The Alpha Beast

Chapter 6

Kiel Pov

We're doing our day and nights partrols outside the borders. Ever since we spotted unknown groups of wolves, rouges, or we have not been able to say what they really are, we are still watching the borders. It was as if they were looking for someone. But they do not enter our land.

"Young master, they're acting weird. And this time they're getting closer to the border," My Dad Beta's said to inform me. Along with our warriors, with the beta and gamma of the pack, we were still patrolling, even beyond midnight. We cannot be careless. We better be careful. I focus my atention to the groups of rouges that heading toward our pack borders. They are ten, others are not far away and just waiting for them. I contacted Dad using the mind link.

"Dad, they're getting into the pack," I immediately informed him.

"I'm coming, son. For now, stop them first," Dad answered to me. I turned my gaze back to the wolves. They split into five and lined up on each side and they made a passage in the middle. Three more wolves arrived but they were bigger than the first. Based on how they look I know they are the high ranks in their pack. They are Alpha, beta, and gamma.

"Young master, what will we do when they enter?" The beta mind link me.

"We will be asked them if what their purpose for coming here. Dad is coming too," I replied. The largest wolf of them shifts into human form. He is the alpha, with that look full of confidence and authority, I ca tell that he is the alpha. He looks like we’re just the same age and he looks like he had a bad purpose here in our pack. I also shifted into my human form. As soon as they entered, we immediately met them.

"What do you need in our territory?" I have a serious question that cause for them to stop and face us.

"We're looking for Alpha's possible mate, your pack is the next one we'll visit," replied the man to the Alpha's right.

"You're not allowed to enter our territory without any permission just to find your Alpha's mate. That's disrespectful to our pack!" Dad replied angrily. I did not notice him coming with the other warior from our pack.

"Tsk! I'm telling you, old man! Hand over your female now, before I got piss off and killed you all!" The Alpha answered coldly. That causes to alarmed us.

"You have no right to command Alpha Kenneth. You're in our territory, you just might forget about it," the beta replied.

"Just give it to me because I need it. So, there's no more trouble," insisted the alpha.

"I'm not going to give you anything, alpha Daniel. You can leave now," Dad said calmly.

"How dare you order me what to do, old man," Alpha Daniel growl at my Dad. That caused us to be alert behind Dad. We are ready for any attack. My dad growl at him too.

"Leave my land, Alpha Daniel. I don't want a war with your pack," Dad said, still calm.

"I will do whatever I want, old man. You can't stop me. No one can stop me," he said hard and then they entered our land. And that’s where the fight between us started. We are fighting each other. We do the neck bites and also broken bones. Everyone is strong. Fight for everyone life. It is like everyone are forbidden to give up because the only ones who give up are weak one.

They've already entered our pack so we're not really going to lose. Their way of fighting is brutal. Even though there were many of us they were still slowly beating us. We did our best to fight but their group was very strong. Dad and Alpha Daniel are fighting. Dad was strong and I knew he could fight Daniel. I called reinforcement at the pack house but they were still on their way. Many of our opponents, the wolves, also went out somewhere. It will be take quite a while before they get here so we are really having a hard time. This part of the forest became a battlefield in an instant.

I jumped up and bit the neck of a wolf as I kicked the wolf hard in the back. My fangs dug into his neck and then I broke his head. The fight was really brutal. Even though I am in human form I can also kill some wolves with just only my hands. The battle between us continued. That lasted until we suddenly heard a deafening noise.

"GROWL ...!" a frightening howl of the wolf in indifference we heard cause to stop everyone from fighting. The deafening noise came from behind our opponents. From my surrounding, I can smelled the difference smelled that was unfamiliar to me. Our opponents also stopped fighting with the wariors. In a few moments they slowly retreated as if they are terrified. Even me and even Dad were scared of that howl.

A growl that shook the ground. A very large wolf that I think was about six feet tall, it was white and his eyes were pitch black when he came out of the tree. He looked at us as if looking for someone. Moments later, his eyes stopped at Daniel who obviously scared as well. He walked closer to Daniel while Daniel walk backed away. When he was only about three feet away from Daniel, he suddenly barked loudly again.

"GROWL ..." he growled. He barked again, which made our opponents scared and run away. Even me, I was scared of him too. His eyes are as if he can bury you alive. Scary. He looked at Dad but after that he left immediately.

We followed him with our gaze until he disappeared again from the trees. He acted like he was in a hurry. I secretly talked to my Dad using the mind link. I just got curious about him.

