Chapter 3

Eira

After I prepared all the sandwiches, milk and coffee I immediately put them in a push cart and pushed it into my Dad’s office. And then immediately knocked on the door.

"Come in," I heard Daddy's voice say. I immediately opened the door.

"Good evening, Mom and Dad," I greeted them when I entered. I immediately put the food I had brought on their table.

"My God! Eira you make your mommy worried. Why did you came home so late?" Mom said and then she hugged me tightly.

"I'm sorry Mom, I just have to finished my school work that's why I came home late. Forgive me, Mom," I replied with a smile.

"Okay. Talk to your Dad. Good luck," Mom said before she turned her back on me and started eating the sandwich I had brought. Dad didn't pay attention to me and I knew he was upset with me because I didn't get home early.

"Dad, are you mad at me?" I asked even though it was obvious and then I brought the coffee to him.

"You can't pay me with the coffee, Eira," he replied angrily. I lower my head when I feel sad knowing that he's mad at me.

"I'm sorry, Dad. Please, don't be mad at me. I promise, I won't do it again. Next time, I'll tell you when I'll be late," I promised. He immediately looked at me.

"You know why we're doing this to you. We're just protecting you, Eira," he said angrily. I bowed again because I knew their intention.

"I'm really sorry, Dad. I'm sorry," I seriously apologized as I bowed.

"Hon, just forgive Eira. Can you stand that? Just look at how your daughter looks like," I heard Mom say. I secretly smiled because I knew I had an ally.

"Don't do that again, okay? Otherwise the bodyguard will actually accompany you, Eira. I'm not kidding this time," he said politely. I smiled and then nodded quickly.

"Yes, Daddy. I promise," I replied cheerfully. Daddy shuddered as there was a smile on his lips.

"All right, go to sleep now because it's already too late," he said. I nodded and then got up to give him and Mom a good night kiss. I had already pushed the push cart towards the door because I had made a lot of sandwiches before. But before I could get out I turned to them again.

"Please,take your rest too," I said then I went out to go to the kids room. When I got there I slowly opened the door.

"Oh? Why aren't you sleeping yet?" I asked in astonishment. In the kids room, all the children of Pack members and high Rank are sleeping together.

"It's because you haven't sung to us yet," replied one of the children. I nodded because I come here every night to read them bedtimes stories and then sing to them before going to bed.

"Sister Eira, why are you home late?" asked Kianna, my baby sister. I smiled because she frowned when she asked.

"Your sister needs to finish something in school so I can't go home right away. All right. Drink some milk now and there's also a sandwich if you want to eat. When you're done, your sister will sing a song so you can all sleep," smiling I replied.

They immediately obeyed to what I said. Soon after I waited for them, they finished eating as well. And then they immediately went to bed.

There are twenty-five kids in the room. Their ages are from six to thirteen and Kianna is the youngest of them because she is only four years old.

After they all lay down, I started singing while Kianna was next to me and stroking her hair. I smiled when I finished singing and found them all fell asleep. I love kids so much! Their smiles can dispelled bad vives. When I was sure that they were all asleep, I picked up Kianna because she would sleep next to me.

But before going out, I turned off the light first so that the light from the lamp shade would illuminate the room.

"Good night kids. Sweet dreams everyone," I said goodbye to the sleeping kids before I slowly closed the door. I went to Kianna's room while she was still on my shoulder.

Dad's house has a third floors. On the first floor is the living room, kitchen and dinning area. While on the second floor is the meeting room, Dad's office, study room, entertainment room and all the bedrooms. The Alpha and Luna's room, brother Kiel's room, me and Kianna's room, kids room, guest room and room of pack members.

The Beta, Gamma and their family. And on the third floor is the training room and gym. Dad and Mom want every one in the pack to be a family member. That is why this house is full of life because everyone is welcome here. My Dad and Mom knows every one in the pack. And we love them dearly.

Just like the respect and loyalty they give to our family. That is why our pack is one of the most powerful packs, not because we kill our enemy. It's because of the loyalty of the family packs to us.

And the motto of our pack is "We are one". Silver moon pack is composed of one thousand werewolves.

Dad was able to command them all of with just one word. Because Dad is kind and he goes through everything in democracy. Because he said that violence is a destruction. In just a few seconds I reached Kianna and my room. I carefully laid her on the bed and immediately hugged her.

"Good night, baby," I whispered and give her kissed on the cheeks. After fixing her on the bed, I went to the bathroom to take a half bath as well. Soon, I also came out of the bathroom and immediately lay down next to Kianna.

I don't know how many hours I slept but I was stunned by the noise around me. I quickly sat up in bed, and from inside I could hear the sound of people running out of my room. They seemed to be in a commotion which surprised me even more. But even before I could go out and ask a question, I heard a loud knock on my bedroom door. I quickly got off the bed to open the door. Mom greeted me in a hurry.

"Mom? What's going on?" I asked in astonishment.

"Rouges attack us, Eira. Hurry up. Wake up Kianna now because you need to get out of here, " Mom replied. There was a fear in her voice. From what I heard, I quickly feel awake. I quickly picked up Kianna and never try to woke her up. Mom was still at the door and seemed to be watching around.

"Mom, those kids in the kids room. How about them?" I asked as I remembered the other children.

"I'll go and get them. But you can go to the secret passage now. There's no time, Eira. Move quickly," Mom said hurriedly.

"But mom ..." I didn't know what to say because I was already wrapped up by the fear. I put Kianna down on the bed again to put on a jacket and wrapped a blanket around my sister.

"Promise me, Eira. Promise me that you and Kianna will be safe no matter what happens," Mom cried. I nodded immediately. When Mom pushed me out of the room I could do nothing but to get out of there as well. When we got away from her, she started to ran to the other side.
