CHAPTER 13 - BE BACK SOON

Seeing the surprise look of Jessy and that Jessy did not say anything, Liam got tensed.

"I am in no rush, just take your time to think about it. I don’t need your answer now.” Liam said calmly hoping to hear a response from Jessy.

Jessy then looked at Liam and asked “Why? You barely know me; I don’t think I even deserve to be known by you how much more to be with you." Jessy paused and sighed as she memories of her past came coming back.

She wanted to be with Liam, she yearns for him, she wants to get to know him more but a part if her is telling her she can't.

"I'm a nobody with a wrecked past, but you. I may not really know what you do, or who you really are but I’m not that ignorant not to notice that you are someone, someone with bold and big background. Someone who has achieved more than anybody else. Someone who is respected and adored by people around you.”

Liam touched Jessy's face and held it dearly. “I may have known you for a short time, but I am certain with what I said. You may be a nobody to them, but you’re somebody to me.” He looked at her in the eyes full of love and passion. “I just knew you are the one I have been waiting for my whole life the moment I saw you. You may not agree with me, but trust me. I am certain about what I feel."

Jessy was dumbfounded and was left in awe. She just looked in his eyes and can see his sincerity, she held a feeling she never felt before with Jacob, a feeling of security, peace and acceptance. So, Jessy gave Liam a nod and a smile.

Liam gave Jessy his coat as the temperature dropped. They stayed there for some time and decided to head home right after.

At the Hyatt Residence, Liam didn't went inside since he still has to prepare his things for his trip. If he was to choose he would want to stay a bit longer with Jessy.

Liam just stood by the door and bid Jessy goodbye but before he could leave, he was stopped by Jessy.

She grabbed his hands and said “Liam... please wait for me.” She then let go of his hand and bowed her head. “I just don’t want to be unfair to you. I want to clear out all my thoughts and once I am sure I am done with Jacob then I will tell you.”

Liam grabbed her by the waist and wrapped her in his warm embrace. He then leaned his head on Jessy's shoulders and whispered. “I told you, I am in no rush. I will wait for you until you are ready to accept me.”

“Thank you.” Jessy said as a tear fell from her eyes, Liam pulled his self away and wiped the tear on Jessy's face as he gave her a gentle kiss on the forehead.

Liam then gestured to Jessy to get in, as she entered the suite Liam also left.

Inside the Suite, Jessy leaned by the door as she thought of everything that just happened. She couldn’t identify if all these is real. But there is no doubt she is happy, as if all the hurt and ache she felt for the past few months have slowly healed because of Liam.

“But, am I really ready to love again? I mean am I worthy to be with him?” she thought as she walked up and prepared herself to sleep.

At Liam’s pad, he immediately packed his things before he prepared himself to rest. But before he could shut his eyes he thought of Jessy, of what she said to him. He was determined to have her, and he will do whatever it takes for her to accept him.

Worried for Jessy's safety while he is away, he called Jack and instructed him to assign someone to look after Jessy while he is still on his trip.

“Make sure nothing happens to her. Let them be close enough to see her but not to the point that she will notice them. Also, coordinate with the people from the recruitment team, since I’ll be telling Jessy that she got an interview with the LSS Designs Corp. I want no special treatment but have them check if she is suitable for the Senior Design Manager position.” He instructed Jack as he immediately hang up.

The LSS Designs Corp is the Leading fashion company in the country and one of the top in the entire Asia. It is owned by Liam's family, the Spencer, also the richest in the Country and in Asia with over 5 different companies and branches all over the world.

The next day, Jessy woke up early. She immediately washed up and took her phone. She wanted to send off Liam to the airport but since he didn’t invited her, she didn’t open it up. Instead, she dialed his number and called him. After a few rings he answered.

“Hi! Did I disturb you?” Jessy asked nervously thinking why on earth she even called him that early.

“No, not at all. I’m on my way to the airport actually. Has your food arrived? I wasn’t able to drop by since I don’t want to disturb you this early. But you actually woke up very early.”

“Uhmm, yes. I didn’t know what time you will leave so I woke up early to call you. You ordered food?”

“Oh, I should have dropped by!” Liam laughed. “Yes, since i'm sure you wont eat breakfast so I ordered in advance and I realized your stocks were only good for 2 weeks and I have been eating there. And it’s almost a month since you went out to buy stocks so I thought of buying your food.”

“Oh! It's because I'm used to eating brunch if you're not around and yeah I forgot about my stocks as well.” Jessy laughed faintly “Thank you. Uhmm, Liam I actually called because I just wanted to say have a safe trip and be back soon. I forgot to tell you that last night.”

“Thank you, I surely will. I’ll call you when I arrive. Take care then. and don't forget to eat.”

“You too, bye.” Then Jessy hang up.

Suddenly the doorbell rang and it was the food that Liam said. It was a set of food good for the entire day. “How sweet, he said just breakfast but this is like a feast and he never forgets what I like.” Jessy smiled.

When Liam got settled at the plane, he took out his laptop and did some work. Suddenly he noticed the weather update that it would be rainy today at the city. He closed his laptop and scribbled a long list and he handed it to Jack.

“Ask 1 of our staff to buy these goods and have it delivered to the Suite in Hyatt Residence”. He instructed Jack

“Are these for Miss Jessy sir?” Jack asked smirking as if teasing.

“Who do you think?! Can you just do what I told you to do. Do you have to ask?!” Liam answered angrily

Jack smiled and nodded as he headed back to his seat as he did what Liam told him to do.
