After classes were over, we sat at our usual spot. "Why was Chan here?" Hyunjin asked, with curiosity written on his face. "He had some business meeting with the chairman," Doyeon said, putting her phone away. "Isn't the chairman married to his sister?" Yeji asked, "Yep, there's trouble in paradise for those two." Ryujin said I look over at Seungmin. He was annoyed by our conversation. "So, Christopher wants us to hang out. I thought that we could meet at the bowling alley." Doyeon said, getting her phone ready to text Christopher the details.
A sigh escapes from Seungmin's lips. "Count me out," he said, getting up leaving, I look at the others confused, "Why does Seungmin hate Christopher? Aren't they friends?" I asked Sanha turns to look at Eunwoo then at Doyeon. "Seungmin doesn't hate him...their history is complicated, and I think you should hear it come him," Ryujin said we got up and left for the parking lot. "That woman doesn't give up...she's done enough damage," Doyeon said with arms crossed. I glance up to see Seungmin talking to a model-like woman by a red Mercedes Benz.
"Whose that?" I asked, "That right; there is a reason why Seungmin and Christopher have a complicated history." Ryujin said by the expression on their faces; they hated scratch that they despise her. "Seungmin!" Hyunjin called out; he turns around to look at us. "Come on, Mitzi, let's go wait for Seungmin in your car," Ryujin said, grabbing my forearm, We walk to my car. "Ryujin...why do you guys always try to avoid my questions about Christopher Bang?" I asked, leaning against the car.
"Seungmin doesn't want us getting you involved with him." She said with a sigh. I rolled my eyes "Am I some kind of object or pet? I am allowed to get involved with whoever I want when I please." I said as the car got unlocked I got inside the vehicle, Ryujin could sense that I was furious of what I just heard. I fasten my seat belt, Seungmin got inside and started the car.
During the drive to the apartments, Ryujin tried to lighten up the mood in the car but failed. I didn't blame her; it's not her fault, a sigh escaped my lip. Seungmin had parked the car, as he turned off the engine he glanced over at me. I avoided his gaze because I knew if I look into his eyes, I would forget about the talk I had with Ryujin.
Ryujin had gotten out of the car, leaving just us two, "Don't go to the bowling alley." he said. I turn to look at him. "Are you serious right now," I said, feeling piqued by his words. I got out of the car and extended my hand out; he places the keys in my palm. "Please, Mitzi," he said as I made sure the vehicle was locked. I shook my head lightly before walking inside the lobby. Ryujin had a concerned look, "You know you should talk to your brother about that I have the right to go wherever I want and pleased to meet whoever I want." I said with an irritated tone before stepping inside the elevator.
"What happened?" Ryujin asked, glaring at Seungmin; as the elevator doors closed, I leaned against the wall letting my heart sink in a pit of darkness. Who does he think he is? He's not my boyfriend; He's no one to tell me what I can do or can not do. He's my friend, that's all.
I stepped inside the apartment, feeling sick and tired. My phone began to ring. I look at the caller ID Seungmin; I declined his call.
I sat on the couch as I stared at the black screen of the TV. I run my hands through my hair. What am I going to do? There are so many things happening all at once; I feel crazy. I can't keep up with everything. Oh, God!
6:30 pm
"I'm outside waiting," I said as Doyeon squealed over the phone. "Alright, Felix, and I will be there shortly." She said before hanging up. I lean against my car, "So I talked to my brother." I turn to see Ryujin in pajamas a sigh left my lips. "And?" I asked crossing my arms "Look, Mitzi, if you haven't noticed my brother has feelings for you...so I understand why he's acting that way." Ryujin said rolling her sleeves up.
"Ryujin...Seungmin has the right to have feelings but to tell me who I should and shouldn't talk to...he has no right." I said Doyeon's car came to sight "Come on M! Let's go." Doyeon called out I look at her then at Ryujin "I have to go." I said walking over to Doyeon's car, I opened the car door sliding inside. I put the seatbelt on "Is everything good?" Felix asked I look at him through the rearview mirror. "Yeah," I said turning to look out the window Ryujin walking towards Seungmin, Felix has driven away from the apartments.
"So who else is going to be there?" I asked fiddling with my keys, "Hmm...Chris will be there, Minho, Jisung, Yeji, Hyunjin, Changbin, and Woojin." Doyeon said as her fingers typed away on her phone. I let out a small sigh, a big neon blue sign with 'Bowling Alley'. Felix has parked in the parking garage, I step out of the car.
