Chapter 5

Gray's Pov

"Take her to the dungeon," Alpha commanded authoritatively and then he slammed the woman to the ground. Shee immediately lost consciousness. I don’t want to follow Alpha. Because the woman in front of me didn't do anything bad, but it was also good because I will take her to the dungeon. But I just wonder why there? The woman slapped Alpha. He must have been kill her just as soon as she was slapped by her and that when alpha's hit her. He can do that. That's what he always does to everyone who disobeys him. He will kill anyone without thinking twice. He has no mercy. He doesn't care with anyone. So now I wonder how this woman in front of me is still alive. I think, she is the one for Alpha. Because she was the first person to dare to shout at Alpha and even worse she was able to slap him. Because all of us around him are afraid of his ability.

Because he's a living BEAST !! He has no HEART, no EMOTIONS. That's how we know the Alpha Amon Blaze. The other Alpha's used to call him a MONSTER and a DEMON. But they do not know what happened before. Alpha wasn't like that when we were kids. He just needs to change into who he is right now. For the pack and to protect the rest of him as well. He need to change.

"Ouch ..." the woman said when she suddenly woke up. I immediately approached her. I do not know. But I was really light -hearted with her so I wasn't able to hurt her a while ago. Because her face is so innocent. She was like an angel descending from the heaven. And can even add more her smile on me earlier. That smile that can melt even the toughest person she was facing.

"You alright?" I curiously asked. Wow Gray, that's a nice question. I had already seen what Alpha had done to her but that was still my kind of question? Just great.

"I'm okay," the woman replied and smiled. Huh? Like what the f*ck? After all that has happened to her does she still get to smile like that? What's wrong with her?

"Why are you smiling?" I asked in astonishment. She looks so weird.

"I'm smiling because, first is I'm still alive, second, my sister is safe and third is because I know you're kind," the woman replied with a smile. Is she still normal? What the h*ll? Me? Kind? Since when? When have I been kind?

"How can you say I'm nice? You don't even know me," I asked, frowning. This woman's attitude is really amazing.

"I can say that you are kind because you saved me from that man who was always shouting and you also didn't mention about my sister. That's reason is enough for me to say you are kind," she replied with a smile. I just noticed that this woman's has tendency to smile. Strange.

"Okay. If you say so," was all I could answer.

" What's your name?" the woman asked. She smiled again.

"My name is Gray Collins, the Beta of this pack," I answered to introduce myself. I don't know why but it just came out of my mouth suddenly.

"And I'm Eira Frostine. Nice to meet you, Gray," she smiled again. Did you know that her ear -reaching smile is contagious? Yes. Because she suddenly made me smile.

"Same here, Eira," I replied. I smiled and she smiled as well. It seems to make sense. At that point I realized that she didn’t fit to stay in this kind of place. I approached her and suddenly pulled her upright.

"Come on, you need to escape from here!" I said hurriedly as she pulled away. I was just stunned when she also pulled her hand back and then spoke loudly.

"No! You can't do this. Your Alpha said that you will take me to the Dungeon, right? Gray, you'll only put yourself in danger if you make me run away," she said worriedly. And she still really thought of me instead of saving herself.

"But you're dangerous here in our pack. You're not safe in this place," I sternly replied.

"I'm okay. You're not going to let me get hurt, are you?" She still insists. She really easily get to trust.

"Why do you trust me that easily?" I asked directly.

"Because your my friend now," she proudly said. She's on smiling face again. What she just said? Friend? Who? Me? When we become friend? Oh God. She's so weird! Reallly weird.

"So? Let's go? Take me to the dungeon before your alpha will get angry again," she said laughing. I just smiled while shaking.

"That's for sure. Alpha is always angry especially when he's in beast mode," I replied as we walked towards the pack house.

"Why? Even when after just awake from sleep, he's angry right away? Is he okay?" She curiously asked.

"Sometimes. Especially if you ask Alpha like that," I replied causing her to be quiet. Maybe scared or just thinking.

