“Yeah, Arnold gave me his number before he sent us to the Palace, then he texted us Theori’s number. I’ll share it with you but for this particular event I’ll call her tomorrow morning because she’s already meet me.” “That makes sense, when we have everyone in the palace we will make sure that there are more than one way to contact people.” After we were done, we just sat there in silence for about 10 minutes before going back inside. I grabbed a pencil and some paper and we started writing out a day by day to do list. Today is a Monday, we are getting married on Sunday. ————— Monday: - Pick the venue - Pick the decorations - Arrange how to place the decorations - Choose the menu - Pick the criteria for our wedding outfits - The criteria for guests outfits Tuesday: - Notify the country - Give our plans to whoever is decorating - Ask Theori if she can make our wedding outfits - Write the invitations Wednesday: - Pick the cake - Plan for the menu - Pick music to be played - Find someone to play the music Thursday: - Paperwork - Pick the wedding ring - Preparing the palace to possibly house 2’000 extra guest for a week starting Friday. Friday: - Begin decorating the venue - Trying on our outfits and getting them. Saturday: Preparing last minute details. Sunday: - Reception ———— I sent the list to Hannah. As Rain and I were starting to get ready for the decorations and venue planning. I opened a group chat with the 3 of us specifically for the wedding. It’s also just my best friend, my fiancé and me so we were going to have this group chat one way or another. She told me to send her the picture of the venue when it was completed but K found a place, in this world that had a website that allowed us to pick wedding venues and decorations from the site and decorate the room online then send it to the decorators. So that way we just need to confirm all the decorations, venue and arrangements, including time and date of wedding reception then the others will take care of the rest. Of course even when we are done this, I will still send a copy to Hannah so she can overlook the preparations and make sure things are exactly how I want it. So we go onto the website and thoroughly look at each site and end up picking the Royal Wedding Hall. The place where all royals get married. We spent the next 3 hours perfectly arranged the venue and submitted it to the decorators and to Hannah. It’ll be great having Hannah micromanage. She’ll make sure everything is perfect. We quickly decided on the menu, traditional Valexteenian wedding meals with a twist of North America. ———- Appetizers Kolim Harix Fresh bake bread Mains Malikor French onion soup Desserts Cheese cakes Forkame ———- This was going to be a great wedding. I almost can’t believe it’s my own. After the list was done Rain sent it to the head chef so that the kitchen staff can make as many preparations ahead of time as possible. I’ll talk to Eli about it tomorrow after I ask Theori about the outfits. “The only thing left for today is the outfit stuff.” “We’re doing great for people who’ve never planned a wedding, especially with the time limit.” “Especially because your Valexteenian weddings are so much different than our wedding. But luckily you have places that will decorate for you plus the palace kitchen will cook for us.” He smiled and shrugged, “Perks of being a prince. You’ll get them soon enough.” “No I won’t, because don’t we also have to plan your coronation to become king of Valexteen.” “Nope someone else will do that for us. Plus it’s not my coronation it’s our coronations. Because we get married first we will both be able to transfer titles to king together.” “Well, lucky me. Looks like I’ll have to take ‘How to run a kingdom with my husband 101.” He heard the sarcasm in my voice and laughed really hard. “I’m serious, I know nothing about this. Running a kingdom, fighting, anything.” “I will teach you as we go. Plus Aces get a job in the kingdom no matter what they do/ did previous to becoming an Ace. So Theori might become our seamstress and so on. You’ll just have a more important role as King.” “So what will we wear?” “Traditional style, modern colours?” “Like the sound of that. What colour?” “Rainbow! We already have the gayest wedding why not add the outfits to the list?” “Sounds good to me. Plus I figured out how to get my family here. I still need to figure out how to get Eli to make our food.” “Well, I’m glad you got your family’s issue figure out at least.” “Okay so I’m asking Theori to make us traditional wedding clothes in rainbow colours for the wedding. Writing the invitations for our families and Aces.”
