Two years later.
The sss basin located in South America dries up. The basin covers a huge land, and it is also covered by rainforest. Due to human activity, the sss was on fire. People had always cleared the forest in order to farm, others for timbers. Human activity has led to burning across the basin.
Firefighters tried their best but the fires were more powerful. Helicopters have been used but the fires became ferocious and consumed the forest. sss is the major rainforest in the world. A solution had to be found because the burning of the forest will lead to a worldwide climate effect.
Many nations gave their contribution towards putting off the fires but all was in vain. Helicopters, firefighters, different technologies, and experts were sent to the Amazons but they could do nothing yet.
Toxic smoke covered the air, the countries within were all covered in smoke. It was a terrible sight to see. Drivers had to use headlights during the day, people had to use masks. The region stopped people from traveling because it was difficult to see where you were heading. It was really a tough moment for south Americans. The other parts of the world were left wondering how they could help in this tragic event.
Kenya was given the opportunity also to go and contribute to putting off the fires. Five hundred men went to South America without using airplanes. They went through the cave in Taita village, this alone brought controversy all over the world. How did five hundred men pass through the ocean from Africa to South America without using a ship or airplane? Many reporters tried to air such conspiracy theories but the world wanted the fires out and not how people traveled from one point to another.
“We are here to put the fires off” Pepo the general told his men with authority, “We are chosen to save this world, let us show the world who we are and what is our goal.”
The team was made of strong men only, they were putting on boots and army trousers with their chest open, no jackets at all. Their skin was shining from the sweat, heat, and light from the fires. Sweat dripped down their chest and shoulders and disappeared inside their trousers.
“Soldiers, you have been given powers to blow off the fires, go, go, go, blow the fires,” he said.
“Go, go, go, blow the fires,” the soldiers replied.
Pepo blew the horns so hard, the sound echoed high in the sky and the soldiers flew up and disappeared in the thick smoke. As they flew through the sss forest they blew a whitish substance to put off the fires.
All five hundred men were fighting with fires. They flew like the eagles and blew the fires off. The general, Mr. Pepo, commanded them where to start putting off the fires. The strategy was to stop the fires from the direction it was moving, they put the fires off against the direction it moved to, this helped stop the spread further.
“Move, move, move, put off the fire soldiers, let us finish this task.”
“Yes, General we are going to complete this soon.”
They flew from one end of the forest to another end of the forest. They managed to stop the spread of the fires and it was a great victory for the people. The sky was extremely dark due to smoke. The smoke choked anyone who inhaled it.
Animals had died, in large numbers. It was a sad season for them, seeing their own territory burn down and they could not help. It was like seeing your own villa burning down and you have nothing you can do to save your property.
Some choked to death, others got serious burns, and moaned in pain. It was a very painful sight to see, animal practitioners tried their best to save as many animals as they could.
Pepo and his soldiers were not yet done with their operation. The forest was still dangerous for people to go in because still, fire breathed inside.
They made an altar where they would offer a special sacrifice to appease God for rain. The rainmaker was among the five hundred and gave instructions on how the altar was supposed to be built. The altar was completed and cows were brought, seven were to be offered as a sacrifice.
The media was in place showing the world what exactly was taking place. Leaders from all corners of the world were present to witness all this. The locals were happy about the progress made by the team from Kenya.
The rainmaker took his place to conduct the ritual for appeasing God for rain. “People of South America, I greet you,” he shouted loudly.
He was holding a pot, to symbolize to God that the people are in need of rain. The pot is normally used to keep water, it makes the water very cold. Water from a pot normally gets into your nerves and calms them down, it quenches your thirst perfectly.
“Look at our sky,” he continued, people listened pensively.
“Look at what we have done to our nature? Where is our civility? We are now breathing intoxicated air because of our own destruction. We have destroyed our own environment, we have killed our animals and the ecosystem, what is wrong with us.”
The chants from the rainmaker were emotional and pierced the hearts of all who were listening. Everyone dropped their heads down in embarrassment, everyone felt guilty of what happened in the sss basin.