"Let's go," Doyeon said grabbing my forearm, I give her a small smile following her with Felix behind our trail. We step inside the building, it was dark but had some light shining. I look at Felix grabbing us a pair of bowling shoes, "Have you ever been bowling before?" He asked handing me a pair I shook my head lightly "Nope this would be my first time at a bowling alley." I said with a smile he chuckles. "Oh you guys made it thank god," Doyeon said I turn to see Christopher Bang...the man who somehow managed to look so damn hot while being so mysterious.
I bite my bottom slightly, "Mitzi." I turn to look at Felix "You're drooling." He whispered with a smirk plastered on his lips. I felt my cheeks heat up in embarrassment, "Look I get it Chan is attractive but you should know one thing..." I look at him with curiosity written on my face "He doesn't really open up to people." Felix continued I glance over at Christopher who was laughing with the others. Pure beauty yet mysteriously dark inside.
We had split into two teams, of course, Jeongin made us have a team name... team A was Christopher, Jeongin, Minho, Jisung, and Hyunjin. Team B was Doyeon, Felix, Yeji, Changbin, and Woojin, I told them that I didn't want to play so here I am sitting like a loner watching my friends play. "Are you sure you don't want to join us?" I glance up to Christopher sitting down next to me. "I'm sure beside I suck at bowling...or how Felix calls it a newbie," I said with a small smile.
My statement earned a chuckle from him, "A newbie. Hmm, maybe I could give you a couple of tips on how to play." He said I shook my head lightly "No it's fine...besides" I scoot a bit closer to him "I hate bowling." I whispered, "Don't tell Felix." I said he laughs as he places his index finger on his lips. I smile "Doyeon told me that you have been here for two months." He said I let out a sigh "Yeah." I said he gives me a small smile "How come I never saw you with them on nights like this." He said I look at him a bit dazed.
"Well um I spent most of my time studying and I never really like going out that much," I said mentally cursing at myself for lying to this beautiful creature. "I see...you're majoring in?" Christopher asked with his arms slightly crossed over his chest. "Oh, I'm studying to become a counselor for teens in need of help." I said with a smile "Really?" He asked "Yeah... I just really like helping teens who are having a hard time not only does it make me feel proud of what I'm doing but it makes me feel like I should be doing it like I was meant to guide the kids to a path where they can feel found and safe." I said realization hit me I'm babbling. I look at him with an apologetic look "I'm sorry...you probably found it annoying that I babbled on." I said covering my face in shame.
"No no don't apologize...it's actually great to hear that you're the kind of person who wants to help others in need." He said with a smile I felt shy all of sudden "I like that." He said I let out a small nervous laugh, I turn to look at Doyeon who was busy bowling with Felix and the others.
I look at the time on my phone at 9pm "Are you hungry?" Christopher asked I look at him "To be honest yes... I am." I said he smiles "Well we're going to a diner nearby...tell what is it that you want to eat?" He asked as we walk to the front desk dropping off the shoes. "Hmm well since it's a diner I could go for a shake and a cheeseburger." I said Doyeon wraps her arm over my shoulder "You'll finally be eating some actual food and some weird salad." She said with a smirk I nudged her side lightly.
We walk out of the bowling alley "No! You have to the whole series of Game Of Thrones you just can't watch one season then stop." Felix said as he scolded me and Changbin about not continuing his favorite series. I shook my head slightly "I don't know...after the first season I just got bored and I don't know." I said as we all walk to the diner. "Yah!" Felix was not mad the others burst into fits of laughter at his sudden outburst.
"Christopher...ahh I see that you all are also here." A beautiful gorgeous woman made us halt, the whole mood suddenly changed from a cheery to sour. I look at Felix a bit confused by the sudden change. "Mona...what are you doing out of the cage?" Doyeon asked "Cage? Yah! Are you crazy?" Mona asked I was dazed and confused from all of this should I leave because this seems personal to all of them and I have no right to be here.
I look at Felix "I think I should go and wait inside...this seems personal for you guys and I have no right to meddle in." I whispered to him walking pass them all but I felt someone grab my forearm. "Mona I think you leave you're making everyone here uncomfortable," Christopher said I turn to his hand was holding my forearm I look at the gorgeous woman. The look she gave me made me feel nervous and ashamed of myself, I pulled my arm away before stepping inside the diner.
I walk to the restrooms stepping into the ladies' room. Why did she give me that look? Did I do something wrong for her to give me that look? Too many questions were unanswered.