"Dad? Who's that?" I asked.

"His name is Amon Blaze, the alpha of the blood moon pack," Dad answered that immediately scared me. I don't know why but I immediately feel scared. Blood moon? The most feared pack of the continent? The king of all alphas? Oh God! What he's doing here in our pack?

"Why did he help us, Dad?" I have one more question.

"Because he hates rouges," Dad replied sparingly. That was his only reason but why did he help us? To my knowledge, he has no reputation for helping our pack.

"Let's go back to the pack house. I know they'll be back again, Kiel. We need to be ready," Dad said and he ran ahead. We all immediately followed him.

Fortunately, the wounds inflicted by the other warriors were not too severe. A few minutes later we reached the pack house.

"Mom? Where are my siblings?" I asked as soon as we entered the house. Mom gave me a sad smile.

"Earlier, before I came to you, I told your Mom to get rid of Kianna and Eira. It's safer for them," Dad replied sadly.

"What? Dad. Why did you do that?" I can't believe with my question. A pure human and a child in the middle of the forest while there are fierce rouges around? Didn’t they think it would be more dangerous for them if they were outside? Oh God.

"We have no choice, son. They need to get out of here before the rouges get them," Dad replied sadly.

"But why Mom? I just can't understand why you let my siblings get stuck in such a dangerous situation?" I replied annoyed. I'm disgusted. Worried about what might happen to my two siblings who are out at this time.

"They're Daniel's target here, Kiel. He wants your sisters," Dad whispered back.

"Why? Why my sister's?" I asked confused. And then how did Dad know they were exactly what that Daniel needed.

"Before your sister came home earlier I called the witch who become your Mama's best friend to ask for help to find your sister. When she found out your sister's name she said something that was a vision. She said that your sister will he use to kill a monster. And the wolves that came today came here to get your sister, Kiel, "Dad explained, reason for me to calm down. I can't make any move. Will Eira be used to kill a monster? But why her?

"Why didn't you tell me right away? I wish I could have taken them to a safe place. It's not like this that you just sent them away without anyone to protect them outside." Frustrated, I answer.

"We don't have time for you to do that anymore, Kiel. They need to get away so that our opponents can't smell them anymore. I couldn't think straight either so I sent them away immediately," he replied sadly. Ayst! I felt annoyed. I could really kill that Daniel when something bad happened to my sisters. It was all his fault. Moments later, no one attempted to speak from us. But that silence was only broken when Dad's cellphone suddenly rang. We immediately looked at him.

"Hello. Yes, Dad?" Said my Dad. Grandpa was the caller. Dad turned on his cellphone into loudspeaker so we could hear their conversation.

"Some of my patrol man saw Kianna at the border. What happened in there, Kenneth?" Grandpa said immediately.

"We're under attack by the rogues, Dad. Is my two daughters okay?" Dad replied.

"Two? Kenneth, we only have kianna here," Grandpa replied in astonishment.

"Sh*t!" I was immediately depreciated. I never heard the rest of them talking because I immediately ran out of the pack house. If only Kianna was in their Grandpa's pack, where would Eira be now? Oh God. Please, save my sister.

"Young master ..." I heard our wariors call my attention. I seemed to be deaf and no one heard. I ignored them because of the intense fear I was feeling at that point. I quickly shifted into wolf form and ran into the woods.I will look for my sister no matter what happen. I won't stop until I see her.

Just be safe, Eira. Until your brother Kiel will find and save you.

Eira's Pov

After Gray left me, I just sat in the corner of the jail. It is very quiet in this place. I could hear no noise except for my breathing. I wonder what time is it? It's so dark here so I really can't see anything.

But I hope Kianna got to Grandpa's pack safely. I just hope that everything in our pack house is okay too. Hopefully, nothing bad happen to Gray because he helps me. I secretly prayed that everything would be okay.

"So quiet, maybe I'd better just sing," I said to myself. I really don't want the place to be so quiet because I just remember the day when my parents had an accident that cause for us to be separated. And every time I remember that, I just feel sad immediately.

I started singing my favorite song One Love. The song that Mama always sang to me back then. I just sang and sang until I felt drowsy.

"Why do I feel like someone is watching me?" I asked in a whisper. Or maybe it was just my imagination. Instead of noticing how I was feeling I just lay down on the floor and closed my eyes. But as I closed my eyes, I really felt as if someone was looking at me. Someone is watching me. I can feel it.