"Did you know before, when he was choking me I could read in his eyes that he was very sad. I feel as if all the problems of the world are already with him. The sadness in his eyes. I could feel ' the pain he feels, "she said sadly.

"Are you sure that's what you saw in Alpha's eyes?" Can't believe my own question. That's impossible.

"Yes. I'm very sure of what I've seen. In fact, I regret why I answered him like that before, "she replied sadly. Like the h*ll? She almost died earlier and is she still guilty now? Wow. Just wow! I can't believe her.

"To stay alive here, you have to stay away from Alpha. Don't let him see you again because I don't know why he brought you back to life until now. I don't know what he plans on you so be careful," I remind her.

"But I feel like he won't really hurt me," she replied and then showed me her smiles again. This woman is really different. Doesn’t she know what kind of person he’s saying that to? Alpha has already hurt her but she would still think like that against him.

"Eira, Alpha is the kind of person who can kill his neighbor in just a second. He has no mercy. And he doesn't hesitate to kill," I shouted angrily so that she could understand. Annoying. She's so kind and that's annoying. She seemed surprised when my voice suddenly rose.

"But my heart says he won't hurt me," she whispered back.

"The heart of yours will kill you so listen to me," I replied annoyed.

"Okay bestfriend," she replied smiling again.

"Bestfriend? Who's bestfriend?" I asked in shock.

"You. You're the only one I'm talking to so from now on we'll be bestfriends," she smiled again. Doesn’t this woman get tired of smiling? Ayst! SHe is really different.

"I'll make a way for you to get out of here or at least get out of the dungeon. But it will take a long time before I can do that. I need time to prepare so you have to put up with it first," I said so she nodded.

"Thank you, Gray. Promise, I'll follow everything you told me so I don't get hurt," she replied before hugging me tightly. I was stunned and unable to move. I feel like I just breathed a sigh of relief when she walked away from me. We once entered the pack house with no one speaking. And I avoided her in everything Alpha could go so she wouldn't see and hurt her again. I don't want them to meet again because I know he will hurt Eira again. Eira is very kind and innocent. I don’t want Alpha to destroy her. I took her to the dungeon. For the first time, the Dungeon will be filled of of Blood moon. Because since Amon became the Alpha of the Blood moon, he has not been revived. He kills everyone who breaks the law immediately. No matter who else it is. He really doesn’t miss out. Whether it's royal blood or rouges, as long as he breaks the law and steps into his Kingdom for no good reason, he kills without hesitation. So he was feared by all the Alpha throughout the continent because he had no mercy.

Not because he’s the WEREWOLF king now. Otherwise, it is because he will kill when he wants to want to kill. No one can stop him from doing what he wants to do.

"Aren't you afraid here? It's so dark and you're all alone?" I ask. Because for a woman to stay alone in one place she will definitely be really scared.

"I'm not afraid, because fear doesn't do any good," she replied with a smile. Even when she saw how dark the dungeon was she still managed to smile. It was as if this woman's smile was as bright as the sun. I couldn’t help but mess up her hair.

"You really are different. Why did you even think of coming here?" I asked, shaking my head. She immediately entered the jail before facing me.

"Tonight at midnight, I'll bring you a blanket and food here," I promised.

"Don't bother, Gray. They might see you again and you'll be damned because of me. I'm okay here and I'm fine. I'm comfortable," she said. Tsk! This woman is unbelievable. Even if she is confined here she still has a guts to be positive and smile. I silently admire her personality .. Very beautiful woman and very kind hearted.

“As long as I make a way, I’ll get back to you here, "I stubbornly said.

"Okay. Thanks, Gray. All right, leave now because they might be looking for you out there. Always be careful," she said and then she went to the side and sat there. Even though I don't want to leave her alone there, I can't do anything else. I was able to turn my back on her because it was necessary.

But that day, I made a promise to myself. I will do anything to protect her from anyone who will harm her. Even in exchange for that is my life. I will save her in this hell. I will save her from alpha.
