Few Hours Before the Flight

Belle

“ Fipa, do you remember when we met Henry’s friends? That’s where he surprised me. I don’t have any idea that Henry graduated from an Art School and he is friends with some famous Kpop Idols and actors including Lee. Yes, the Lee that I’ve been telling you that I always watch you know! “ I started to tell Fipa.

“Holy s**t! What happened, I want the full details, okay?” Fipa told me.

“Henry planned it all along with aside from him living near our place and also the fact about his friends. I was so shocked back then. Lee seemed so serious at first until we shared a common interest in our love for desserts. You know Fips, he’s lonely and snob but as the night went on. I started to get to know the real him. What he’s been going through.”

“Continue Belle”, commanded Fipa.

“He asked me to recommend some dessert favorites around the Uni and we went together since Henry is busy. That’s where I realized the attraction I have for him is not just a mere crush. It was different, to the point that I’m scared of Fipa.” I drank some water before I continued, “ We have talked a lot and we shared a lot of things in common. There were some girls looking at him but he disguised well until today. He didn’t bother to put a mask on at the park while we ate and talk about different things. We talked about our feelings for each other and that we have to stop since it would be unfair for Henry. While we were talking someone snapped a picture of us and posted it in an instant although Lee called his agency to put some countermeasures about it. He planned to leave as soon as possible and that makes me so damn sad, Fipa.” I cried.

Fipa hugged me, she didn't even say a word. That's a good thing about our relationship. We never judge each other to win whatever things we do. We help build each other up. The kind of a relationship where if I said I killed a person she would definitely help me bury the body, that’s how solid we are. She let me cry and I did, wishing this would somehow remove the burden on me. 

“You know, I also have something to share, Keith is acting differently lately and I’m afraid to dig deeper although my instinct told me to do so, Fipa confessed.

“Why don’t you ask him? You know it is much better if you’ll talk about it. Fipa.” I told her.

“Part of me wanted to ask him and another part of me wanted to wait for him to open up. I just know that something is bothering him. I can feel it.”

“Well, if that’s the case maybe give Keith some time to think things over and wait for him to open up or maybe give some hint to him that you can feel something is wrong,” I told Fipa, and after that my cell phone rings.

“Hello! Who’s this?, I asked.

“Hi, Belle! It’s me, Lee. I just want you to know that I’m leaving tomorrow. I need to fix things back home and I don't want to drag you down in this kind of business. Honest;y, part of me wanted to but like what we’ve talked about we have to stop this and if we are destined to be. I know we will see each other again. Please take care of yourself and see you next time!”.

I choked up on all of the things I wanted to see and my tears just fell freely. So this is goodbye. I hope I can get over this feeling because I know this isn’t right. I love Henry but I feel a strong connection with Lee which I don’t have any control over.

I can feel Fipas arms hugging me and comforting me silently. I am so grateful I have my cousin with me while I’m going through this confusion. It just goes to show that we should never really be alone to gulp everything by ourselves. As much as I want to bawl my eyes out crying, I can’t do that. I can’t make Nana worried for me.

“I’ll see you soon, Belle. Please keep in touch if you’re not busy. I need to go now. You don’t need to say anything. I completely understand,” He told me and I can hear a Lany song over the background.”

“Please take care of yourself, lee. If you want someone to talk to, I’m just a phone call or message away. I’ll be your friend. No matter what!”. I told him.

“Listen, can I meet you tonight, please? “, he pleaded and I automatically said yes. I am a hopeless case.

Damn! What have I done  I thought I will not bother her. All I think is I’m just going to call her to say goodbye. Why did I ask her to meet me tonight? Why would I push myself into a fire pit just to get burned? 

I asked her to go to my hotel to be safe from all the eyes outside. I have to leave Henry’s house to protect his privacy so I checked in, in a hotel near the airport.

After I hang up, I call the receptionist to prepare something special for our dinner. I asked Belle to meet me here. I arranged everything for her. I contacted a car rental service to collect her from her home and bring her back again.

Around 5 PM my door chimed and I opened the door for her. Damn! She looks like an angel. I love how her eyes express everything. I can smell the sweet scent of her perfume. She’s wearing a simple dress and those kinds of sandals with lots of string which give her a f*****g sexy look. 

“Hi! Thanks for being here, Belle.” I told her.

“I just wanted to say goodbye to you properly, Lee.” she shyly told me.

“Come, I prepared something for you. I hope you like it”, I told her.

“Wow! This is so beautiful! Thank you!, she then grabbed a piece of chocolate and chew it, and asked me '' Do you like to taste?”, she offered.

Damn it, I’m going to hell. “ I have a better way of tasting that”, I replied, and then I totally lost it, I grabbed her head and kissed her. It started with a simple kiss and I got deeper, I could taste the bittersweet chocolate and I wanted some more. I started to pursue kissing her deeply and I guess she lost her battle and gave in. She opened her mouth and our tongues met.

“Goodness Belle, I want more, please say yes but If you don’t like I will stop,” I told her, and then she just hugged me as a response. I can’t feel her emotions, her confusion.

“One more taste Belle, please one more”, and I ravaged her again, I don’t want to really stop but I have to. I thought of Henry, so I immediately stopped and went straight to the restroom. I need to cool down.
