“Right this way dear.” He said, holding out his free hand to take and lead me to whatever it was. At this point, I just hoped that it was good. As we walked into the living room we took a seat on the couch and I stared at Brian expectantly.
“Okay, so what’s the surprise?” I asked, looking at his hands that were empty save for his coffee cup. He laughed at my impatience and I crossed my arms. If he was going to act this way I was just going to go back to bed and take a much needed nap.
“Close your eyes and I will go get it crabby pants.” He said, pinching my cheek with his free hand as he sat the coffee cup on the coffee table with the other hand. I swatted away his hand, but obeyed his demand all the same. At least we could get this over with and I could take a nap.
