Chapter 1: Tracy Smith
I look forward to doing business with you"
Those were Tracy's words as she finally concluded the business deal with 'Toppers Enterprise' which she had been working on for months now
"We too Miss Tracy...sorry that the CEO could not be here for the final signing of the documents" the secretary to the CEO said apologetically.
"That's not a problem" Tracy smiled and continued "I'm just glad we could finally close this deal together... They'll be other avenues to meet the CEO in the future and I earnestly look forward to seeing the man that was able to build up an amazing company like this one in such a short span of time"
"Ah... Very true Miss Tracy" James the Secretary beamed with smiles and continued "I was also looking forward to meeting the woman behind the speedy success of 'Tremno companies' and you met and even exceeded my expectations" With eyes full of sincere admiration and praise he continued "and I can assure you that Mr Whyte will be pleased to make of your acquaintance
Tracy smiled and said " you're not bad yourself Mr James" but then she frowned a little and said "but this CEO of yours is really...." She paused for a moment trying to think of the right word to classify him
"Secretive...?" James tried to help her out
Tracy replied "Not exactly secretive... I would say extremely low key....like in all my years of being in the Industry, I have always heard of the outstanding Mr Whyte but I don't even know what he looks like... I was hoping to have my curiosity satisfied today but....."
James smiled and said:;
"I get that a lot Miss Tracy but my boss is someone who leads a quiet life....only his family members,his employees and those whom have been privileged to do business with him have actually seen and acknowledged the CEO and very soon Miss Tracy, you will also be part of that group.
" Thanks a lot Mr James for the little expo"she smiled and continued "Once again I look forward to doing business with you but I have to leave now in order to get to the airport in time for my flight" she stood up from the plush white sofa she had been sitting on and extended an arm to James for a handshake
Standing up and shaking her extended arm James said "its not so bad if you spend the night here Miss Tracy..... H-city has many 5-star hotels which you can pick from.....plus I heard that all flights to c-city has been cancelled so if you don't mind I can arrange for a hotel where you can spend..."
"That won't be necessary Mr James" Tracy carefully interrupted "my secretary here,Ann would be able to handle all the arrangements....but anyways" she smiled and finished "thanks for your concern
It was then that James remembered secretary Ann whom had been standing behind Tracy all this while. He smiled knowingly and said;
" OK I understand miss Tracy....." He turned to secretary Ann and said "I wish you both a safe journey"
Tracy smiled at James after which she exited the room followed quickly by Secretary Ann_________________________
