a few others were thrown over board" he held up the rope " dont worry i got you"

"Quick thinking Colden" Olin said as he slapped him on the back.

" How many were thrown?"

"Seven including you"

"did they all get back in the boat" Dani said quitely

"Five did, two were lost to the sea." Olin said to her.

Dani looked around at the sea weiry men they were dying because of her, they were risking their lives for her. She thought to herself was she worth it. She sat against the side of the boat for a long while the rain had stoped and the sun was setting beneth the sea as she watched the light disapear she turned her head to the night sky and watched the stars untill her exsaution took her over and she fell into a restless sleep. par

Opening her eyes she looked over the side of the boat her heart beat quickened land she saw land in the distance. she looked around at the men most were asleep, she went to her father.

"Father land i see Avaldsnes."

"Really " Rangvaldr said getting to his feet " Get up men we are home get the ores"

Dani couldnt hide her excitement she was home finally after all these years she was free and back in Avaldsnes. As they reached the docks Dani saw the people gathering around, she serched the faces for her mother. Colden grabbed her hand and looked down at her as he lifted his hand she looked in the direction he was pointing. There on the shore she saw her mother Thyra walking toward the dock. "Mother" she wispered to herself.

The Boat was barely at the dock before Dani jumped out and started running to her mother tears streamed down her face "Dagney, Dagney" her mother cried as she ran to meet her daughter. " Mother " She called out as her mother wrapped her arms around her holding her tight. She was home, safe she had her family back. Dani was crying when her father and brother came up behind her her father wrapped his arms around them and pulled them close. Odin has answered their prayers Dagney is alive,she was home.

Sitting in the Great hall of her fathers home a feast was being served in celebration of her home coming. The women of the village all came making a fuss over her giving her dresses they made and grabbing her hair and face saying how beautiful she was, Men trying to convince her father their sons would make good husbands to her. Dani's face grew hot she couldnt breathe she needed air. Getting to her feet she searched for an opening to get out she needed air she needed to be alone. 

"Come with me" Colden said from behind her his hand on her lower back he guided her to the door.par

"Thank you" She said when they walked into the night air, the air was cold it felt good against her hot skin. 

"You looked like you needed out of there, they are just happy to see you and trying to make you feel welcome."

"Its alot to take in so fast." 

"They mean well, Come walk with me."

"I know they do, Im just overwhelmed."

Colden put his hand on her lower back as they walked tword the beach. They talk about his life in Hedeby and how Olin was trying to marry his sister Frejia, They talked about what had happened to her and her life in england. They talked about everything but what happened between them in the woods. For Dagney it was a way to take control over her life agian for so long she didnt have a say in her life, she was trapped. Now she was free and needed to do something freeing for herself.
