-------

Archer Woods has been in love with Sunniva ever since they were younger. He wants her as his Mate and Future Luna but the problem is that she’s human. Chapter 1
If anyone would have told her that she would be flat on her back, staring into the red eyes of an inhumanely large wolf nowhere near civilization, she would have laughed and said 'Maybe a deer, but a wolf? Impossible!' But of course, life had other plans for her. Her day started as normal as any teen in a small town. She woke up at the crack of dawn, took a shower, got dressed, and went downstairs to start cooking breakfast. Her mother was due back from her night shift at the Pharmacy and was most likely hungry. As expected, as soon as she finished making the bacon, eggs, and toast, her mother came in, dragging her feet along the floor as she sighed, releasing her dirty blonde curls from her ponytail. She dropped her purse and jacket on the bench and came over with a tired smile, her light brown eyes, though tired, still shined. "Thank you for making breakfast, is your brother up?" She asked, heading to the fridge to pull out some juice. Sunni shook her head as she grabbed a couple of cups from the cabinet. "I was just about to go wake him up." "No need, I'm already up." The two jumped as the boy slumped in the dining room chair, his head dropping at the table with a loud thud. Sunni winced as she brought a plate over to him before flicking the back of the curly brown hair. "Don't do that, you'll get a bruise and mess up that ugly mug of yours…. Well, too late I guess." Icy blue eyes glared up at her before the preteen flipped her off. "Calhoun Anderson, do not flip your sister off." Their mother said, her back still turned from them. Her mother always had that aura that commands others to listen. Her brother glared at Sunni as she laughed before starting to eat. Sitting down she grabs the butter from the container to spread on her toast. "Hey mom, is it still ok if I go to the preserve and watch the meteor shower?" Her mother hums as she sips at her coffee, coming to sit down next to them. "Only if you can take Cal to Michaels after school." Sunni nods as Cal protested "Mom I'm almost thirteen, I can ride my bik-" Thais silenced her son with a stern look before turning back to her coffee. "Also, make sure your phone's charged. I don't need to be stressed because you decided to be unprepared." Sunni rolled her eyes and gave a half-smile. "Ma, I'm dad's child, there's no need to worry when you were raised by the world's best woodsman.'' Thais smiled lovingly at the thought of their father before shaking her head. "That is true but your brother is also your father's child and he has no sense of being the woodsy type." They looked at Cal, whose head was back on the table, snoring away. The older woman gave a long look before ruffling his head. They quickly ate breakfast before Thais picked up their plates and placed them in the sink before shaking Cal awake. Sunni herself stood up and grabbed her bag and her longboard since it was sunny and warm this morning. "I gotta get to school to check on my project so take the bus and I'll pick you up later Cal! Love you guys!" She was out the door before she heard their response and hopped on her board. The ride was only twenty minutes since they lived a little aways from the town itself but it was always peaceful. She closed her eyes as she felt the wind blow on her, making her feel light as the sounds of the wheels scratched against the road, her body relaxed as the sun rays beat down on her. She mostly enjoyed the free pine scent from the surrounding woodland. Soon, the sounds of cars came and she opened her eyes, not too keen on getting hit. She waved to a few of the townspeople as they greeted her before slowing down as she came to a crossroad. Her school was in view as she rode along the sidewalk, being mindful of the pedestrians occupying the walkway as well. Birchwood High was home to a few hundred students, the school in-between two towns, hers and Birchwood itself. She still has no clue to this day why they decided to build it in her sleepy town of Buhlmark, considering Birchwood was way nicer but she didn't complain. She could sleep in more thanks to it. Hoping off her board, she raced up the steps and went through the metal double doors. Weaving through the growing sea of students, she managed to get to her locker without being smacked in the face by excited teens or the basketball team horsing around. Opening her locker, she curses as a bunch of paper fell from the metal box. Squaring down, she quickly gathered her papers and reached out to grab her essay when it was handed to her. Blinking slowly, she looked at the tanned hand and looked up into hazel eyes. In shock, Sunni stands up only for her head to hit the corner of her locker door. Kneeling back down, she places a hand on the site spot, giving a smothered whimper at the sharp pain before heat fills her face. Of course, she embarrasses herself in front of someone who's considered the top dog in the whole school. Archer Woods was the son of Birchwood's mayor and was highly popular because of his status. Even if he wasn't, she was sure that the school would still follow his beck and call with his looks. He was pretty much most girls’ dream guy. Tall, muscular, captain of the Basketball team, and top in the class academic-wise. And she was pretty sure she could see a tattoo peeking out on the back of his neck, barely hidden under his auburn lock- She shook her head as she pushed away from the floor, being mindful of the open locker. Without looking at Archer, she grabbed her paper from his hand and hid behind her locker door with a quick 'thank you'. She thought he would leave after that but as she fixed her locker, a soothing deep voice called out. "Are you ok?"
