When Odo left the shrine he headed back to his house and while he sat down to think about his life he wondered why everything decided to then against him at the same time. He found out he could not rest properly and when he remembered what the seer said about him locating the place called the lords he wondered if he would be able to go there and return alive. He made up his mind that he would embark on the journey to the lords that day. He began his preparations and left before it was evening time.
Upon arriving in a town which the seer told him he would pass before entering the land of the lords he met a woman farming and decided to speak to her, probably ask her the road that lead the land of the lords. When he met the woman and asked her the woman was shocked as she looked sideways and them asked, "Are you a spirit or a human?" After she had asked this question Odo laughed and then told her that he was a human being and that he was directed to go that land. The woman then told him that there was no way that leads to the land of the lords. Just then Odo remembered a portion that was given to him by the seer and he brought it out and upon looking at it he looked up and could no longer see the woman. He found himself in a lonely place and a man walking straight at him. When the man reached where he was standing he stood before him. "My name is Sama and I am the lord spirit. I am glad that you came. Now that you have taken this risk I will not go on asking you further if you will treat your family well or not. What you have experienced is real and you must know that I am real too. Go home. Your wife and child are at your house" The lord spirit disappeared and Odo woke up from his bed. He looked around and wondered if it was a dream. He stood up and went to check on his wife and found her sound asleep and his son sleeping beside her. He shook his head and promised to show love to his wife and child till death.
? THIS IS ANOTHER STORY ?
Two sisters decided to pay a prophetess a visit to know which one of them was going to be greater than the other. This idea was born by the elder sister named Chinaza. Chinaza brought this idea because she had seen in a dream where an elderly man appeared to her and told her that one day she would bow down to her younger sister Buchi. Buchi was a cool headed girl whom everybody in the village of Afanti loved so much. They would always need her council because they considered her so wise and so kind. This issue became a thing of norm; People, young and old would come to her for advise and Buchi would always give them her time. Most times she would even dedicate her time to make them feel loved by telling them stories to make them feel a bit more cheerful about themselves. This became a nightmare to Chinaza and she decided to be sure of what the old man told her in her dream. This hence became the reason she decided that both of them go to a seer and find out what the future held in store for them. Buchi at first did not agree saying that she was not troubled or anxious to find out what the gods had in store for her but Chinaza kept on pressurising her. At that point she agreed and on their way Chinaza had other intentions; to kill Buchi on the way and claim that wife animals had devoured her. Upon their entering the shrine of the prophetess the prophetess looked at Buchi and exclaimed that greatness was in her blood. She nearly bowed before Buchi who appeared confused and unexpected of what happened. The prophetesses then looked at Chinaza and said. "But your heart is so darkened and you have already made plans on how to kill your only sister because you are scared of what she would become. Destiny can be delayed they say but it can never be stopped. You have brought your sister to this place and no one knew where you both were going because you intend to kill her on your way home. You have this evil intention in case your visit here did not favour you. I am going to tell you this and I am going to tell you plainly. Your sister is above you and she is the one you will work for. She is a leader chosen by the goes of Afanti and there is nothing anyone can do to terminate what the gods have started in her life. You on the other hand will not be able to return home with Buchi because you have chosen to be deadlier than the venom of a viper. You will remain here with me and may be one day you will find love in your heart for you sister" When the prophetess was done saying this Buchi could not believe all that she just heard. She was about to challenge the Prophetess for accusing her sister but then the prophetess began to tell her things she knew which she had never shared with anybody. It was then and that time that Buchi knew that the prophetess was not lying about Chinaza and her bad intentions towards her. As Chinaza was aware that her evil intentions had been detected she seized Buchi by the neck and was trying to strangle her to death. Buchi was already loosing her breath when the prophetess came to her rescue and struck Chinaza to the ground. Chinaza died immediately while Buchi remained standing and holding onto her neck and crying for her dead sister.
Upon Buchi's return to the village the prophetess who had followed her explained to the villagers what happened and they believed because most villagers in the past had begun to notice the envy in the heart of Chinaza and so Buchi received all the blessings the gods promised her. The people were so elated with her presence.
