Chapter twenty-two - She is only a friend
Dean's POV: My brother has ditched everyone. Now, he doesn't want to talk with anyone. That includes Lesley and me. I know why he is doing it. I don't think this will help much. Distancing from people won't resolve the problem. It will be better if I stop worrying about him. He is old enough to make decisions by himself. I wish I could say the same about my mom. She thinks she did something to him. I had to explain to her what happened. This woman is in protective mode all the time. It's not like I mind. I'm glad she takes care of us. The thing is that she has other things to do. I think my mom needs to go out more often. Usually, her best friend is at home, or she goes to her house. There is nothing wrong with that.