He continued, “Our innocent animals got burnt alive, they were not dead, they were alive. Imagine being burnt alive, that is barbaric and painful. Smell the air, it smells meat, it smells life of innocent animals. Why, why, why people of South America? Did you have to destroy what belongs to the whole world? The weather pattern of this planet has been destroyed by this tragic event.” He paused, some people shed tears, this was a sad day for the world and Amazons.
The altar was very big and the cows were brought forward for sacrifice. The seven cows were laid on the stones by the strong men from Kenya. The cows were slaughtered and the blood poured in the pot.
More life of animals was lost again, but this time was to appease God for more rain.
Back in Kenya, the president Mr. Mshapa, his wife Flora and vice president Lucia were following the proceedings from the statehouse. All they prayed for was a success to the revival of the Amazons. So far they have faced a lot of opposition but they are still fighting for their agenda of changing the world.
The rainmaker instructed the people to smear themselves with blood on their faces and all over the body before appeasing God with the offerings. Leaders and the people present did as instructed, the soldiers smeared their faces, chest, and shoulders with blood, God had to be appeased.
“Oh God, we come before thee with this special sacrifice. Seven cows we offer them unto you,” the altar was in a huge fire which was consuming the seven slaughtered cows.
As the rainmaker prayed to God holding the pot full of blood on air, the soldiers blew the horns, trumpets and played drums as if to catch God’s attention.
“Oh God, give us rain, to revive this forest which is in ashes. Clear our sky, we need to breathe fresh air. Hear our prayers, hear our cry, we are your children, forgive us. We have done wrong, your innocent animals have perished because of our negligence. We ask for your forgiveness, we ask for your blessings of rain. Your good people have been displaced because of the fires, their homes consumed by the fires. The environment has been altered by the fires, oh God give us rain. Give us rain, we need rain God. Hear our prayers oh God.”
The sky trembled, people heard the thunder. The rainmaker kept on appeasing God as he sprinkled the blood all over the ground. The land was thirsty, it has been on fire for several days, the soil is very hot and crying for some water to cool itself.
Cracks were seen all over the ground due to overheating, temperatures were high and the sky was thick dark due to smoke spreading all over the region.
The men after hearing the thunder, they increased their vigor in dancing, blowing the horns and trumpets and playing the drums. The people danced and shouted at God with humbleness to forgive them and make it rain immediately.
The skies screamed again, in response to the prays and sacrifice made by the people. Thunder and lightning struck again and the sky broke loose pouring out rain.
“Thank you God for accepting our sacrifice and answering our prayers,” the rainmaker moved around happy and dancing.
“God has forgiven us, cheered up, and praised Him for His greatness.” The rainmaker poured the remaining blood in the pot on his head and the blood was washed down to the ground by the rain. This demonstrated cleansing of the land and forgiveness and revival of the environment.
The forest also echoed in happiness as it sipped the rain in cheerfully. The ashes were washed into the ground, the hotness and red charcoal were put off by the rain.
People danced in happiness as the blood on their faces was washed away. They all became wet and danced with each other.
The sky cleared out very quickly, water is life, the rain brought life to sss again. Rain dripped off the smoke in the sky and it was once again clear.
As people looked down at the sss basin, they realized how huge damage was done by the fires. Few animals were seen that survived, some were extremely hurt, you could not even glance at them twice, what could be offered to them was quick mercy.
Living to them was not an option but at least they would die knowing the Amazons were restored and future generations would have an opportunity to survive.
Pepo and his men gathered together around the altar, the rainmaker stood in between them and chanted last thanks and they disappeared up the sky.
The Amazons have revived once again, several weeks the blackness and naked branches started to fade away as new fresh green branches started sprouting out. Animals started again to regain their territories, birds cheered around in happiness hoping that this mayhem will not happen again.
The PEAP agenda was still being pushed forward step by step and people started admiring what PEAP project was aiming at.
A problem was once again solved and the world healed.
