“Are you sure about this? I mean, do you want me to continue?” I asked Athena while I looked straight into her silver eyes while a tear rolled down her cheek. It may sound absurd coming from my mouth, as every bit of my body wants to have her, but at the same time, I want to respect her decision. I don’t want to hurt her at any cost and if she wants to back out, then I might hold myself back for her sake.
‘You surely have changed, Hayden. Don’t you want to seal a bond with our mate? Are you scared that she might get hurt if you lose control and get too rough with her... or are you afraid that she might break into your arms? What’s exactly the problem here?’ I heard Zion’s voice inside my head and I was not sure how to answer him.
