Chapter 11: She smiled at him

Finally out of the building, August felt refreshed by the sweet sun that cascaded all over his cold body as it warmed his heart and brightened his soul.

With his eyes closed and arms spread out, he took a long deep breath before breathing out.

He was finally free, free like a bird and words couldn't describe how he felt at the moment.

Some White things started to fall on him causing him to blink curiously before it dawned on him. It was snowing. He looked up at the vast sky that was as blue as the ocean and nodded contently.. how long has it been since he witnessed a snowfall?

There were so many things that he wanted to do, no, he has always wanted to do them when he was alive but regrettably, he couldn't do them before his tragic death. Not that he had the gut to do some of them though.

August dusted his suit that was covered in snow before walking away, excitement and curiosity on his charming face.

Although there were so many things that he wanted to do, all of them could be summed into playing around.

Yes, having fun to the fullest since he doesn't know what might happen to him next in this world.

He didn't survive in a place where nobody cared about him, so what makes him think that he would survive here of all places that he was the center of attention? Let's see....

"Where to go, where to go......" August sang blissful as he continued walking aimlessly along the busy road.

"Hmm? Is that a taxi?" He widened his eyes curiously upon seeing several cars that was passing by with the word 'easy-lift' writing on them. But they don't look like a normal cab with how expensive the cars looked. Should he try?

Of course he will!

He extended his hand and waved at one of them and the driver instantly stopped before him.

"Where are you headed sir?"

Only the question alone was enough to confirm his notion about the strange cars. He smiled at the driver. "Take me to the nearest shopping mall"

"Yes sir"

Meanwhile, Mira got tired of waiting for August as she decided to look for him in the rest room. She couldn't enter since she was a lady so she secretly did what she knows how to do best. It's only few people that knew that she could do this and all of them knew how to resist her outrightly.

     That reminded her about her encounter with the love of her life August. He was one of the few people that knew her ability to hypnotize with just a touch from her. She has been trying to win his heart through this method but he always withstand her but for some reason unknown, she almost had her way with him today until an indescribable force sent her out of him. That she was rejected at the last seconds that she almost controlled his mind didn't surprise her. However, the fact that she almost gained access to his mind surprised her beyond words; it felt rewarding too. She's been trying for so many years now and the fact that she almost made it gave her so much joy and the motivation to continue pushing hard and harder.

"Hello handsome" She called out to a young security. The term that she used made her to slightly cringe, he wasn't even as handsome as his sweetheart.

"Yes ma'am" The boy bowed his head slightly as a sign of respect.

Who in this company doesn't know her? Thanks to the fact that she fell in love with a competent man and insisted on chasing him without let up; almost shamelessly.

She walked up to the boy and with her attitude overflowing with proudness, she extended her well manicured hand and grazed his shoulder. "Stop bowing and look at me" 

The boy instantly obeyed as he looked the goddess-like lady in the eyes. And just like that, the boy felt a shiver up his spine as a burning sensation flowed from his body to his brain till his sense of reasoning crumbled completely and all he could think about was the lady before him and obeying her. All it took was just seconds.

"What can do for you ma'am?" The boy asked with a blush

Awwww.....so cute. Maybe he could be my servicer sometime later, Mira thought. Today is definitely for his sweetheart since he finally granted her wish and a chance to work on her plan.

"Go in there and search all the rooms for August" She commanded.

"Yes ma'am" The boy replied before turning on his heels. He couldn't disobey her even though the name 'August' was something he shouldn't mess with. That was the effect of her handiwork in him, he couldn't resist no matter what.

Few minutes later, the boy came without any good result.

"He's nowhere to be found in there ma'am"

Mira's face contorted in anger before walking away. "F**k...you can escape from me today, but I bet you won't the next time you fall into my trap" She swore bitterly.

It wasn't until she finally disappeared from his sight that the boy regained his lost senses.

"What's happening to you? Why are you standing there like a fool?" Another guy in the same uniform as him asked.

"I-I..." The boy was about to recall what had just happened but unfortunately, he couldn't remember anything no matter how much he tried.

"You just what?" The other other asked.

"N-nothing" He shook his head in response.

"Are you okay?" The other asked worriedly as he noticed that things wasn't that alright with the other.

"I'm ok, you don't need to worry. Let's go back to work" The boy smiled reassuringly to the other.

Seeing the boy smile finally pacified the older man's worries, he patted him on the shoulder as the two returned back to work.

"We're here sir" The driver informed as he stopped in front of the most biggest complex he'd ever seen in his two lives. It looked expensive too.

"Why here?" August couldn't help but ask.

"Looking at you sir, I could see that you reek of riches and wealth. And this is where the likes of you comes to squander your money. But I wonder why you didn't order them from home instead" The taxi man explained shamelessly.

August couldn't say anything but to roll his eyes. What a short sighted man, you don't even know if I borrowed everything on my body, I don't even have a house of my own he thought inwardly.

"How much is my bill?" He asked.

"It's just 1,000 Silver coins" The man grinned.

August wanted to scream at the man because he felt that the man was a swindler, the distance from where he was picked up and this place wasn't even that far. However, he was forced to remain calm since he doesn't even understand the currency of this world.

He brought out the card that was in his pocket and paid. He felt a little bad for using the Prince's money but what can he do? There's no way he would survive here without spending some, right?

Back to the things he wanted to do. One of them was to be like one of those big guys you see in the movies; he wanted to be a superhero and that was why he was using his writing to support some people that was being cheated. Infact, August has always wondered if those people that he'd exposed had hand in his early and tragic death. Now that he has acquired a big body at last, he wanted to fulfill his second wish and then third wish; just that he's still a weakling inside the big body.

August rushed into the mall and went straight to the clothing section. He bought normal clothes that he changed into since the Prince's choice of dressing looked awfully intimidating.

    After changing into something casual and less attention seeking, he bought some for a change before heading out of the mall. 

      He caught a glimpse of his reflection from a mirror and grimaced silently. He has forgotten that he was now a changed man that could look outstandingly beautiful in anything he wears. August proceeded out of the mall and waved at another flashy taxi.

"We're are you headed sir?" The taxi man asked. This driver looked more younger than the first one hopefully this one won't swindle him more.

    "Take me to a place where a motorbikes is sold" August said as he entered the car.

Yes, his second wish was to be like those cool guys on TV, riding a motorbike like a superhero with black leather pants and jacket. But he would skip the dress as he doesn't want to look like a villain.

    They finally got to his destination and to August's surprise, the taxi man charged him lesser than the formal one. Even though the distance was farther than the first one, he collected just 500 silver coins.

    "Welcome to greenlight sir" A beautiful brunette girl asked as he walked into a tall green building. He was still busy gwaking at the beauty of the place when he heard her voice. 

    He looked to his left to see the owner of the voice flashing him the most attractive smile that he's ever received in his two lives. She had the smile that could brighten the whole place even more and the way her doe eyes sparkled amazed him the most. He smiled back at her and for the first time since he got transmitted to this place, August felt proud of his new body. 

    If it were to be his previous life, he wouldn't have come across such generosity from a charming lady. He winked at her and was rewarded by her red cheeks. Awesome!

August decided to go further by asking, "How about we ride the baby that am about to purchase together?"

The lady blushed harder as she ducked her head shyly which further increased August's rate of proudness.

She would have accepted the offer from the most charming man she's ever met but because she was still working, she'd to refuse the Prince's offer in a polite manner. "Sorry sir, but I have work to do"

"How about when you get off work?" August persisted.

The lady was about to reply when a man in black and white suit appeared from nowhere.
